It has a great atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. One of our favorite nights to go is Thursday, when they offer a charcuterie board and two glasses of wine special, perfect for a casual evening out. The selection is well done and pairs nicely with their drinks. What really sets this place apart, though, are the people. The bartenders are fantastic, and the owner and his partner are incredibly friendly and outgoing. They genuinely make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first visit. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great drinks, friendly faces, and a welcoming vibe, Schertz Creek Bier Garten is hard to beat.

He was playing do a wrangled up my wife, Maria and we went. This place is a bit hidden, by the walls that cover the seating area, outdoors. They have an indoor bar, very welcoming staff. Full bar, liquor and beer. Nice indoor area, cool inside. Very open area, and very clean. Great atmosphere. We sat outside to watch Mark Berry play. They have a trailer for a stage, very country, lol. No hay bales to sit on, so it's not too country. Plenty of seating, picnic tables, outdoor bar. You can sit on the patio, or out over the grass. They have two ramps to get up to the indoor bar, good lighting for the stairs. The bathrooms are clean, four rooms, one is a family bathroom and the other three have unisex bathroom signs. We will definitely go here again. A decent beer selection. And I got to smoke a cigar outside. I brought my own.

I've been to this bar twice, and have really enjoyed it each time…read more First, it's got a small and cozy feel, yet it's never busy enough to feel crowded or that people are in your personal space. Second, the music is loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud that you have to shout to be heard. And, last but certainly not least, is the service! I believe her name is Deztiney, the bartender that has been there both times! She is friendly and welcoming and makes a GREAT old fashioned, and everything else for that matter. I was with a friend who doesn't drink alcohol unless it's in a frozen cocktail, and since that wasn't an option she made her a pretty "mocktail" that was delicious. Having a food truck option and The Purple Pig next door makes this a great inexpensive "dinner and drinks" option for a chill evening. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that they have the most reasonably priced (and tasty!) drinks that I've ever had.
