I felt that this had to be a joke of some sort. She was "out of the office for 4 weeks" when I called to get my Epi pen renewed. I was told I would have to wait until she returned and come in for a physical and lab work before it could be filled. I couldn't be without my Epi pen that long and called another doctor. 3 months later she sends me a certified letter declining to be my doctor any longer. She will withhold a life saving Epi pen to force me to pay for an office visit and labs. Not the doctor I need.

She is extremely diligent in her practice and even recently went above and beyond for me to order a tier 4 prescription for me that was extremely time sensitive requiring a emergent prior authorization with insurance. This was not even her responsibility, but was put on her from one of my specialists. Her staff, her referral team, and herself really care for their people and do excellent work. I absolutely reccomend this primary care group wholeheartedly.

When I was little I wanted to be a doctor just like him. The reason for four stars instead of five? The waiting time is forever. If you have a 4:00 appointment, you might not even get a room until 5:30. We would always forget this and have to cancel appointments we had scheduled for after this. Dr. Lloyd met with her family members after diagnosing her condition. He clearly understood the most likely outcome. He led the family through a decision making process about how to deliver medical care throughout her final days that was in her best interest. The latest was last week. I told him from the start not to give me any drugs not on my file without getting permission from me. He ignored that. I was not given my regular drugs. I'm diabetic and he only allowed less than one fifth my normal. Gave me something designed to remove potassium even though I have three doctors who say I have a potassium deficiency. I was given IV antibiotics. Three days went by before a nurse noticed that the antibiotics were in glucose instead of saline. My blood sugars for the week remained at dangerous levels. At discharge they went to remove the Pict line IV. Massive bleeding. He had ordered blood thinners. He prescribed two oral antibiotics when I left. Never talked to me. I have been having reactions for two days. Hospital can't reach him. I've already talked to a lawyer. Horrible treatment.
