Anyways, we went over everything again, including pricing, and I was told it would be ready the next day by noon. I came back after work, hours after I was told it would be done. It still wasn't ready. They had to locate my original photo and print/cut everything on the spot while I waited. To their credit, the edits (reducing blur and glare) turned out well, and the attendant was apologetic throughout. However, I also had to return again to pick up my original photo, which they again had trouble locating. Overall, the final product was decent, but the process felt disorganized and inconvenient. I don't usually expect discounts, but given the multiple issues, it would have been nice and I probably wouldn't have written this review. Can't say I recommend them.

After much coaching, the preview they showed me on their computer looked correct. I also emphasized that the production notes at the very bottom of the print, though not being exposed, must remain intact for future provenance. There was no reason to suspect they would be affected because the mat and frame were to be significantly larger than the 2' x 3' print. Refer to my 2 photos as to the result (which is bad beyond words). In short, the results bears no resemblance to what I wanted and they actually cut the legend. The mat was also a bit crooked, but that's the least of my worries. Avoid this "Custom Framing" shop at all costs!

Inside you will find a plethora of trophies, awards, trinkets to recognize someone. It may be a little daunting if this is your first visit, as the store is full wall to wall with so many examples. So have something in mind before you go, so you can narrow down. Otherwise you could be lost for an hour easily. I purchased some student scholar trophies and had them engrave my kid's name, school, year of graduation and mount it on the trophy. They are normally backed up by a week or so, so plan early. If you want it one day earlier they charge $5 additional or $10 extra if its a rush order. He walked away from the job half way into the phase owing me $5k. When I asked him to return the money, he told me to take him to court and that if I did, he would come back and destroy everything he had done. I contacted the Calif State License Board and found out his license had expired many years ago and they were well aware of him as they have extensive cases against him. I've notified the license board, police and county sheriff's office to document his threats. He uses fake PO Box address and a license # that was terminated decades ago. I hired a PI and did a background search, something I should have done before handing over $10k cash. He has extensive criminal records and has many judgements against him. He is an angry person seemingly upset with the world. Smallest things would trigger his him, like me checking on his work. Do not make the mistake of hiring him someone like him without proper background check first.
