I just started drinking beer and this is an awesome place to go! The That's Gold, Golden Kolsh is my favorite. Andy, the owner is great and seems very passionate about this brewery. This place is awesome. I stopped in here to use my 2018 pub pass and was pleasantly surprised. It is a giant tap room on St Paul ave. The inside is awesome and there is FREE parking! It's a totally urban spot and it was filled with people when I went in at 2:00 pm on a Friday! Most Breweries aren't open this early in Milwaukee, so Third Space is the best spot to go if you're looking to get an early start to the weekend. I loved it here. Went to third space for their beer school class...which was great...included with the fee was a beer from the tap. Asked the bartender for a sample of one of the beers before choosing my full pour to which he said he couldn't because they didn't have any sample cups left. However I clearly saw the sample cups in the holder on the wall behind him. I picked a beer and moved on, but later I addressed the fact that they were indeed not out of sample cups so why was he not able to give me one. To which he said that it was up to the bartender's discretion and that he felt all the beers were good so "just pick one". Now i understand that we all have bad days, however that rubbed me the wrong way and truly kind of ruined the experience of my night. I frequent many craft breweries and love the fact that they make the experience so personable and understand that not every beer they make is for everyone...therefore offering samples before making someone commit to a full pour of something. I also have been to Third Space many times before and have not experienced any issues on this topic before so it really made me feel uncomfortable and not valued as a customer. read more

Stopped in here after walking past. Visited 4 breweries in Milwaukee and this was our first and favorite. There is a huge selection of beers and the flavors are so different and interesting. None we tried were boring. We started off with 2 flights and tasted 8 beers. Highly recommended starting off that way. Then we tasted some that they suggested based on our taste or just to try. All were great. Bought a few 6 and 4 packs to take home. Definitely will be back. read more

Third Space has a fantastic open space that is good for large parties. Their beer is always fantastic. I love that there is space indoors to plan Bags. Outside there is an authentic mexican food truck (at affordable prices i.e. $2 tacos). read more

Good lord. Let me start by saying, wow. I don't write reviews unless I'm moved by the facility (which is rare to be honest) and we missed a brewery tour elsewhere to hangout afterwards to ask follow up questions. I'll task anyone reading this with the following "challenge"... go to this tour and think about anything else. This is incredibly captivating. Tbh I'm spoiled because I bought a ticket to a random showing and the master brewer showed us around. Our tour guide seemed ostensibly good at drinking. By far my favorite brewery in Milwaukee. Their craft beer as well as their space is incredible. The outside area has lots of benches to sit down and sometimes there will be a food truck outside too. I highly recommend the Happy Place as a starter drink to your Third Space experience. read more

What a fun Sunday afternoon spot. We stopped for some beers and played some games. I had the stout and java mocha porter. I absolutely loved the porter, tasted just like coffee. I wish they would have had more of a selection but the beers they did have on tap, we're awesome. If you're staying for awhile, go to the back area. They have board games, large jenga and bags! A genuine compliment for a small craft brewery: the beer is actually good. Delicious, consistent, friendly, I'm a fan! It's your typical warehouse brewery set up, dogs allowed (yay!), and the food available is either frozen pizza or other small snacks, so if that's not your thing, bring your own or get it delivered. A beautiful fall day so we sat outside... loved the Brewmasters toast at 5 on friday... and then $1.00 pints until the tap ran out. i cannot imagine a better way to start the weekend. We ordered the flights.. sampled them all. All were quite good... love the skotch ale! Very mixed crowd.. young people with their kids..a few of us older people. They play great music (80's).. and they have games outside (bags) too. A food truck was parked there.. savory crepes. Cant remember the name.. maybe blue cow creperies. anyway.. The crepes were delicious... amazing. I had the vegetarian one and ended up having to share reluctantly with my group! A lot of room inside when the weather turns colder.. so we will absolutely be back! read more

I'm a little bit in love with this brewery. They have great beers (Happy Place definitely brings me to my happy place), friendly staff, a beautiful beer garden, and even room to host events. They do hold tours (they make announcements when you are there). There are food trucks/stands outside, and they do provide a few snack from local food joints. They are still working out some kinks since they are new (the bar gets crowded, obviously, and there is no "order" as to how people should line up, so some people were getting upset). But it is really great, and the locals must think so too because it was PACKED! It's pretty big, with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Outside has picnic tables and lighting, which I think would be really cool in the summer. I noticed a few parties (one was a baby shower and one was a birthday). They even have a play area for kids! So...everyone gets to have fun. And who wouldn't love that? read more

wow, this place was packed! I don't know if there was a special reason or what, but it was filled up. Parking was difficult to find and deal with. Other than that, the beer is great! They managed the lines very well, and they had a boatload of food trucks parked out front. If you are early for a ball game, or in the area, I totally recommend coming in for a pint! read more

