Our project was to replace our ancient iron plumbing with Pex/copper. The problem being that we are on a slab foundation and our attic space is very limited. I had a couple of good prospects to do the job but I gave it one more shot and eventually called Thistle Plumbing. Frank came that same day and I could tell we were working with a professional plumber with years of experience. We walked through the project and he identified some issues we might have during the project, but nothing that couldn't be resolved. We were then contacted by Brian, the owner, with a reasonable estimate. Frank and Juan came out the next week and spent 4 days on the project (even Brian came by to pitch in for a day). They were respectful and neat, always cleaning up for them selves. Frank also identified a few issues we had previous plumbing issues and worked to resolve them. The project has been completed for over a month without any issues, but if anything develops I know Thistle Plumbing will be there to take care of it. It's always a great feeling when you hire a service company that has all the qualities you want, attentiveness, professionalism, all without taking short cuts. Was out enjoying myself in Joshua Tree when I got a frantic call from the HOA. My water heater had ruptured, and needed immediate repair. Calling around to other plumbers, during this holiday season, had extended, weeks out, wait times. I got lucky. Brian had an open space the next day. He was more than prompt, a few minutes early, and immediately started working to fix the problem. Where my hot water heater is, a very tight space, requiring a lot of extra work. He did not complain at all about the extra work that ended up being done. Both he and his assistant were friendly, professional, with big smiles, and educated me on issues found, (like pipes that were about to fail, deeply corroded...yikes!), which he then replaced , throughout the repair. Super knowledgeable and he was there to fix a couple of sinks that the handles were broken or installed incorrectly and also we had a recirculating pump that was making a thumping sound through the pipes all night long that was making me crazy.
