She stated this was the cost for all the things she would do in order to sell my home (I sold a home two and half years prior and those services were also provided but I paid a three percent commission). Her fee did not include the buyer's relator commission. I declined her offer and she bombard me for several weeks and lowered her commission rate to two percent. That's right from five percent to two percent. I told her that I was not the right client and did not believe she should drop her commission rate; instead, find a client for whom it was acceptable. The whole experience traumatized me. I knew that I had to find a Relator because I would be moving out of state in less than two months. I researched the Realtor who sold the home across the street in a matter of a few days. It was Melissa Husak. I knew from the first meeting, this high energy, take the bull by the horns, very experienced, local and homegrown Peachtree City Realtor was the perfect fit. She came prepared with research in hand, marketing strategy, home assessment, and could explain market demand and potential changes to the interest rate in the coming weeks. My sale was a little unique because I had a buyer but wanted an actionable backup plan just in case. Melissa represented me on my sale and my buyer on their home sale. I have never, never seen a human being move so fast. She accessed their home; suggested changes and got their home on the market with the suggested changes in seven days and had an open house that weekend and their home was sold!! It was a whirlwind experience. We had a glitch at the end with a supposed, improperly signed disclosure report. Melissa handled it; she explained the issue that she already faxed the report, and rescheduled the closing for the next day. She explained that we needed an all clear by 7pm or 8pm before closing date and we would be all good. She was going between the mortgage company, other Realtor, buyers, etc. and kept everyone apprised every step of the way. I have never seen such transparency or energy. It was like watching a tennis match with only one person playing both sides of the court. She is a phenome. Everything was resolved and the closings were held the next day. Melissa also has a soft, warm, gentle and kind side. She is wife, mother and armed with personal stories to support you along the home sale/purchase journey. This move was a scary experience for me because I was relocating out of state for the first time in 20 plus years. She understood the sensitivity needed to get me through the process. I cried more than once because I would, in a way, be starting over. This was more than a simple move for me. Melissa held my hand through the process and has checked on me a few times after the sale. TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

Wil and team went above and beyond to get the colors exactly right and ensure everything was measured and designed to spec for each window. There are way more decisions to make than you realize, so having someone knowledgeable to walk us through the options made all the difference. The results speak for themselves. I wish the photos did them justice! They're even better in person. We went with white 2-inch faux wood blinds (they look awesome with the black windows!), sheer black solar roller shades, and extra-large wood plantation shutters custom painted to match the window trim. This is just the fabricator, (which was not indicated in any of their written materials or outside sign). When you enter the building, you will encounter hallways and a series of doors. There is no reception area, but if an employee hears you he or she will come out an provide assistance. The employee available referred us to their wholesaler, Easy Stones which was just a few miles away. When we arrived there we were asked to sign in before being taken back to view slabs. They had a great selection of slabs but they were of the exotic variety and reminded me of something I would see in a brothel or club. They were wild! We did pick out a couple we liked but we already have a preferred fabricator and a list of wholesalers from which to choose. When we arrived at Provin we specifically mentioned that we wanted granite to cover our shower walls. This is a specific thickness that is not carried by every wholesaler and we were told that Easy Stones could provide this for us. Well, they can't because they don't carry the necessary material, so we wasted a trip. Anyway, if you are looking for some wild and crazy granite for your brothel, they've got the hook up! *** For me, this was not an effective way of doing business because I would only go to a wholesaler if I wanted something very unique, if they were close to my home and used by my preferred fabricator. Also, I need something very simple for my bathrooms because they need to purr not growl when I walk in. I prefer to just go to the fabricator who has their own slabs, pick what I like, and leave with an estimate in hand. That's what I do, easy, peasy!

Needless to say, I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I told Jeffrey before work began that I wanted to make no decisions and that came to pass thanks to his detailed plans. The contractors worked from those plans and I have only the highest praise for them, too. Jeffrey's plans combined three rooms into one large space and included replacing the cellar stairs (where I had to duck my head going down) with a circular stair case that is just perfect. The final result was far removed from my initial discussion with Jeffrey but his design was so perfect that I quickly deferred to him on virtually everything he wanted to do. He included a large island in the kitchen which I had not envisioned and behind it he added a three-pane glass sliding door that lets a ton of light into the room and that I use all the time to get to my deck. He also designed a garden window that projects outward by about eighteen inches and is full of plants. I first learned of Jeffrey because he designed the kitchen of my next-door-but-one neighbor. I loved it and I love mine even more. I'm so happy with the result. The work also included a new floor in the attic space and opened up the den to the new kitchen.
