The job they did was incredibly bad and actually ruined the print that I brought in. I meticulously…read moregave them detailed, desired dimensions and had them take a photo record of a detailed simulation I made for them. After much coaching, the preview they showed me on their computer looked correct. I also emphasized that the production notes at the very bottom of the print, though not being exposed, must remain intact for future provenance. There was no reason to suspect they would be affected because the mat and frame were to be significantly larger than the 2' x 3' print. Refer to my 2 photos as to the result (which is bad beyond words). In short, the results bears no resemblance to what I wanted and they actually cut the legend. The mat was also a bit crooked, but that's the least of my worries. Avoid this "Custom Framing" shop at all costs!

They had heart shaped silicon molds for making cupcakes, stickers, gift bags and decor. They also had valentine hair accessories. I found a cute hair clip that I wanted to purchase. All the valentines items were 40% off, which was a great deal. There was a small section of St. Patrick's Day items, as well. At the checkout you have the option for self checkout or checkout with an employee. There was a customer being helped at a register and two were checking out at the self checkout. An employee directed me to an available self checkout which worked out great. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes total. I really love that they offer self checkout. I remember in the past when you'd have to wait in a crazy long line with only two registers open. The self checkout eliminates this long wait. It makes the shopping experience so much better.

I got to the store, and was unable to locate the specific design I was looking for, but they had ANOTHER one available (that online said wasn't in store).... I thought, score! Took it up to the register to check if the could price match the app. After waiting about 10 minutes for the one employee at the front end to finish with another customer having a price discrepancy, she scanned my item, said it was discontinued, and was listed at FULL PRICE. I'm like, uh no. Signs back there said 40% off by this designer, and the APP was showing 60% off! She suggested buying it in the app for store pick up. Remember above when I mentioned it wasn't een LISTED as in stock? She called the manager on her internal phone thing, and she says that's all they can do. I just "chatted" with their corporate online customer service. When adding the item to my cart, at the discounted price, I then go to the cart, and it's FULL PRICE. Online customer service suggests buying it full retail online, then chatting with them AGAIN abou tthe price discrepency and they would "see what they could do". Are you kidding me? Where has customer service gone? Why couldn't the manager come out and talk to me at the store? Why couldn't the ONLINE customer service price adjust or coupon it for that one transaction or something? Apparently management and online customer service is gone at Michaels. I used to think fondly of them, I guess it's a sign how I never see customers in the store, as to the current. I wanted 1 or 2 items... now it just leaves a bad thought. I'd recommend TRIPLE CHECKING the online cart pricing as you proceed through checkout ... I guess both online AND in store, since apparently customer service is officially dead.
