I have been coming to Dr Johnson's practice since 2008 and have had very few issues with any service or person. Twice now (2008 & 2015) have I received the best type of environmental allergy test ever. For a test that could take up to two hours, it is certainly worth having done to recognize what your body has allergies to. There is also a food allergy test which I will get done at my next visit. The suggested result of the test is for a two-year run of either weekly or bi-weekly allergy injections. For any allergy test, plan to be at the practice for half a day. When you arrive, you likely will meet the provider first, then off to the test that could take a couple hours. After it, you wait and may see the provider again. You want to give enough time to ensure you have no after effects from the allergy test. I never had and even if I did, the allergy technicians tell you what to do for it. These ladies are skilled and trained well in this field. When you do arrive the practice, you can park anywhere you find a spot. Then enter the spacious waiting area only to be greeted by the friendly women behind the counter. They check you in, go over your insurance coverages & billing, then check you out with scheduling future appointments in that area. In my experience, the staff have been friendly, informative, and efficient. The lady who checks you in during the day has a very nice approach to your arrival. The woman who checks you out is ALWAYS very friendly, caring, and thoughtful. I have never seen her have a bad day. If she does, she hides it well. These women should be commended with the care they have for the patients, above and beyond. As you appear on a regular basis, they remember you and your name, which is rare to find at a busy practice. Wait times are hard to report because everyone is here for something different. Although, Allergy injections are generally a shorter time but expect to wait 20 mins after to be sure there are no reactions. If Dr Johnson isn't available to meeting you, there are a few Physician Assistants (PA) who have always been nice, knowledgeable, and caring to meet with. Either option, all have a very comfortable demeanor and listen to your issues and then provide a solution. I certainly recommend this practice for an accurate allergy test and treatment for any allergy conditions. Be sure to ask questions all the time and be sure that you are informed of the allergy injections and tests before going through it all. read more

I have been a patient under the care of Drs Thomas Johnson and Tiffany Johnson for 8 years. 8 years ago I had a horrible respiratory infection and went from one doctor to the next with multiple antibiotics, inhalers, ED visits and high amounts of steroids. All of my doctors at the time told me I was not controlling my "asthma". When I heard that I decided to make an appt with Dr J so I could figure out how to control my "asthma." Through his careful examination and some testing he discovered I had a problem with my immune system. After his treatment I was better in 3 days. This was a miracle. I was unable to walk to the bathroom without dry coughing and gasping for breath. Dr J told me my renewed immune system could last 5-10 years. I am back to see him now 8 years later with a similar issue, just as he predicted. His practice is the way medicine should be-- doctors listen to you, they perform treatments/diagnostic tests while you are in the office, they come back into the room and discuss the results. Its takes time, but you get answers. Dr J's office is nothing fancy, but it's clean, just not updated. There are no PAs or NPs. You get the real deal. He is an amazing doctor who cares more about his patients than fancy furniture. After having been as sick as I once was 8 years ago and now being able to work, travel and enjoy my family, I owe my renewed life/renewed immune system to him. read more

hi my name is frank, and i want people to know this, people i am saying this cause i don't want you to go to this practice, they make you wait over an hour in the rooms once they call you which is another hour of waiting. this happened to me 3 times, i should have learned but! when they schedule you for your next appointment, they make the appointment for no reason at all. there is no communication throughout this office and when you leave messages for the office manager she never never calls you back. horrible horrible office, i do not recommend read more

Saw dr Johnson for years for reg n allergy n asthma shots. Switched drs to a point 5 rating redid allergy testing n blood work which dr j never had me do. Seems all these allergy shots xolair shots I didnt need. It was his benefit for payment n my levels are very low. Dont need them at all. Please do yourself a favor and get out of that office. The staff are rude as well . There is a great personable dr in n and. That is way more qualified. read more

Recently switched to Dr. Johnson as my new PCP, and it didn't last very long. My first visit was a normal Annual Exam. I went in thinking they may do some basic blood work and an exam. Instead, they ran blood work, urinalysis, did chest x-rays (I'm only 32 and was extremely confused by this), and read an EKG. During this whole process, there was about 5 words spoken to me, so I was confused the entire time. I was told to come back a week later to go over the lab work. On the 1 week recheck (which was supposed to be a brief lab review) they checked me in and never called me up to be seen. I waited over 1 hour in the lobby and finally complained. They then told me that I had gone to the wrong reception desk and that it was my fault. I should mention that I work at a Veterinary Hospital, and that our level of care with dogs & cats is about 1000% better than this place. When I went back for my 1 week recheck, there was still blood-spatter on the wall in their lab, which I noticed on the previous visit. All in all, this place is not worth your time. read more

For over 5 years an individual from a group home was told he had allergies and was given 5-7 shots twice a month. How despicable is a doctor to take advantage of a disabled person who cannot speak or express pain to put him through this if he doesn't have allergies. He now has a new doctor who discontinued his RX and epi-pen that was carried to every appointment in case he had an allergic reaction. Can you say malpractice? What a scam read more
