Bubble tea

Good bubble tea--refreshing, flavorful, and just the right sweetness. Definitely worth a try!

Best bubble tea mural ever!

Woot! So glad to find this sister location for the spot I already knew in Midtown. They will gladly switch around flavors/boba from what is listed on the menu, so I was pleased to wind up with a peach black tea with traditional boba and it was lovely. I suspect most people get their food to go, but there is seating available and a terrific boba tea mural ??!! on the west wall.

For a midwest boba cafe, it's alright. I really like jasmine milk teas, so I'm always searching for it at bubble tea places. Normally, I wouldn't stop by to get a milk tea, but my boyfriend and I happened to find $15 dollars on the ground while we were loading up groceries. We got two drinks for $10.20, so the price isn't terrible, but it is still considered a treat.

This place is awesome! Hidden in an older little strip mall area, this really is one of those hidden gems you hear about! The place quickly filled up with a big line after we had arrived. Which seemed like a great sign! Had a cool mural on their wall which is a big eye catcher as soon as you walk in! Decently priced and well worth the small wait! I had a Chai Tea with boba and it was like tasting a craft store in a cup! Amazing!

My daughter loves boba and has been looking for a place in Omaha or Lincoln to try onigiri, so we were so excited to try out thirst tea! I love that it's easy to get to with plenty of parking. There was lots of available tables and seating when we walked in at lunchtime. The drink menu is extensive and they had our favorites (taro milk tea with boba, and strawberry milky with boba). I really liked that there were two different sizes of boba - a lot of places only have one large size. For the onigiri we ordered the yoshi, spam, and shrimp tempura. My daughter liked the shrimp tempura the best, and I liked the spam. They come nicely wrapped up so they would be perfect to take in a lunchbox if you're not eating there. They also come with a side of sauce that is slightly spicy (it was too spicy for my daughter but I loved it). While we were there we also ordered some edamame and soft serve ice cream. The ice cream comes in a cup or cone and they have several toppings to choose from. My 4 year old got a taro and coconut swirl in a cup with Oreos and strawberry pocky. I loved the flavor of the ice cream, and can't wait to try a charcoal and matcha swirl next time!

Stopped in for some boba chai tea today. Service was good, fast and the chai bobba was very tasty. Been to the midtown location but today was my first time here on 76 and Dodge. Was all good.

This is the second thirst tea location to open in Omaha (the first one is in Midtown Crossing). The location is right next to the Asian Market, which is both smart of them and convenient to all of us. With this addition and Meisu Cafe next door, I am hoping the whole area turns into a little Asiatown. Wouldn't that be so cool?? This Thirst Tea has easy and free parking, but weird that the different locations have different availability for the menu. This location has soft serve, but no traditional teas. Apparently Midtown has the opposite. I feel that if an item is not served at the location, it should not be on the menu. Also, with competitors yumchaa and kungfu tea within a 5-10 min drive, its tough to love them as much as I used to when they were the only option. I think in order for them to stay popular they should really consider adding "sugar customization" to their drinks. I'm still a fan, but I would like to see some improvements and growth for this awesome tea franchise.

Tiger Milk Boba

Definitely our new favorite Boba place in town! We live in Elkhorn so we rarely make the drive East especially if it's just for drinks. After having Thirst Tea, we will definitely be making the drive to get the Boba here. Came in on a Saturday afternoon at 3 and even at that time there was a steady stream of traffic. They whip up Boba faster than any place we've previously been (in all fairness, only 3 other places). It's obvious they have a system and run like a well oiled machine. My girls got a mix of mango slushy bobas, dragon fruit tea boba, and I got the Tiger Milk boba. All the flavors were great, however, our unanimous favorite was the Tiger Milk Boba. I've had it in different places and states and it's honestly the right mix of sweet, flavor, and bubbles here. I think my girls wished they would've gotten the same thing :) Only drawback was the food came out significantly later than the bobas which is understandable, however, we didn't care for the chicken wings. Would've liked them MUCH crispier. Eggs rolls were fine too. I would say stick to the Boba if you come here. You can for sure expect me and my crew to be back!

I tried the ice cream and really enoyed it (got the Charcoal and the Thai Iced Tea). I think would be cool if they offered a "small" size as the cheapest entry point is $5 for ice cream (I think). If I'm in the area, I would come back.

After catching dinner nearby, I decided to have a dessert tea at this location. Thirst Tea Cafe does not allow for inside seating, you approach the front counter, look at the hot or cold drinks, and make your choice. I went with U8: Bruce Lee with lychee. It's dark with a passion fruit taste that allows smal pieces of lychee to float into your mouth and creates an enjoyable after meal liquid fruit that isn't overly sweet. I noticed snack food is available to order besides the drinks and ice cream. It's similar to the Kung Fu tea down 72nd and Pacific but more to offer in variety in my opinion. Overall, a good stop on a week night in Midtown Omaha.

