I've never had the opportunity to try tea with jelly or boba: what they call a Bubble Tea. I had the honey jasmine honey green tea with aloe jelly. It comes in a plastic cup with a heat sealed lid that you poke your extra large straw through, like a grown up capri sun. Amazing good food and friendly staff! I'm from Taiwan where boba tea originated and it is surprising to find such a store in Nebraska. I ordered two onigiris and the Grinch. I wouldn't say they are authentic but I would say it is a nice fusion of the western style with Asian food. The staffs were as nice and patient as most of the staffs in restaurants I met in Omaha. Damn Omaha, nice work. After living in Seattle, with the likes of ThirstTea, which is AMAZING, this little gem in midtown is pretty great and very similar. I do wish they had honey milk tea, which is pretty standard at the bubble tea places I've been at. But otherwise, they have a bunch of options and I will be back. This place is great, to be quite honest. Good bubble tea is hard to come by, but this place does more than just great bubble/boba tea - it does hot tea and tea slushes alongside some great snacks. I have only tried the shrimp tempura onigiri so far, but it was amazing. I recommend the Strawberry Slush, Lovely, and Green Tea popping boba. My fiancee and I stopped in here for a quick bite before heading down to an event at the CLink. Ambiance wise, it is decent- a bit of industrial bareness meets modernity. Food wise, we ordered the gyoza, takoyaki, and Spam onigiri. My better half scarfed the gyoza down- I did get a bite and it was very good- just the right amount of bite. The onigiri was just as expected- seaweed and rice with spam in the middle. This means delicious to me btw. I've never had takoyaki before and have always wanted to try it- I was not disappointed at all. I could probably eat three dozen of the things and not blink an eye. Sadly, we did not actually try any of the bubble teas but by the look of the board they have a nice variety. We will surely be back. read more

Overhyped and overpriced. Low quality drinks with even lower quality service. I asked for my drink to be blended which they charge 75 cents more for PLUS TAX. My drink came out not blended and apparently was not rung in as requested so I was told by the girl that made the drink that I need to go pay the 75 cents plus tax to get my drink blended and I had to get back into a long line and wait to reorder my drink. The guy at the register at least apologized so the one star in my rating is for him. I can respect the way a business wants to run things but if you mess up, at least make it right not inconvenience the customer. With so many options for quality boba tea in the area now, I won't be going back to this one. Looking forward to getting Kung Fu Tea or Jones Bros from now on. read more

Loved my first time here! The vibe, service, and drinks my friends and I got were perfect. Sad that I have to drive all the way to Omaha, but it's worth it! In my boba/bubble tea experiences in Nebraska, the tapioca pearls are always hard, the teas are just ice, and just tastes gross. Thirst-tea's was creamy and the pearls were soft! Reminded me of the time I lived in Houston. I highly recommend the Taro Milk Tea and I forgot the name of it exactly, but it's U3 on the menu. Will be coming back for more soon! read more

Special, fun treat! Certainly didn't expect this to taste so good. I got mango tea with popping bubbles. Then I tried the strawberry peach with popping bubbles. My husband liked the honeydew milk with the other boba the best. Makes me want to look for these special treats in other towns we visit. A unique experience. The teas are good and like what you see in Los Angeles. Sweet and lots of options to choose from. The food is hit and miss. The gyoza are awful (chewy, underfilled and deep fried) but the spam onigiri and takoyaki are good and I've gotten them a number of times. I wish they would scrub down their furniture and floors better. They went with white, space like furniture but it is falling apart, gross and needs a good bath and repair. The doors need to be repainted and baseboards need to be cleaned up too. But, the tea is good and I think it is the best place to get Boba in Omaha right now read more

It's a shame that people will only write reviews when they have a bad experience. The people that work here and the products that they sell are all 5 stars out of 5. The drinks take only minutes to make, unless there's a whole bunch of people in there, then of course they'll take longer. It's like that at any drink place, though, so that's to be expected. The staff was very nice and had no problem explaining what the different drinks were. The tea was just as good as the Boba Tea Company's tea. I always get the black mango boba tea with the clear tapioca (the kind that burst and adds flavor). This time I forgot to specify and was given the chewy black tapioca. Lesson: make sure you tell them what kind you want. Compared to other boba tea places, the prices were amazing. the price of a small at Boba Tea Company is the price of a large here. I ordered the honey green tea with pearls. The boba was cooked well and the drink is not overly sweet. Most of the time, when the simple parts are made correctly, I personally will feel safe ordering other drinks. And I definitely feel safe returning to try their other drinks in the future. I would really like though, if they added grass jelly! The staff here are friendly, the drink was made quickly, and the place looks nice and clean. I love this place! It's the only place in Nebraska, that I am aware of, that offers onigiri and takoyaki, which are so delicious. Their prices are also very reasonable for food items. Their boba drinks are tasty, too, though I'm from SoCal, so I'm super picky having grown up with boba shops all around me. I love Thirst-Tea! It's amazing! You have to be adventurous though. Going to Thirst-Tea with a closed mind is not going to end with an enjoyable experience. There are three "bubbles" you can get with your drink: boba (which is black and is kind of squishy when you bite into it), jelly (little cubes of jelly), or popping boba (when you bite into it, a little squirt of juice is released).
