I had this misfortune to see Dr .Wilson on 2/25/21 and am no longer going to be seeing anyone in this practice. Dr. Wilson has is narcissistic, rude and unprofessional. After waiting over a half hour in the chair to have a tooth repaired, when he came into the room, I jokingly stated that he was late and he went a little crazy. He then called me an "asshole" and the office staff came to see what was going on, they started laughing. When I informed Dr. Wilson that he could not speak to me that way, he stated that he could speak to me any way that he wanted and then refused to apologize. I have filed a complaint with the dental association as any doctor should not call any patient, regardless of circumstances, an "asshole" or berate their patients in any form or manner. This type of behavior is unprofessional.

One of the things he wanted to do was pull my teeth down. Not that familiar with this procedure I had no problem with this. However, I am in my mid sixties now and I going to have teeth 7-10 extracted and I am in need of a bridge. $8,600. He pulled my teeth down too quickly. After my experience with Dr Hannon my teeth were beautiful. I went to work in dentistry not long after and slowly my gums looked like they were receding. I had never had periodontal disease. My teeth were very important to me. Working at the front desk at a dentist office, I was very conscious of my smile. Now my teeth are loose and I had to find another dentist after Covid took my job with my long time dentist. She looked at my teeth and ask about any ortho procedures. She ask if I had ever gone to the Sr Dr Hannon not any of his family. She said she had seen this in other patients. Years down the line, this can manifest as gingival recession, exposing the sensitive root surface of the tooth and making them loose. I am not saying this to hurt him in any way. I just think there is a lesson to be learned here. Research or question anything that may be out of the normal. This is as much my fault as his. I did not ask any questions about the procedure long term. I did enjoy a beautiful smile for years, but now I am older with a disabled husband and $8600 is not something I can spend on myself. My husband comes first. I thank Dr Hannon for the years of a beautiful smile. Question your written treatment plan your orthodontist gives you. Understand what is the long term complications that may occur.
