Adana Kabobs
Eric D.

I'm so happy we stumbled upon this restaurant! We were exploring the Mt. Juliet area and were starving. While doing some shopping, we asked someone where we should go to eat and they recommended Tholos. We got there right as another table was leaving, so we didn't have to wait long till we got seated. The aromas that hit us in the dining room were the first indication that we were in for a treat. We started with a hummus plate and that was so delicious, we asked for extra pita bread so we could savor the flavors even longer. Everything on the menu looked amazing and I couldn't choose what to order, so I asked the waiter and he recommended the Adana Kabobs because they were his favorite. Let me just say, I can see why! They were juicy, tender, packed with flavor, and perfectly spiced. They had a little kick at the end, but that just helps to keep things interesting. They were great with their Tzatziki and rice. I wish we lived closer so that we could go all the time. We'll have to go back next time we're in the area.

Amazing restaurant experience. The food was delicious!!!! The service was stellar, and the interior decoration was spot on. We both had the Spaghetti Bolonais, and it was rich & delicious. Our waitress, as I said was stellar,........... she was very helpful as this was the first time in a Mediterranean restaurant. Great recommendations that were just what I needed. Bravo!!!!!! A++++++++++. We will be back!!!!

Lentil Soup (Turkish)

Our gang of 4 enjoyed dine-in lunch at Tholos Mediterranean Restaurant. Earlier, we had only used takeout. I now prefer dine-in based on presentation, portion size, and freshness. Warm, friendly and attentive staff who took the time to explain Tholos' version of Lentil Soup. I single out Lentil Soup that's actually Kurkish Lentil Soup made with Red Lentils and various spices. Most delightful. Also enjoyed Lamb Shish Kabobs cooked medium-rare as ordered with mixed salad, rice and grilled veggies. Enjoyed Spinach Spanakopita appetizer. Others tried Chicken Gyro Wrap, Coban Kavurma, and Falafel Wrap. Right off N Mount Juliet in the Charlie's Place commercial center hidden behind Dunkin' Donuts. Private parking lot. Will return

We stopped here for lunch and were seated immediately. The waiter was kind and helpful with the menu options. He explained the difference of dishes so that I could decide what sounded best to me. I ordered the gyro platter and it came well seasoned and hot when it was delivered. We also got the stuffed eggplant too. It was very good. Nice and seasoned well and savory. I would actually give this place a 4.4, but as we know- yelp doesn't allow partial stars. We will be back

I had the vegan vegetable clay pot (without the rice, it's not vegan) and it was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was fantastic, she clearly explained what was vegan and what wasn't, which I really appreciated. It was my mother in laws 87 birthday and they sang to her. The owner even came by our table to wish my mother-in-law a happy birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and they accommodated for wheelchair and a walker/cane. You have a choice of booth or table seating too. Here's how they accommodated for my food allergies and being vegan. This is how KIND they are, they prepared my own special clay pot due to food allergies and that tells me: they respected my needs, they took me seriously, they didn't treat me like an inconvenience, my food was actually fresh and safe! That' is rare and really sweet!! Thank you!! I can't wait to come back! Highly recommend Tholoes Mediterranean Restaurant. PS: I took over half my food home because there was so much!! Definitely worth coming. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'd love to see even more vegan options, everything else was wonderful. Thank you.

Hot App- Cabbage Rolls with Yogurt. Stuffed with Beef and Rice topped with a Tangy Tomato Sauce. Very good

This mediterranean restaurant just recently opened and I will have to say that we really enjoyed it. It's a small space but the ambiance is nice and the staff were friendly and provided very good service. The food that we got was fresh and very flavorful. The use fresh ingredients and sourced locally, which I like. My wife got a dish called Testi Kabob, which is a Lamb Stew cooked in a clay pot. They brought out the clay pot and poured it in a bowl tableside. She loved it! I got the Mixed Kabob Platter. The Lamb Chop and the Adana Kabob were the stars of the show for me. They offer Cold Apps, Hot apps, Homemade Soup, Main Courses, Pastas, Salads, Vegetarian Plates, Kids Menu, Breads and Desserts. I definitely recommend this place for Mediterranean located in North Mt. Juliet next to the Christmas Place. Enjoy!!

