I wanted to donate and the friendly guy asked if I wanted to sign up to get information, but I declined. I was the only one in there. The exhibit was called "Allegedly the Worst is Behind Us" which featured 12 artists and their work expressing intergenerational trauma. The work was very personal and moving and inspiring too. The work was much more interesting than the San Jose Art Museum. I felt the work would definitely resonate with others who may have experienced the same thing. Since I saved $20 on the last museum, I put it in the donation box in the front. Great place to come to!

After the worker asked me about the motif and color palette of my house, he helped me come to a decision on a floating canvas in frame. When I finally picked up the the project, I was blown away by how the framing truly enhanced the art. The color choose of the frame matched my interior design perfectly. Unfortunately my current order has not yet arrived. It has been 11 days. This has never happened before now. The usps number they gave me is apparently not a usps number. I have emailed them several times with no response. I cannot find a phone number on their website. I have been charged for the items that were supposed to be Easter gifts for our grandchildren. I will keep emailing them and update here if and when this is resolved. I most likely will not order from them again. UPDATE: I did hear back from them, explanation was that items were shipped via ups innovations, then on the USPS. It is unfortunate that this was not explained when I placed the order. Had I known that, I would have not ordered from them. I did receive the items 12 days after I ordered them. (in the past it was always 7-8) I like supporting smaller businesses, but Frecklebox should be much clearer on their delivery times, AND post a phone number! My advice: if you use this business, I would not order anything if you need it in less than 3 weeks (just to be safe)

I recently viewed the Morgan Hill Photography Club's current exhibition, Landscapes, on display at…read morethe Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center. A long hallway to walk through with artworks lining the walls, beautiful scenes in nature, many of the pieces for sale. My fave, The Soil Waiting by Susan Wright Vater (I just have a thing for clouds, and this one spellbinding), followed by Beauty Under Pressure by Jeff Bentz, the blend of colors captured wonderfully in this picture, truly a magnificent sight. Quiet and cool inside the building, with vending machines, restrooms, and seating just around the corner, it was a pleasant experience on a warm Sunday afternoon. A large parking lot available as well, for convenience. This club provides an amazing opportunity for artists and hobbyists to showcase their talents and share with others. I certainly appreciate the themed exhibits held throughout the year, where their photography can be viewed and admired by the public for free, the next theme (Sept-Oct) being "photocation", exploring the idea of vacationing in one's hometown. As a fair warning, the tiny tiny gift shop is extremely limited in size. The path is extremely narrow due to objects being placed along both sides of the entire business and the space in itself is already tight. I came here a few days ago in hopes of finding a traditional tet outfit for my daughter. Although the selection seems a bit limited, the articles of clothing are clean, bright, and very easy on the eyes. A special TY to the lady behind the counter was very courteous and helpful during our search. While I was busy searching for the right design and look for the outfit my daughter couldn't help herself from grabbing a flashy spinner wand that blares out the most annoying tube. Lmao!! Go figure huh?? I decided to make that additional purchase and only asked if they had a wrapped or boxed wand since this one was clearly a sample it out. The gentleman behind the counter seemed agitated and wasn't friendly at all. A simple no would have been fine and the attitude could have totally been kept to himself. How unfortunate that the lady owner is this business's only saving grace. Not recommended if you are in any way claustrophobic or if you are expecting any kind of decent customer service. The current exhibition was set up in a small gallery sharing a space with Chopsticks Alley in an adjacent room of the building. With the theme "Super Hunger Anti-Valentine Bowl Games part LX", I had the pleasure of viewing Baseball, Boose, and Beyonce (acrylic on canvas 2025) by Hadi Aghaee, a bold and impressive piece representing power imbalance. But the rest of the artworks were quite engaging too, one of my faves being Jonathan Kermit's The Inexplicable Mys-tree of the Heart. Works SJ presents a variety of meaningful art displays, musical performances, and creative events showcasing the talents and diversity of the art community in the south bay, and supports education in the arts as well. I enjoyed my recent visit, being able to explore all of the beautiful pieces at my own pace, with free entry. Staff/volunteers were available on site ready to answer questions or assist guests, and merchandise was being sold outside just around the corner.

I followed the links to Tony's webpage and submitted an inquiry on if he had the surfboard with the Twilight Tranquility print. He quickly got back to me with the information I was looking for, I then asked him if I could order. He then called me and we completed the transaction over the phone having a lovely conversation. I Tony advised it would be out in the next 7-14 days. I received a receipt and just 3 days after initial contact the print was delivered. The metal surfboard was packaged well, it was boxed/taped inside another box. The board is ready for hanging or mounting, whatever you prefer. The print itself is rich with color, and just a gorgeous piece of art we cannot wait to hang! Excellent product, exceptional customer service, and well worth the price!
