This was our second time eating here. We wanted to do takeout and remembered it was good. We picked it up friendly staff but found the pizza to be very disappointing one ham one mushroom per slice with a glob of sauce on top not even on the crust. The dough was not cooked all the way through. Maybe they were having off night? $30 And with the extra service charge you should probably have a quality product every time.

Major let down from expectations. In town on business and ordered pizza and cheesecake. Pizza was only mediocre. Cheesecake was disappointing with cost/value. It wasn't bad. Just wasn't anything to go back for.

Food is good and it's so big, I've never had to wait for a table. the service is good and helpful, I like that they have gluten-free options it can get kind of roady on big game nights but besides that it usually quiet (I won't lie this last time we were there the burger had SO much blue cheese which was weird because it's never been like that when we have ordered it before so if you don't LOVE blue cheese I don't recommend this burger lol)

Juangiovanni (spelling?- Jay!) was one of the best servers we have ever had! He spent so much time making sure we nailed our order and beers, took some lovely pics for our anniversary, gave some additional great recommendations for activities and was all around just a really fun person to chat with. We will be back for the Jeffery AND for Jay!

Came here for my friend's birthday, got some drinks which were really good, my burger was exceptional (even though I was a little thrown off by the color of the bun) and their Margarita Pizza is my absolute favorite. Service was a little slow considering we were one of the only groups of people in the restaurant, but we weren't in a hurry so it was fine. My friend is OBSESSED with their bread sticks and went back the next week to order them again. Inside is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I recommend you try out their pizza Buffett.

Good pizza reasonably priced. Casual place. Good service. Large selection of local craft beers. I enjoyed the dinner.

Food ~ Delish! Ordered Cesar salad (dressing was interesting taste more like an Italian), coastal bread - Highly Recommend & calzone. Went for lunch was not busy, booth we were sat at had big ripe in seat & it was dirty :( disappointing. Used restroom while at restaurant it was not clean. Cleanliness needs impertinent. I hope kitchen is cleaner... Would not get the Cesar again, however coastal sticks and calzone were good.

Someone who is tourist in Michigan , and wants to try authentic Detroit Style pizza in Marquette, would highly recommend this place Great service. We had the pot roast and the pesto pizza - both were phenomenal and hit. the. spot. Ambiance is cute, kinda sports bar-y but with nicer food. Our server was Devon and despite being extremely busy, he was so efficient and overall did a great job. He deserves a bonus!!! read more

We were in for a late lunch around 2pm on 5/19/25. Our sandwiches were mediocre, our fries cold, and the "Pot Roast Poutine" appetizer a disaster. The service was beyond slow; our server completely forgot our drink order. We won't be returning. read more

I'm only reviewing the pizza here: 5/5, full stars, the best Detroit style I've ever had AND the best gluten free crust my friend has had. We got it to go, so dine in or eat other stuff at your own risk -- but the Detroit style and GF pizzas from Third Coast have me wanting to drive back up to the UP just for a meal. read more

This was my third visit to Third Coast Pizzeria. I love this place. The Detroit pan pizza is amazing. My second favorite was the margarita pizza. They offer a lunch buffet M-F ? 11AM to 2PM. The buffet has make your own salad, bread sticks, a variety of different pizzas and soup. The buffet was $12-$13 dollars. What a deal. THANKS! read more

This place is mostly good! I was visiting Marquette for vacation, and this was one of the places I saved to visit. I had a small, hand tossed, margherita pizza, and the pot roast poutine. The pizza was genuinely fantastic, better than most of the places I have around me near Detroit, and the 1-2 servings estimate for the size is pretty accurate. I really wanted to love the pot roast poutine, and the fries and meat were really good, but the cheese curds were a bit cold, definitely not like the poutine I've had before. The service was pretty good, our waitress was sweet and happily dealt with my slight indecisiveness. The environment was pretty basic, close to a regular sports bar, but a little extra class in comparison. I would recommend coming here if you're passing through! read more

