Went to Thomas for breakfast and it was very good food. The only problem is depending on who your wait staff is depends on service. A lot of servers stand around kitchen window and have no idea their costumers are requiring service. Best to sit near kitchen so easy to get server when needed. read more

Was in town for business and stopped in for a late lunch. The cool sign out front caught my attention. I've been trying to eat healthy so I ordered the Southwest Salad. I was really surprised! First it was huge, the lettuce was crisp and it was topped with grilled chicken. The chicken was the bomb! I don't know what kind of seasoning they use but it was awesome, juicy, and full of flavor. They put pinto beans in the salad which was a little different than I have seen before but it works- loaded with fresh diced tomato, avocado, red onion and tortilla strips. Add the jalapneo ranch dressing and you have a great meal. The service was good and very friendly. Look forward to my next trip to Pryor. read more

This restaurant was awesome!!! Menu had something for everyone. Food was tasty and fresh. Guacamole made fresh to order, street tacos were great, my daughter had beef stew and loved it. My son and husband had the Brunch burger and loved that as well. I had the fish tacos and they were very flavorful. Great wait staff!!! Good food, slow and unenthusiastic service. Place was not that busy either. Others were waiting and seemed irritated too. Was traveling from Dallas to St Louis, a trip I do monthly. Will stop elsewhere next time. The place has promise but needs better management. read more

I am from out of town and eat out a lot. First let me say the food was fresh and good. Eggs, ham and hash browns. side of one biscuit and gravy. Gravy was ok. But this place on a Sunday morning around 10am is full of young kids playing waitress and waiter. Mostly spent there time in the back where you could watch them laughing and joking around. It took 25 minutes to get my breakfast. Had to ask the young lady to get me more coffee and never did get a refill on the water. She was too busy playing around in the back. So, service for me was lousy, the wait was too long for ham and eggs in a 1/4 full restaurant. The two stars are for the food quality. Fabulous home cooking. Free onion ring appetizers after 5. Grest service and food! We stopped on a whim and are so glad that we did!. Spicy Ranch Chicken was wonderful. Hot Roast Beef had a wonderful flavor. read more

We just ate at the new Thomas Restaurant. The waitress said they have new owners. I came here because i remember the old Thomas's hot rolls and pies. This place is a joke. We waited to be seated and no one seated us so we grabbed two menus and sat down. We ordered fried catfish and salad. We waited 10 mins for the salad. I noticed our waitress texting while our salad sat. Then the catfish came. The fryer must not have dried the fish before dredging it in the batter because it was wet and slimy inside. The waitress said they were out of pie and the dinner rolls were some over warmed store bought saucer shaped rolls. We will never be back. They did offer to trade the meal but they took it off our ticket instead. There was no manager on site just girls standing around rolling silverware and talking about payday and boys. This was a total disappointment. We came at 2:00 Sept 13. read more

They were really swamped with Rocklahoma tourists, but the service was quick and very friendly. Food was nice and the pricing wasn't bad.

The 12 ounce rib-eye steak was so tough their steak knife was not sharp enough to cut it told waitress and manager but they could have cared less. Also their so called butter was the worst I've ever had. This is so sad because the previous owners had such great food. This was the second and last time I eat at this restaurant. Amazing food and even better service!!! My daughter and I go at least once a week for lunch. I've tried everything from the French toast to the check an quesadilla and have not been disappointed. I have been here twice when visiting Pryor, just a few thoughts... The Good: The customers. It seemed that most of the people there were locals, and they all seemed to know one another. It was a little like an episode of Cheers, everyone really DID seem to know everyone else's name. It looks like a great place for Pryor locals to hang out and unwind after work. The Bad: The service. They don't have enough server staff to meet the customer's requirements in a timely manner. Word to the wise: come in, sit down, and have your drink AND food order ready to go when the server eventually shows up, because chances are you may not get their attention again. This is not due to bad staff. They are very nice and friendly people. It's because both times I was there they only had two waitstaff running the entire restaurant during Saturday night dinner service. The Ugly: The food... the food is unforgivably bad. The food tastes worse than Satan's anus. I think I would rather watch Gigli with Jennifer Lopez three times before eating their slop ever again. I had their chicken strips the first time, and they tasted like someone had battered and fried couch cushions, then tried to pass it off as food. The second time I went I thought I was smart and got a salad. It was a little better, but their idea of a salad is all iceberg lettuce, some shreds of plastic that I think was supposed to be cheese, and their couch cushion chicken shopped up on top. The biggest insult here is that they try to make up for their awful food by serving you enough of it to feed a small country for a day. I could eat only about a third of it (yes I still ate the food to be polite) before getting too stuffed to eat. Don't come here unless it's just for a drink to unwind after work. Go there several times a day for breakfast. Love their omelettes (order any way you like). Partner loves their breakfast bowls. They also have some potatoes that he raves about. Dinners and lunchs are good too. Good homecoming any time of the day. read more

After an extremely wearing and emotional night, my daughter and I just happened upon this diner. I wasn't expecting much, just hot coffee and a place to sit during a long wait for family. We ended up spending 3 hours and had breakfast. The food was cooked perfectly. Eggs exactly over medium, hash browns cooked just crisp enough. The facility was well cared for and you could tell thought and love went into the decorating. But, the best part was our server, DeAnn. She was spot on with service and I got to spend serves hours of people watching, thus, watching her work as well. A lot of elderly seem to frequent the place. With each patron she was thoughtful and kind. At one point a older gentleman came in who turned out to be deaf. She sat firm with him and figured out exactly what her wanted. I was beyond impressed. Not to mention, that my daughter and I took up a table for 3 hours and she was attentive the entire time. If I ever come through Pryor again I will definitely come back. read more

I like the look of the place with the counter and plenty of booths. The waitress was really nice, very attentive and very easy on the eyes. The menu had a very nice variety and the prices weren't bad at all. There was only one drawback but it's a big one. The food. I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich. The menu said it was a chicken fried steak on sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle sauce. Chipotle sauce on a chicken fried steak sandwich? The waitress asked if I wanted French fries or onion rings. I asked homemade onion rings? She shook her head disappointedly and said umm no not homemade. I took the french fries which were good,the sandwich not so much. There was no doubt whatsoever that the chicken fried steak was a factory breaded beef patty. No where near the same thing. I never tasted anything remotely like chipotle sauce but there was a big bunch of avocado on it. Fries good, service good, the coffee was good,nice place, good prices, hot waitress and very good at her job but the food.....just not so good. Might go back but just not sure read more
