People are not machines they are human beings why even have a receptionist if she is too lazy to check you in? I have never liked the receptionist she is cold and borderline rude and lazy. Some time back I spoke to the office manager about the fact that the staff when calling a patient into the exam rooms would only come into the reception area a few feet and call names. I explained that people in the far side of the room could not hear their names being called, especially people like myself who are hearing impaired. The office manager agreed it was a point: how ever nothing was done. I guess the staff are just too lazy and have no respect for their patients. If you want to be treated like a nonperson go to Retnal Consultants, but if you wish to be treated with dignity and respect and want to feel welcome go somewhere else.

I would NEVER accept an appointment at 325pm. 4 pm was appt. I wrote in my calendar while standing there. The care is okay just be prepared for an 1.5 hour appt. I won't be back. The last three times I had appointments they want to fill out a bunch of bs to obviously to kill time while you're waiting, waiting, waiting. If you have time to waste that's the place for you. They have two waiting rooms, you wait for a while in the first one, then see an assistant (or whatever their title is) and then get put in a second waiting room. Right after I sat down in the second waiting room, another patient said, "Yeah, all you do here at this office is wait." I gave it 30 minutes past my appointment time, then told the front desk I couldn't wait any longer. They indicated that it was typical for the doctors to be running behind, and that this length of time was actually "Good for Dr. Gilbert." Not good for me.

When I called the Surgery Center to complain about my hurtful treatment by my nurse I spoke to a very nice nurse at first. Then the nurse manager called me with a bad attitude to start with then she basically said I was lying. I think if they have cameras in the surgery room etc. it would prove I'm telling the truth. Not sure how far I will take this complaint but the abusive nurse and manager should lose their jobs.
