I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the communication and customer service I have…read moreexperienced within your company. I was informed that because I missed one referral appointment in 2022, I was deemed ineligible to be seen by the doctor. Additionally, I was told over the phone that all "Medi-Cal" patients, including myself, frequently fail to show up for appointments. This generalization struck me as unprofessional and unfair. As someone who works in the healthcare industry and has coordinated numerous patient appointments, I have never encountered such labeling or a lack of professionalism. It was disheartening to be categorized in a way that implied irresponsibility, especially when I had never received a call from the Orland Vision Center and had to receive my care at Chico Eye Center in 2022 instead. Now, in 2026, I am simply seeking an updated prescription and did not anticipate this process to be so complicated. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve your communication practices to treat all patients with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
