The " doctor ", nurse practitioner Renee Hartsman proceeded to tell me she refused to prescribe him medicine because " she doesn't like to give medicine to children " etc. I waited three hours, and when I told her he's had it prior bc he's known to get chronic coughs, she still told me no and to let him just suffer basically run it's course and offer " Tylenol " which has nothing to do with coughs. When I turned in the paperwork, I conveyed that I needed an appointment as soon as possible. The front desk told me the doctor would look over the paperwork and call me. Over one month later, the office called me to inform me that they were not accepting new patients, but I could stay on their list for when they re-evaluate in January or February! They had multiple opportunities to tell me they weren't accepting new patients when I inquired and turned in paperwork. Not only did I waste my time filling out their new patient history forms, my treatment has been set back for over a month! Very poor communication and no sympathy from the front desk whatsoever!

His wife manages the front office and works very hard to keep up with all that is required for the patient's benefit, despite them being inundated with many calls and requests. I appreciate their dedication, integrity, and desire to help others. I would like to add that I feel great respect for anyone who is a neurologist. Having been a former RN, I perceive it as being one of the most difficult fields in medicine because of requiring extensive study and years of experience to become truly proficient. They do not use computers, so you cannot email. Nor can you view any of his notes or any diagnoses. Or look up when your next appointment is. They never erase the voicemail so it's always full. If she has another call she hangs up on you. (been hung up on at least 20 times) Every single referral has had errors that caused even further delays. Dr. Lee missed the fact that my mother (like most old people) is on blood thinners and ordered a spinal tap. Referral for PET scan was sent to wrong facility. Walked in today, gave her two pieces of paper and told her she has Alzheimer's. No opinion on progression, no idea of how fast it will happen and absolutely zero compassion. When I asked about treatment he said there were two, gave the name and asked which one we wanted. No explanation on pros and cons of each. Also said they might cause swelling and brain bleeding. No explanation as to how often it happens. I could go on for hours. If you value your own or a loved ones care do not see Dr. Lee (Choo Lee and Steven Lee are the same person) Literally go absolutely anywhere else.

Dr. Salas…read moreherself takes her time to listen to my ailments and even has personally fixed misdiagnoses that other doctors had given me and changed my livelihood so much for the better. She is extremely diligent in her practice and even recently went above and beyond for me to order a tier 4 prescription for me that was extremely time sensitive requiring a emergent prior authorization with insurance. This was not even her responsibility, but was put on her from one of my specialists. Her staff, her referral team, and herself really care for their people and do excellent work. I absolutely reccomend this primary care group wholeheartedly.
