Dr. Lloyd met with her family members after diagnosing her condition. He clearly understood the most likely outcome. He led the family through a decision making process about how to deliver medical care throughout her final days that was in her best interest. He was gentle, compassionate, upbeat, positive and caring. In a word, he was awesome!

The latest was last week. I told him from the start not to give me any drugs not on my file without getting permission from me. He ignored that. I was not given my regular drugs. I'm diabetic and he only allowed less than one fifth my normal. Gave me something designed to remove potassium even though I have three doctors who say I have a potassium deficiency. I was given IV antibiotics. Three days went by before a nurse noticed that the antibiotics were in glucose instead of saline. My blood sugars for the week remained at dangerous levels. At discharge they went to remove the Pict line IV. Massive bleeding. He had ordered blood thinners. He prescribed two oral antibiotics when I left. Never talked to me. I have been having reactions for two days. Hospital can't reach him. I've already talked to a lawyer. Horrible treatment.
