I would like to preface this review by saying that I myself work in healthcare, and I understand sometimes disgruntled patients write negative reviews because they're upset about something beyond the doctor's control. However, in this case, I would really recommend avoiding this doctor if you can. At my old job, I had very subpar insurance, so I was assigned Dr. Vincent as my primary care doctor. She was extremely uncaring and borderline rude at times. She refused to refer me to an ear, nose, and throat specialist as well as an allergist, despite the fact that I had been suffering with allergies and sinus issues for years. She actually raised her voice at me and said "why?! So you can have surgery or do you have cancer?" I feel as though that alone highlights her lack of professionalism and compassion. As soon as I got new insurance, I was able to self-refer to the specialists. I ended up needing sinus surgery with three procedures and I'm now on allergy immunotherapy. Also, she once chastised me for putting my purse on the counter and said that since I work in healthcare, I should know better. It was just a really rude thing to say especially since all surfaces should be disinfected between patients! She should honestly retire. I think her patients deserve better. read more

I would avoid this doctor at all costs, especially if you're a young woman over 110 pounds. I booked an appointment with her last year for the sole purpose of getting a referral to specialists because I had changed my insurance and am on active treatment for an autoimmune disease. I was on 60 mg of prednisone when I saw her and steroids is known to cause a ton of unwanted side effects including weight gain. She immediately started associating any sort of pain or health issue I had with my weight (I was and currently am not overweight) when I've told her multiple times that weight gain is normal for steroids - I've been on it multiple times and the weight just sheds off right away when I'm tapering on this medication. She proceeded to tell me I can only eat 1200 calories and some absurdly small amount of sodium a day and gave me a sheet of what I can eat (according to the other reviews it looks like she does this to everyone else). Her office also runs like it's the 1900s so nothing runs off of modern technology. I've seen MANY MANY doctors in my life and this was probably the worst, most unprofessional experience I've ever had with one considering I only needed a specialist referral. I switched doctors immediately and have since lost all of the prednisone weight after tapering off of it as expected. TLDR; If you're not stick thin you're just wasting your time going here because she's just going to associate anything with your weight and provide extremely unhealthy recommendations for your diet. Dr Vincent is not the most diplomatic doctor there is. She is very matter of fact and tell you her professional opinion on your health. So if you are looking for a pampering, nothing is serious and take it easy kind of doctor she is not for you but if you are looking for a no BS, a very thorough and all professional facts and advice doctor then you have found the right doctor ! Tho Vincent is a horrible doctor. My last visit on July 16th she made me feel like I was bothering her. I went in because I had a problem in the back of my throat. She told me a had allergies when I never had allergies in my life. She wanted me to take allerclear for a month. I asked her to refer me to a ear, nose, and throat doctor. Her reply was why do you want to see another, do you want surgery or have cancer. I was in complete shock!! I could believe someone would say something like that. Don't ever go to her. Very rude, and prescribes a bunch of unnecessary procedures. I am sure she gets paid a commission by other doctors for referrals. She prescribed a bunch of unnecessary tests for me. She also did a "routine" EKG, and then told me I needed to see a cardiologist IMMEDIATELY, and that I should definitely not drive home. Thankfully we have a close family friend who is a highly experienced cardiologist. He said there was nothing worrisome on my EKG. She called me the next day and told me that I should not drive and definitely see the cardiologist right away. The cardiologist she recommended works only a few doors away from her. They probably give each other a regular supply of patients. My impression of her is a very rude doctor who uses scare tactics to make extra bucks. read more

I've been going to Dr. Vincent for years. I didn't have any major issues with her until recently. She has terrible bedside manners. Her solution to most of my problems was to lose weight, but she didn't want to write a referral to a nutritionist because "it's a lot of paperwork". She gave bad advice on how to lose weight, recommending a dangerously low calorie count for someone of my size. She's unprofessional. During my last visit, she complained to me that her patients are so "needy" because they had further questions for her. When I said I was concerned about my hearing, she rubbed her fingers together next to my ears and asked if I could hear it, then said that's her hearing test. She also didn't remember me at all as a patient, telling me she'd only seen me once before. I corrected her, and she looked at her paperwork and realized I'd been a patient for several years. I would not recommend this doctor at all. She was OK in previous years, but I would never go to her again. read more