Vanilla charcoal soft serve with matcha pocky & oreo crumb

So excited that they finally opened..., been dying waiting for them to open since last year :D Love it too that I don't have to walk too much to get to them like at the Midtown location, which is really helpful in extreme weather conditions or when you have kids. They also have a graffiti art work on one of their walls which pretty cool (according to my son :)). Menu wise, they have all of the drinks and snacks that they serve in the Midtown location with additional soft serve ice cream which they don't have there. We tried the vanilla charcoal flavor with red velvet cone and we are not disappointed, it was gone within 5 minutes... However I must say $7.13 (after tax with $0.50 extra for additional topping) is kinda pricey for a dessert. They are definitely going to be my new go to location for sure as I know that they have good bubble teas and they close to my house too :).

The tea was great and our order was ready very quickly! It feels like a newer business but I'm sure they will grow into their space!

Food was great. Service was awful. Probably won't be back. Kind of a bummer. The tea is good. Food is good. Bad service.

I paid just a little over $9 for both items. I couldn't believe it! I wish this was a place where I can just sit and take in the smells as I enjoy my coffee, but there is no seating as this is more of an actual store that also serves coffee. However, that won't stop me from being a regular visitor!

I ordered a flight so I was able to sample for different signature flavors. My favorite was the Midnight Coconut and Crème Brûlée. There are three flavors of smoothies to choose from: mango, wild berry, and strawberry. The Crescent Brûlée is a blend of caramel and vanilla, topped with whipped cream and a burnt sugar top. Both of the drinks we had tasted good. I'm not a big smoothie person--in fact, this is my first time ordering a smoothie in a long time--and I was very pleased with it. It was very smooth. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion: coffee, tea, matcha, seasonal lattes, energy drinks, as well as some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciated how easy it was to read their menu. I feel like a lot of the time in coffee shops, their menus are all over the place and you have to ask a lot of questions. This menu was nicely written. The shop has a very welcoming vibe, with different plants and displays. They also sell a few different things, such as clothes, sage, stickers, and different stones. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop, and I will definitely be back.

The location on 204th Street in Gretna is clean, open, inviting ... but noisy. It's one of those warehouse-type settings where you really have to work at having a private conversation. Seating is expecially comfortable in the big chairs, but then you have to schootch them close together and lean in so you can hear each other, which is unfortunate. Granted, tables are set far apart, but this should be in addition to. Coffee was delicious, but the beignet bites were just so-so. Granted, one should not expect New Orleans beignets outside of New Orleans, but these little donut puffs had only a light dusting of powdered sugar (which I actually was thankful for because I wore black pants!), and there was a not-overly-pleasant surprise inside with an indistinguishable creamy substance that was sort of like the inside of a brown sugar cinnamon poptart, only less so. I hadn't been expecting that. The yogurt parfait was substantial and delicious. (The staff was friendly and helpful when making selections, but it didn't occur to me to ask about fillings.) I might visit again, but maybe at one of the other locations, if acoustics were more promising.

The Mill Coffee & Tea on Leavenworth absolutely nails what a great coffee shop should be…read more I stopped in with my daughter, Samantha, and the whole experience was most excellent. I ordered a cortado, and it was outstanding--smooth, balanced, with subtle hints of cherry and a clean finish on the back end. Easily one of the better cortados I've had. I paired it with their "hippy" scone, which was flavourful and satisfying without being overly heavy; it had lots of nuts and fruits in it. Samantha went with the almond cream croissant and a cookie butter latte, and she loved both--especially the rich almond flavour in the croissant. Safe to say she made a solid choice. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a coffee shop: calm, low conversation, and welcoming without feeling sterile or pretentious. It's the kind of place you can sit, think, read, or just enjoy your drink without distraction. On top of that, the bathrooms were clean and presentable, which always matters to me. Always check the bathroom out first before staying. If it is clean, it's a go. If the bathroom is dirty, don't stay. One thing that really sets this place apart is the variety. Beyond great coffee and pastries, they also offer beers and spirits at the bar, plus teas, bulk coffee, and all kinds of coffee/tea-related items. Food-wise, you've got plenty of options too--bagels, quiche, egg bites, soups, and more. They just need to stock up on more bagels and carrot cake muffins; they sold out too quickly. Bottom line: whenever I'm in the area, I make a point to stop here. It's consistent, welcoming, and delivers on both quality and atmosphere every time. Highly recommend.
