Let me start out by saying this. Did I get the used car I needed? Yes. Was the remaining part of the experience in purchasing a car miserable? YES. Now, let me explain why. I arrive looking for a specific type of used vehicle. We find only one that has been recently traded. Not ready for the showroom, but we go take a look. I then ask what the numbers are on it and I have to wait 2 days for pricing. Because a mechanic needs a ride to Pittsburgh the next day and will be using this very vehicle. I come back to talk money/insurance a day later. They don't tell you about any hidden fees until you're locked in. Document fee is complete BS. When it comes time to reviewing the bill. Then they play dumb and stare at the ceiling. We finish the paperwork. I request a full tank of gas. They look at me like I have 10 heads. Then I'm told, "We don't do that here." Well then I said, "I don't buy a car here." The sales person gets into the car and goes to get gas. In addition to the above experience, it was then followed by the below. I specifically requested a loan that would not have a payoff penalty fee. I was told NO PROBLEM. Pay the vehicle off - early payoff penalty fee. They don't explain that the title will be an electronic title and charge you $30.50 for title and registration. But when it comes time to give you your title, they claim that's your responsibility to pay an additional fee after the fact. OVERALL: I'm pleased. Because I never have to deal with them again and they provided me with the opportunity to write this wonderful review to tell the world to be wary of stepping foot into this dealership. Bought a used truck from Thomas on a Thursday. Took it home, drove it for 2 days, and it died. Will start and not run. This truck was as is, and I completely understand that fact. But what dealership with "a very experienced staff in their service department", would allow someone to drive a vehicle off their lot, and have it work for 2 days.......before telling that person "Sorry, any repair costs will be on you". Will definitely not buy from them again. Starting to think I would have been better off dealing with the dealership up the hill, where I test drove a truck containing an upside down tachometer.......Really sad nowadays. read more

Absolutely horrible service department. I trusted them to replace the engine in a 2006 300c. I wish I would have read other reviews on other sites before doing so. $7500 later I brought the vehicle home to find smoke billowing out from under the hood and a quart of oil on the garage floor. I took it back and they tell me the service technician forgot to put a plug on the new engine. The put the plug on, put oil in it, and told me everything was fine and no damage was done to the engine. They were wrong now I have a car that runs great for 5 minutes and then stalls. It stalls in the garage, at the stop sign and even on the interstate. They said it is an unrelated problem so I returned it to their care and spent another $500 for diagnostic time. The end result was some advice. $500 to be told they can't figure it out and their best "best advice" was to drive it until it breaks down and won't run at all. Real good advice from the service "professionals" at Thomas Garage. An accident waiting to happen. Please do your research and read the reviews on other sites as this is the first on Google. We recently took our new Ram truck to Thomas Chrysler for a basic service appointment. It needed diesel exhaust fluid added under the bumper to bumper warranty. To our surprize, we later learned that Robert Thomas allows and even encourages his service dept employees to take customers vehicles home overnight. In our particular situation the employee took our new $70,000. truck joyriding to his home out of state consisting of 50-60 miles of unnecessary and unauthorized use. It appears that he may have took it out mudden as our truck was returned to us all muddy, dirty and had a faint odor of what smelt like spilt beer coming from the interior. One rear tire was almost flat and one of the front tires was aired up to 95 psi. When I called the manager, his assistant as well as the owner Robert Thomas, I was told that Thomas Chrysler always allows their employees to use customers vehicles and yes even to take them back and forth to work overnight. I was told that they have insurance coverage that completely covers this reckless practice, but when I asked the owner for his insurance information he was not at all forth coming. The bottom line is: If you don't mind the fact that the owner of this garage allows and even encourages employees of Thomas Chrysler to use their customers vehicles as if they were their own, go ahead and have your vehicles serviced there. But if you are like most folks and don't want your vehicles used in that way, I suggest that you should take your vehicle elsewhere for service. I checked with all of the other Chrysler Dealerships in the area and all others clearly stated that they do not allow any such behavior from their employees and staff. BTW, as far as buying a new Chrysler from Thomas Garage, I can tell you that their sales numbers are not very good, and that much better deals can be found at other dealerships. They priced our truck at approx $6700. more than what we purchased it for from an other Chrysler Dealership. I called Robert Thomas the owner, while making an audio recording. When I was telling him about the unauthorized use of our vehicle as well as his warranty overcharge, he said "I don't give a FUC"!! read more