Dr. Vincent is Amazing. My wife has raved how much she liked Dr. Vincent for years. So, breaking tradition, after seeing Dr. Rashid for over twenty (20) years; I went to her about flu symptoms. Wow, I am a believer on how wonder Dr. Vincent is! Dr. Vincent and her staff were absolutely wonderful. She took the time to identify the nature of my symptoms. Taking time to go-over in detail which areas she was concerned about; and came up with a treatment that worked amazingly well. Indeed, my wife was correct: Dr. Vincent is truly a doctor I can say is really good. So good, that I started my 87 year old Mother (new patient) with Dr. Vincent last month. My Mom has Alzheimer's and has lived with us for over seven (7) years and has a merit of health issues. We have seen a lot of Doctors over the last seven (7) years and never have we (my wife and I) seen the type of outstanding services and follow-up received from any OC Doctor. This doctor attributed all of my health issues, including migraine, to my weight. Although she admitted that I'm not overweight, she always hands out a 1200 calories diet sheet to me everytime I see her. She said that recommendation is for everyone to follow. 1200 per day is very low in calorie and it only recommends 3 tablespoon of carbohydrate per meal. That's less than 1/4 cup. It doesn't seem like a sound diet. Don't see her unless you want to have a weight complex. Like Dr. Vincent, I'm Vietnamese. Many Vietnamese think that unless you are skin and bones, you need to lose weight. I remember being 90 lbs in high school and my aunts and mom would tell me to lose weight. I used to go from one fad diet to the next trying to shed pounds. I was plague with this weight complex all my life and refuse to let her put me through it again. If you're a vegetarian, don't see her either. I told her that I've recently cut back on meat and have been eating more soy, diary, nuts, grains, and legumes as sources of proteins. I still eat meat a couple of times a week when I eat out. She is totally against it and say most vegetarian she sees are not healthy. She said tofu is 50% fat and is not good for you either. She suggested that this diet change might have contributed to my migraine (although I've been having migraines for 20 years). She condescended when I admit that I didn't know that migraine is caused by blood vessel dilation. She said she can't believe that someone who have had migraine for twenty years didn't know that. Of course, she didn't know what cause the dilation or how to stop it so it wasn't much help for me to know that. In short, I will be looking for a new doctor. read more

Her unprofessionalism was disappointing and the fact that she blamed her staff for not having the specific paperwork to help me was unheard of. She was very fobby. I asked her specific questions and she didn't understand what I was asking her. When she clearly heard that i work out 5x minimum a week, she proceeded to ignore what i said and lectured me on Fat content in food. She subtly ridiculed me for not knowing how many fat calories are in each food listed on her print-out sheet. Furthermore, there was issues with the insurance billing code that was very frustrating to work out. I was dr. Vincent's patient for many years and was always happy with her. She is very thorough in her work and always calls with test results herself. (Did you know that some drs never bother to call to let you know the results?) Sometimes she would even call me from home to let me know what was going on. If my insurance did not change I would still be her patient. As I am getting older, more stuff I need to pay attention. She always got back to me when I took lab test and told me her analysis. I have never had the displeasure of meeting such a rude person, let alone a doctor. A doctor is supposed to be caring and do whatever they can to help their patients. This one, however, just talks back and sasses her patients as if she is so much more superior. In reality, she provides no useful insight to the patients' problems and after a few basic suggestions that would pop up on the first page of a google search, she throws her hands up and says there's nothing she can do. That may be true in her case, but other qualified doctors would be able to help. I been going to Dr. Vincent for several years now and am almost consistently happy with the level of care I receive from her. She is usually very patient and takes her time explaining what's going on with you and why she recommends treatments. I would give her 5-stars if she were like that 100% of the time, but occasionally she has days when it's like dealing with your typical rushed, condescending HMO physician. I owe Dr. Vincent my very life. She really relies on lab and blood tests, religiously. It was two years ago that she noticed I had a high PSA (prostate specific antigen). This indicated I might have cancer. I went to a urologist for a biopsy and to my dismay I found out I had prostate cancer. We caught it early, thanks for Dr. Vincent's diligence, and I am happy to say I am cancer free. Though I often got annoyed at her constant requests for blood tests, even when I felt fine, I now acknowledge that it was her insistence that caught this dreaded disease before it spread. read more