Ugh this place has been on my mind for a hot minute and I had finally gotten my grubby hands all over it. Had a beautifully divine Detroit style pizza with a beautiful lass across from me who had indulged in a quaint salad. We got our food in a timely manner but it was roughly 4 pm so not that busy. Lovely waitress took care of us and was very polite. My friend I was with had pointed out that she went the night before and due to a slow waiting time, they gave her a bunch of free coupons in which we used for the house bread appetizer. The 2 sauces were rich and creamy. A perfect compliment to the garlicky cheesy bread. My Detroit style pizza was a perfect crispy crusted delicacy and my fangs sunk into the cheesy goodness with a generous evenly spread shedding of basil. My tastebuds were on a journey and I was more than happy to be on the ride. My company was enjoying her salad as well, with some fresh lettuce and perfectly ripe tomatoes. Lowkey, I think the salad could've been bigger but that's my hot take. I think this is a top 5 place in Marquette. Quality is great, service is great, options are great. DON'T waste your time with this business that thinks it knows how to make pizza or provide customer service. I have been ordering pizza from this business since it changed name to Third Coast Pizza with minor issues. Today, I ordered the same pizza I always order, " A large hand tossed Carnivoro, garlic butter crust, plus pineapple". My receipt stated exactly what I ordered. What I received was "A large DEEP DISH carnivorous plus pineapple!??". The Manager Brian French is on vacation in Florida so the female supervisor said "we will make you a new pizza and you will have to come and pick it up! No we can't give you a credit". Incompetent at best, this response was not acceptable nor was the pizza I received. Too bad that Brian, the real Manager is a very nice person. I live 10 miles one way from Marquette and the price of gas certainly doesn't make it worth driving back to get, maybe, the PIZZA THAT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN TO START WITH! read more

There is a whirlwind who makes Third Coast Pizza the success that it is. She flies from station to station. At one moment, she fills the drink counter up with over a half dozen drinks that she makes in lightning speed. And she makes them with the care and love as if she is preparing them for her own family! Then, she grabs a tray and delivers them! After delivering, she takes orders, delivers them to the kitchen, and then follows up with all the customers. Oh, and on top of it, she is one of the managers! Talk about leadership capabilities, such as leading from example! I am talking about Taylor, one of the managers at Third Coast Pizza. She is friendly, professional, skilled, and most of all committed to the success of this restaurant. This review will be less about the food, which we enjoyed thoroughly: the special of breadsticks, a pitcher of beer, and a pizza with two toppings. That review will have to come in more detail and another time. But for now, kudos to the Tasmanian Angel that we know and love, Taylor. read more

We first visited Third Coast Pizzeria in August. We had called in take out pizzas and after 45 minutes we went to get them and they weren't ready. We stood by the bar and watched the bartender work it like an octopus, she was amazing, but definitely overworked. A server saw us and checked on the pizzas only to let us know that it would be another 30 minutes. So we went to an outside table and had a few really nice cocktails. Our server was amazingly friendly and gave us tips on a few other gluten free spots in town (Marquette can definitely accommodate Celiac). The gluten free pizzas were worth the wait, so delicious! It is so hard to get a good crust on a gluten free pizza but they definitely did! We came back a second time in October and there wasn't any wait for the takeout. The pizza was just as good, the service was just as friendly, but we didn't have time for their amazing cocktails. It just made me realize a little bit of a wait is not a bad thing! We love Third Coast Pizzeria and highly recommend them! read more