Hidden Gem!! If you like Mediterranean Cuisine, this is the place! First time here and already can say "I'll be back"! It's very new so they haven't got around to really decorate yet, which was fine it was very clean! Of course their service was great and very knowledgeable about the menu! They give tips on what you'd like based on your preferences, we don't live that far from this place so we always pass by, it is always packed since it's been opened, I mean ALWAYS PACKED!! And mind you, they are very new!! So that says something about the food and the service. At this point it's all been word of mouth because they just opened like maybe 2 weeks ago! So, go try this place out, you won't be disappointed!!

Gyro and chicken plate

Portion size galore! We tried this place for lunch and got both of the chicken and the Gyro plate, and had enough to eat on the next day for two people. Service was a little slow, but nothing crazy, and our food came out quickly, so that always helps. It's also really pretty in there!

First came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. The dining area is unfinished as they continues to work on the decor. But it's clean & spacious. The foods were delicious, generous amount and full of flavors. The service was slow initially but once we asked for my mom's tea, which was being freshly brewed, it improved & kept us updated on our orders. The owner even came to our table. Tonight we decided to go back for dessert only. We had planned to get it to go. But once the owner greeted us & started talking about the desserts, that comes with ice cream if dining-in only, we decided to eat in. So glad we did. The ice-cream was amazing. We decided to just sit at the table by the entrance. The owner remembered us from last time, had great conversations with us & made sure we enjoyed our desserts. We did! The baklava is not overly sweet which I love. The katmer was to die for!! Highly recommend NOT to skip on desserts!

I had the Adana wrap and fries. Might be the best fries I've ever had

This place is legit. A hidden gem. I was on my lunch break and looking for a gyro. This place was more than what I expected. It has the feel of a family owned business. The staff was very welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The food was EXCELLENT. There weren't many people there while I was having lunch so maybe the word isn't out yet or they have a bigger dinner crowd? Either way everyone should check them out.

Adana Kabob Plate delicious

I finally made my way over to Tholo's for lunch today and it was delicious! My friend and I shared the hummus appetizer with warm pita, he had the Adana Kabob Plate (ground lamb) and finished every last but of it as did I with my Chicken Gyro with fries! Fresh and authentic. I think they said they are still working on the decor, but the food was great!

This place is new and already getting very popular! This was our first time here and the staff were very pleasant. We waited a bit for a table because it's starting to catch on how good this place is! We ordered the hummus as an appetizer and it came with 2 things of pita bread, it was really good but could've used a little more pita bread. We both ordered the mixed kabob platter so we could try a bunch of different meats. The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection and very tasty! The rice was really good too. We will be back to try more dishes. They are new and still working out the kinks, so be patient, it's delicious!

Service was smooth and attentive throughout our visit. We started with the hummus, which came with fried naan--absolutely delicious and a great way to kick things off. The tea was fresh, and the fresh strawberry juice was divine. You could literally hear them juicing it in the back after ordering, which made it feel even more special--definitely a must-try! For entrees, we tried a variety of dishes. The pork ribs were very tender and well-seasoned, though they leaned more toward a Southern style rather than a Mediterranean herb flavor. Still very good! The Chicken Shawarma Plate was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and both dishes came with incredibly tasty rice that really stood out. The Crazy Burger was HUGE and cooked and seasoned to perfection--definitely come hungry if you order that one. We also got a to-go recommendation from our server: the Santorini's Mixed Grill (lamb chops, beef kabob, chicken kabob, and kofta). WOW--he was absolutely right. It reheated beautifully, and everything was outstanding. The lamb chops were perfection, the beef was excellent, and the kofta seasoning was spectacular. Portions are massive--easily two meals per dish--so you definitely get your money's worth. We left full and already talking about coming back. Safe to say, we've found a new local favorite to add to our rotation. If you're anywhere near Mt. Juliet, Santorini's is well worth the visit

Absolutely the smoothest, fresh made hummus I've had in TN & the pitas tasted fresh too. Chicken swarma wrap was a great lunch bite. The menu wasn't available on their QR code/website, nor did they have any physical menu's to provide full scope and explanation of options which is a huge detriment to someone walking in first time. Because the food isn't Taziki's or other Gyro places that you encounter on a "Mediterranean" search here, they really need to address that. Staff is nice but alittle passive, & it is hard to know what options to ask them without any point of reference other than the few popular items listed on a board by name only. I even checked here, which doesn't have their full line up either. But - if you are adventurous, definitely give this a go! Small but not tight in seating; clean and cute cafe set up.
