My dad originally just found her through a website to find providers who work with people that don't have good medical coverage. For the entire time I've seen Doctor Blythe over the past six years, I have never even considered see ANYONE else. Even seeing specialists for other procedures makes me nervous because Doctor Blythe has been so trustworthy and kind. The people in Doctor Blythes office such as nurse Amy, are always sure to make sure my immediate needs are met and always work with me when I meet them with kindness and understanding. Working with patients in the medical field is not easy and they work incredibly hard to accommodate even people who may be seen as difficult - as I've seen personally! Amy is also incredibly gentle and someone I feel I can truly trust to speak to before I see Doctor Blythe. She is also perfect at drawing my blood and nobody has ever done that as I'm a tough stick. I have seen several doctors before her and I have never had my needs met the way she does. She doesn't just help acute problems but she looks at the full picture considering medical history of family members (even those she doesn't see) and anything that could hurt you down the line. Without any bias for me even after seeing me for so long, she is incredibly personable and professional to all patients I've chatted with throughout my time when we briefly meet in the waiting area. Even if Doctor Blythe were to move the Lees Summit area or Missouri (would make me so sad), I would follow her and be a patient even if it meant virtual visits. Thank you Blue Lotus for all you have done for me, my family, and your patients through my time with you!

This place is an absolute scam! Dr. Voss is a dream, however, the clinic owner Dr. Blythe and her…read morestaff that dont answer the phone just text because thats professional, are absolutely negligent. The person who replies to text messages told me that my husband had Hep C when HE DID NOT! Then when being frustrated by their failure to send meds to the pharmacy they replied back when you pay your membership we will send to the doctor for to fill these meds. I asked who sent this message as I found it grossly inappropriate as my membership was paid in full when the meds should've been sent, and I hadnt realized my cc was locked so I immediately made payment to be told they would no longer be seeing myself, my husband, or our child. Again, all via text and not from my provider but from the clinic owner Dr. Blythe. She will claim its because I was rude I am certain or made threats which I didn't and I have the text to back it up. I simply stated I needed this done in a timely manner or I would have to escalate this as my husband had been without his meds for nearly two weeks at this point. Not to mention this was my husband's first time seeing Dr. Voss and we understood that things happen which is why we hadnt been pushy but when it continued not being sent and then we were met with that rude message it was enough. As well, we waited for 2hrs that day all the while missing work because they double booked the doctor. This was our 3rd attempt at seeing the doctor and we had been rescheduled by the office the two previous times for double booking. This was a common occurrence, but Dr. Voss is amazing and was worth the trouble of Dr. Blythes poor attitude and management. She is more concerned with her vacations than her patients. The advertising of no waiting same or next day appointments is a load of BS. Yes, they offer reduced coop pricing but you will wait a month to get labs back and thats if they weren't coagulated when recieved at the lab. Oh and they have a habit of making rushed terrifying diagnosises as they told my son who had strep that they thought he had HIV because he had rose mouth. This was Dr. Blythe herself! Imagine how my 22yo son felt hearing that and the panic he dealt with for days while waiting for the lab results. All in all the only good thing about this place is Dr. Voss and if she is wise which I know she is, she will not stay in the practice for long as it will tarnish her name and credibility, because Dr. Blythe is simply a joke who at best paid for her credentials. I have met and worked with physicians who trained at the university of granada who were far better trained and more trustworthy than her. If you are smart you will avoid this cash only business as there is a reason they are cash only. Also, the sterilization practices leave a lot to be desired, many times they didn't even have paper towels or kleenex and if they had tp it was like a whisper, a half-ply, a piece of a McDonald's bag would serve you better. I strongly recommend a different clinic and hope Dr. Voss leaves this horrible practice as I would pay double to have her as my pcp away from Dr. Blythe and her piss pore management.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Mike Ausmus for 30+ years. He was wonderful. Over the…read moreyears, though, St. Luke's primary care became worse and worse. The bureaucracy became impenetrable. Patients could not schedule an appointment without waiting months - even in an emergency or when post-hospitalization checkups where immediately needed. Patients could not call their doctors. The Central Scheduling office that handles all patient communication knows nothing about medical care, always says it will be 5 to 6 months to get an appointment, even in an emergency. And, the Urgent Care office is notoriously horrible; even St. Luke's doctors recommend going elsewhere. Since Mike retired it has become infinitely worse. We received a letter telling us we'd been "reassigned" to another doctor - like cattle. However, that was not true. When we called to make an appointment for an urgent issue, we were told we did not actually have a doctor. We would need to schedule a new patient appointment - 9 months later. I scheduled new patient appointments for each member of our family, and the doctor cancelled some of them and did not show up for the others. It's been a year now, and our children have not seen a doctor. St. Luke's management has lost its way. By putting up all these barriers between patients and doctors, they are effectively committing malpractice. I would strongly recommend choosing another primary care office.

Then they wanted to reschedule for next year. Next year??? I thought they were joking. I asked then what assurances I would have if I rescheduled the appointment. St. Lukes's said there is no guarantee any of their doctors will keep an appointment. How is this ethical behavior in the medical profession? Very disappointed.
