Came here for the schnitzel, which was super lightly breaded and tender, delicious brown butter…read moresauce with umami from the anchovies and capers in the sauce. The accompanying potato salad was light and vinegar/olive oil based rather than mayo based, which was a nice contrast to the rich brown butter sauce. Ambiance is super cute, exposed beams and brick, the old Noma spot. Great date night. Waiters were friendly and recommended their cider (specifically made for Barr) which reminded us of a sour + an orange wine. Spaeztle with chanterelle mushrooms was very savory, a little too rich for my liking but my partner loved it. One minor issue we had was the brown crab dish's crab was overpowered by the bitter char on the romaine lettuce, and I thought too little crab per bite.

The biggest draw here is probably the location. Being in Noma's former space naturally creates…read morecertain expectations, but it's important to walk in understanding that this is not Noma, and the experience doesn't try to be. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal, but nothing truly stood out. The food was good, not great. We ordered the schnitzel, which was perfectly serviceable, but not particularly memorable or elevated in a way that justified the buzz surrounding the restaurant. It felt more like a solid neighborhood meal than a destination dining experience. The service was where the experience fell a bit flat for us. This isn't unique to this restaurant, but we've found much of Scandinavia's dining culture to be less hospitality-driven than what we're accustomed to elsewhere. The staff was polite enough, but there wasn't much warmth, engagement, or effort to create a memorable experience. It felt more transactional--food arrives, you're checked on occasionally, and that's about it. The atmosphere is pleasant, and we certainly didn't leave disappointed. We enjoyed our evening and had a nice meal. That said, given the history of the space and the reputation that comes with it, we left feeling that the experience didn't quite live up to the expectations. Worth a visit if you're curious about the location, but not a place I'd go out of my way to revisit.

A beer for my tired feet and some wifi for my charged laptop. It's a neat little underground craft…read morebeer bar. A number of high top tables and some comfier seats arranged with some privacy and a "nook and cranny" sort of thing. Comfy! A dozen taps with the usual sorts of beers. Most of them local and limited release but they do have a small bottle shop with imported beers if you'd prefer that. I enjoyed my beer here! Neat stop!

First impression: This place is a little too cosy to be a beer place, maybe a cafe would be more…read moresuitable, but then we all know that we should never judge a book by its cover. Taplist is very decent, although not that adventurous, they have the usual names on the list, and some really good beer list. There was Rasputin from De Molen brewery when I was there, a very good stout. Another plus for the bar is probably that they have a stack of board games you could borrow, and that there is a "mini" bottle shop, stocked with some Belgian beers and selections of Amager Bryghus. Service is top-notch, there's nothing I can't complain. I feel that the target for this bar is just for people who want to try different beer out, without having to mingle with snobbish beer nerds like in "more serious" places like Mikkeller or Taphouse nearby. It's good "entry-level" bar so to speak and the location in Strædet is also perfect for tourists to sample how "hygge" and "beer" can be combined.

They put the D-I in dive bar. As in if you are gonna die, not a bad place to be. Very local joint…read more Friendly regulars or maybe they're were just lite at 2 in the afternoon. No grub just suds And alcohol. Downstairs is the official fan boy room of Tottenham soccer. WiFi heisted from someone nearby. It kept going out causing the "IT team" to huddle around a labyrinth of wires stuck to an series of boxes with cables rising to a milk carton mounted in the ceiling. That was holding the projector. As it turns out, a Portuguese channel seemed-to be the most consistent. Causing the locals to all laugh at hearing their favorite players announced on a foreign language. But family friendly and very warm folks down there. They made #1 feel like part of the team. We left well before halftime with the fan favorites up 3 nil. Considering it was Christmas and everything local was closed. We savored this slice of local life, if only for a couple of hours

Adding this to my list of CPH beer spots which has been neglected lately. Tap selection is heavy on…read morethe Carlsberg and Tuborg, but still includes plenty of other options. Not so focused on microbrew as some other dedicated beer bars in Copenhagen, but they have a selection of Mikkeller and Nørrebro Bryghus beers. They have a rotating tap selection and being December, it is filled with Christmas beer. They also have an extensive bottle selection which you'll just have to see for yourselves, because I can't recall them all and some I've never heard of. Big space, lots of seating, efficient service, and a laid-back local feel without degenerating into a dive bar. There were a few strange characters on a Friday night, but I think this was mostly due to julefrokost season leaving some very drunk folks very early in the evening. I can't wait to go back in the summer and enjoy the waterside views.

Café Langebro - I reckon this is a less touristy place for coffee and beer. There are plenty of beers on tap.