Had a birthday party here on the loading dock for a group of 40. Communication was great, space was fantastic and bartenders were friendly and super accommodating. Parking was also convenient. Cornhole kept the guests entertained. Highly recommended! Great value. read more

Too packed to get a beer, too loud to hold a conversation, and for some reason people are showing up with their kids. Uncomfortable metal seats from a discount Ikea left me standing on their bare concrete floors. Do yourself a favor and pick up their beers elsewhere. read more

Not one of the best breweries in the area. It is a huge place but there is a lot to b desired. They ran out of cheese curds and mustard for their pretzels. (The mustard was Koop's that you can get at a grocery store). The beers were so so. I had "unite the clans". They only have 5 beers on tap. read more

Beer is excellent (full disclosure: I've only ever had the Upward Spiral, but friends have had the Midwest pale ale and the kolsch, and gave both high marks). Third Space is one of those brewers that can do no wrong! Every single beer I have had has been brewed to perfection. There are so many breweries in this town that don't seem to be able take their beer to this level let alone all of their beers. I always have to have a Happy Place but can never stop myself from trying a few others. The space is really well done. It's great to be open to the brewery and the large space is awesome. Love the outdoor area as well. Plenty of room for everyone! You can bring in your own food or have something from one of the weekend food trucks. Worth a stop for sure! read more

Tried Upward Spiral on tap at a local restaurant and felt the need to check this place out. Tried a flight with random suggestions from the bartender. They were all good. Should be coming back here soon enough. Overall, cool atmosphere and great beer! Try Upward Spiral. It's by far my favorite local beer. Wish they sold six packs of it. read more

The beers are great so far! The new Unite the Clans brew is super yum! Third Space Brewing is quickly becoming one of my new favorite places to tailgate, also. Their outdoor BIG screen, tailgate games and off-the-street parking spaces big enough to set-up and grill, make it a rare gem in the city. Great Brewery with a small selection of microwaveable food. I truly e hit this place. The Golden beer is my favorite. Very smooth taste. They do offer tours on the weekend for 10 bucks but that comes with 2 beers and a take home glass so it's totally worth it if that's your thing. Kid friendly too. Stopped in with my son after moving my daughter to a new apartment. He had been here once before and said it was good. Located in an industrial area bunt easy to access and find. Nice set up so you can see all the equipment as you enjoy your beer. Tried the grisette which was very good along with the kolsch. Came back the next day and tried the Java Blanca which was surprisingly good for a coffee beer that looks like a regular beer. Will be back each trip to Milwaukee to check Out what is on tap and to enjoy the outdoor seating. read more

I really enjoyed my first experience here. The beer was very good and impressive. The stout was my favorite. Also had a flight and tried everything, really couldn't go wrong with any choices. My only complaint which is just a general comment on customer service. As we approached the bar the woman never even said hello or greeted us. We made the first initiative to say hi and she never said what can I get you. We just ordered, then when she thought she poured the wrong beer she was very apologetic and poured another to make sure correct so her service was good. I just feel in this line of work a simple hello is nice when you work in customer service. read more

Beer was good. Entrance was difficult to find. Bartender cut my friend of after two beers because she thought he was drunk. He was just squinting because he has bad eye sight. She had him drink water and then proceeded to serve him again...I tried to reassure her he was not intoxicated nor driving. He took it all in stride. read more

LOVE the beer at this place. They have some of the best barrel aged stouts I've ever had, particularly Nexus of the Universe. The bar itself is super nice and has a huge beer selection and great atmosphere as well as a nice outdoor patio. The Fall/Winter beer release parties is really fun as well. I recently held my graduation party at Third Space. I am SO glad I did. Everything was wonderful. The space was perfect for my 40(ish) guests and the bartenders were fantastic! They are extremely flexible and were willing to accommodate all our requests. I really appreciated that we could bring in our own catering. My guests loved the beer as well.
