My mother has been with Doctor Brian for over 8 years now. My mother who is a registered nurse suffered from a stroke and and aneurysm and since moving up to Merced from Los Angeles in 2012 he and his staff have been nothing but incredibly patient and professional with her. Dr. Bryan is the best physician that she has had. He takes his with with his patients and listens rather than dismisses them. My mother and I would highly recommend Dr. Bryan to any patient seeking a new doctor or a doctor for the first time. I also was a patient for over two years and was dropped like a hot potato January they took away _________ said it was the feds. February- I didn't get any meds at all. The Dr said " Damn forms (feds ) I'm not going to fill out any more forms". I got my insurance on cell, speaker on , asked what is wrong with my forms? They said 3 items were left out. Dr came down the hallway saying I did do it. I point out the letter I got from my insurance that says the same 3 items were left off. I was a patient there for about 2 yrs. I received a letter from his office saying I could no longer be seen there as a patient! With no explanation! But I knew why! I had called Alliance about something they were not supposed to do in regards to Alliance-Medi-Cal patients they agreed with me and didn't really say what they were going to do. Well three or four days after I made the call I received the letter from their office signed by Dr Bryan! So I was left with no medication and ended up in the ER because of my pain and the effects from stopping cold turkey! The two girls that worked the front office, were very rude to me and all other patients! I was charged a no-show fee of ten dollars. I paid the fee and went in and saw Dr. Bryan. I told him that the girl at the desk told me I had to pay a $10 no show fee. He seemed very surprised by this, I don't think he knew about them doing that! And I told him that even just paying that amount was really hard for me to come up with. My family, me, husband and two daughters had lost our home and were homeless at the moment. He was very sympathetic (I was in tears) we got finished with the appointment and went out to make my next appointment, he asked the girls to give me my money back. One of them asked why? He told her why and she didn't want to give it back to me. She said, well everyone is having a hard time! He said OK, but give it back please! She took out a cash box that had like petty cash in it and reluctantly gave it back! I am sure they were pocketing the money. My next appointment and from then on they were really rude to me, well more rude to me than before because they are just very rude anyway! Well after Alliance spoke to them about my concern, I received a letter about three or four days later saying that I could not be seen at their office anymore! So if you don't want people that you depend on to get your medication, that could care less, then go somewhere else! read more

Wow i was a pat there about 3 years ago when i went to my apt the rude receptionist told me that dr brian did not want to see me anymore i asked why and no explanation was given. He left me cold turkey no med at all. This dr dismissed otherr pat that i know like nothing. They dont care if you are cold turkey or not and its very dangerous to leave a pat cold turkey. These pleople are dangerous to the oat and the practice if anyone get discharge from his office cold turkey i recommend you to report him and his staff to the State or EMTALA. Period. read more

So on 6-3-2015 my 75 year old grandmother started receiving pain management services from Dr. Bryan and every time she had an appointment we had to wait in a really tiny lobby and then the patient rooms were really dark but that's beyond the main point. On 8-24-2015 my grandmother had an ER follow up with her PCP and she had told her PCP about her neck pain. So without my grandmother asking for it, she was given a pain prescription so since we had a contract with Dr. Bryan we took it to him to get his approval and on 8-28-2015 he said fine, go ahead and turn it in so that's what we did. On 9-15-2015, our PCP called us to inform us that Dr. Bryan's extremely rude receptionist screamed at her as to why we got the prescription from her own PCP and when we said why, all of a sudden we were accused of violating our contract with Br. Bryan and as of today we got US Mail notification that as of 9-29-2015, we are being dropped for something that we were given permission to do. Now as far as the receptionist, Cindy, she is far from being a receptionist because all she does is say that the patient is wrong when something comes up and then sides with the doctor without hearing both sides of the problem and then she also gets arrogant and belligerent when you say something that she doesn't like to hear and this is also in addition to not delivering phone messages to the doctor. I am actually glad that were looking for a new pain doctor because I don't know how much longer I could have put up with this place. My rating of one star was simply because 0 stars wasn't available so read this before choosing this doctor for your pain management services. read more

Rudest, disrespectful people ever. Worse answering service ever. The lady who answered sighed as she answered the phone. That should have been the 1st. Red flag, then when i asked if the Dr. Was excepting new patients she rudely answered of course. She refused to schedule me a appt. So i asked her if she was feeling okay. Then i asked to speak to someone else. She said there was no one else there. I asked her name. She then gave a name and said they are not excepting no patients at all. Awful staff my son took me and the staff is so rude he had to say something. He will write you anything you want so if your looking to start selling pills he's the guy to see.. another bonus is the receptionist has a cute daughter who puts out to anyone who wants it. read more