Dr. Vincent has cared for my father, mother, and my family of 4 for more than 15 years. She is very thorough and spends so much time with her patients explaining everything that I don't think you can find any other doctor like that anymore. She always calls you at home to go over test results, another rarity these days. And she genuintely cares about her patients. I read the other reviews and it is sad that only people who have a problem write reviews. It is true that sometimes her staff of nurses are not the best, but that is normal to most private doctor's offices. I personally have not had any problems with any of them in over 15 years, and I take both my parents to her office, so I have many years of experience with her office and staff. Bottom line, I recommend her 110% to anyone who is looking for a doctor. I think you can not find a better doctor. The only negative I can say about her is the referrals to other doctors she gives you are not always good. She basically sends you to other doctors in the building, and many of them are not as good as she is. But you cannot fault her for that. read more

Went to a Dr to ask on questions on a certain procedure. However, no matter how dumb the question may be, she needs to educate us. Instead she keeps responding with attitude that we don't do certain tests etc. She has horrible bed side manners. It's my wife dr so I try not complain as much, but I notice she typically will respond with sarcastic remarks and has an attitude with her patient during simple discussion. Very impatient and treat us like cattle so she can move on to the cow next door. We are not even debating, just 2 way simple discussion. If I pay my co-pay I'm going to ask my questions, else why do you even exist?? Google has more relevant information than you just inhaling oxygen. I think she get's frustrated when their is any conflicts or when she is just incompetent and can't answer our questions. Anyway, the bottom line here is to stay away!!! i went to her for a regular checkup and to get my hepB vaccination for work. it wasnt the best, the doctor seemed a little absent minded and a bit aloof. but she actually got back to me about the my test results when she said she would. as for the nurses working there i didnt have a problem with them to begin with but i had to go back for my second hepB shot where i wouldnt have to see the doctor but they gave me alot of trouble for no reason. before i left my first visit i asked them multiple times if i needed an appt for the second shot and they said i didnt. i left work early to go get my second shot and just happened to call as a courtesy to let them know i was on my way and the receptionist said it wasnt possible to squeeze me in for the shot. i would HAVE to make an appt for another time. she kept saying that i needed to call beforehand to check if they have the vaccination to which i asked if they had the hepB in stock and she responded YES. then she continued to go on and say that I needed to get my vitals checked before receiving the vaccination (i.e. temperature, blood pressure) and i guess her lazy ass couldnt do that quickly enough if it had to be done. after i kept pushing to just go that day she said i could go and sit in the waiting room for 3-4 hours. i asked to speak to the doctor and she said i could only leave a message. i had never had this problem with any other place when getting the next shot for a vaccination. its always been to just go in and get the second shot and leave. i definitely would not go to these incompetent and lazy people again. read more

she's a nice enough doctor, but she's not very thorough in her work. awhile ago, i came in w/HORRIBLE splotches all over my body..disgusting. i asked to see a dermatologist, but she was convinced it was this one thing that is highly contagious. i said that my husband didn't have it, but she didn't seem to care about that. in any case, i had bloodwork done to make sure it was this one thing, but she was wrong. she left me a message giving me the name of a dermatologist to see. meanwhile i had been living w/these splotches for over a week! i saw her about a month of so later for another dermy issue, and she didn't even bother to ask about what happened w/the splotches. i think she was embarrassed b/c she had been adamant about her incorrect diagnosis that she didn't even bother to ask about it later. btw, this second time i saw her, she barely looked at my bumps on my hands before she handed me a prescription and that was that. i have since found a new, much friendlier, more concerned doctor. read more
