Others in my party were already excited upon hearing the intention to come here for dinner - and it did not disappoint! Thirteen Pies has a short and simple menu but everything is done well. For a party of seven we ordered four 15 inch pizzas, and two orders of wings. It was the perfect amount of food for us but for big appetites another pizza might be needed. Food came out after only a short wait and it was piping hot - so no complaints there. Unfortunately the place was packed - and they do not have any plexiglass partitions between tables and appeared to have tables less than arm's reach away - so if you're weary of a crowd plan to order takeout. Staff wore masks and patrons were responsible, so that is a plus. We were also excited about the drinks - if you want something fruity and refreshing I recommend Seoul Train or Going Fishing, and if you're a serious fan of ginger then the Dark & Stormy is a must. The Mars Attack was the most notable pizza for me - the pesto sauce is light and not too oily, allowing the veggie toppings to shine through. You need to be a garlic lover to fully enjoy this pizza - full cloves are roasted right on top giving the whole pizza an aromatic and strong flavour. My party also greatly enjoyed White Walker, Hitchcock, and Bridge City Butcher - each had their own unique flavours and offered something interesting. If you're looking for a white sauce pizza that will flood you with mushroom (truffle!) flavour - White Walker will not disappoint at all. For something familiar, the meat lovers' Bridge City Butcher had amazing bacon that brings it all together. Hitchcock stood out to me as a satisfying chicken on pizza - so often we find plain chicken breast on pizza but this offers flavourful, chunky barbecue chicken atop your pizza. The wings were super crispy, although they're not tossed in the sauces the salt and pepper seasoning is well done and a great addition to the naked wings. The atmosphere is hip and quite comfortable - it was busy but in a positive way. It can get quite loud depending on the surrounding patrons and party sizes, but it isn't too loud yet. For those that don't enjoy dim lit dining, this won't be comfortable - but try asking for a window seat and that will be better. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm here!

Great service, love the single stall washrooms, amazing pizza which can be vegetarian accommodated, and great drink options.
