My work can take a toll physically so I come bi-monthly. Dr. Colandrea loosens the muscle area before adjusting, so I leave feeling like I just got both a massage and an adjustment. He also has helped me know how to make the most impact in my workouts as I'm trying to be a Pilates princess in the front and gym baddie in the back but have hip pains and a tough work schedule. The afternoon PT worker was more interested in pushing his MLM that helping me with my treatment. At one point he took my number, I assumed it was for appointments purposes. Odd because the front desk has my contact information. Turns out it was to send me a video to push a "miracle oil". I decided not to return and to elsewhere. Best thing I ever did. The new practice was wonderful. We did a number of exercises, gave me a workout plan for home, discussed what to look for with footwear and suggested adaptive equipment my insurance would cover. What a difference! I feel sad that people come for help and they are being pushed a product. People who need PT are vulnerable, often elderly or young kids on sports teams. They need help getting back to their normal activities. It wasn't professional or at all ethical.

I have been to several neurologists and a neuro-opthamologist along with a neurosurgeon who did not understand how the upper cervical spine could be causing my symptoms and that I did not have intracranial hypertension, but none of them did an upright MRI with flex/ext or imaging that looked in this area. I was made to feel like it was all in my head and that I just needed an antidepressant. I am tired of being dismissed by doctors who don't understand this complex area of the body and how it relates to your brain/body function. I don't feel the neurology group is serving their patients since they cannot find or explain their symptoms they are put into a catch all diagnosis of function neurological disorder. If you are experiencing symptoms that your neurologist can't explain go see Dr. Rosa. He is amazing and a ray of hope!