These guys were really great. Ordered pizza to our hotel during a hockey weekend and they brought plenty of plates, napkins and wet wipes without us even asking. Pizza was too hot to eat when it arrived - which is great! Nice and fresh. Delivery driver was very friendly and nice and guys taking our order were super friendly and thorough. Great job! Went here twice during our visit to Marquette last week! We did takeout both times and had to wait a few minutes for our order to be ready for pickup at the bar, but bartenders were super friendly and went to check on status of order. It was quiet (we did go before summer season kicked off) with a few people at the bar and a few at tables and area was moderately lit. We got two pizzas (one small hand tossed and one gluten free) both times - my husband had great things to say about the hand tossed pizza and I loved my gluten free pizza. The gluten free crust had a great consistency and was really filling, which all gluten free folks can appreciate! The gluten free pizza was cooked and put in the to go box in a disposable metal pan to minimize cross contamination. Highly recommend this spot for takeout or dine in, especially for those who are looking for a gluten free pizza in Marquette! read more

We saw that there were a couple two tops available on the front patio so we asked to be seated outside. Taylor was our waitress and she was fantastic. As we had read some of the prior reviews, we wanted to try the white fish tacos and the cherry chicken Panini with the white fish chowder. By the way, they make their own blue cheese dressing, and it was beyond phenomenal, I was hoping we could buy it somewhere, but you cannot! The food was very tasty, albeit pricey, but we did have a lovely lunch date. We only had iced tea to drink so the total for both meals $48 before tip. Make sure to take a walk across the street and down to the waterfront to enjoy some of the beautiful lake superior views. There is a park down here as well as a big grassy area to just relax and enjoy the scenery. There might be street parking in front of the restaurant, but there is a public parking lot just a block away and it was about $2.50 for 3 1/2 hours so incredibly reasonable

It was excellent. Food and service were excellent. We are a product of the South and dont have much whitefish and walleye available. I had the walleye sticks appetizer with an order of fries and my wife had the whitefish cakes. Both were delicious. Fries were obviously hand-cut and large; also very hot. Our server was great! The best part of the meal was the BREAD STICKS! It appeared that the sticks are baked in a round pattern, like a pizza, and then cut into sticks. They were so hot, I couldn't hold them until they cooled a little bit. The accompanying spread was excellent; also marinara sauce. One could make a meal from the bread sticks. The vibe was pleasantly rustic. We decided on a booth instead of seats at the bar. Again, our server was great. The guy who brought out the bread sticks was equally good. I suppose the bread sticks are brought to the table directly from the oven. Highly recommend this place!

We rarely sit outside but this patio beckoned and we were helpless to resist. There's even outdoor seating available if you arrive before the restaurant is open! Silas brought us menus and took drink orders right away. We enjoyed the season's first shandies while exploring the menu. His attention was perfect and we shared some laughs each time he returned to our table. Neither one of us wanted to share (I guess) so we each ordered our own appetizers. I can never get enough smoked whitefish spread... until it's ALL MINE! I enjoyed every bite and would do it again. Patrick ordered the walleye strips and he did offer me a bite (generous devil that he is). They were perfectly crisp without being heavy or greasy. If I had known that... nah, I'd still get the whitefish. We'll be back to visit The Portside and try more menu items. Who knows, maybe we'll split something next time?

It was battered and fried well. Most of the flavor came from the condiments but the tartar was pretty tasty. We'd definitely eat here again when in the area.

Note there is no shade available so on a hot day it may be advisable to sit elsewhere. Also there were plenty of board games available on both floors for patrons to borrow. All in all- Oredock is a solid brewery.

There were no seats at the highly touted back room, with a view, so we decided to sit at the bar...excellent decision. BTW, the view at the back area is not worth getting stressed about. However, it is a great area. Our bartender was Marissa; she was great. When in Rome...we both decided to get the whitefish. Mine was just the regular seasoning and my wife got the scampi version. Both were very good. We both had one of the Vierling's brews (cant remember which one) and we both enjoyed it. Vierling also has a blueberry brew and blueberries are actually dropped into it before served. We may go back today just to try it. It was a great experience and struck up a conservation with a young local. He wrote down several recommendations for us, including Black Rock Brewery and Portside, which deserve a review. I highly recommend The Vierling and discovered they take reservations. We enjoyed sitting at the bar. Thanks Marissa!

Unfortunately tonight I didn't get here early enough so I sat out by the bar, which is absolutely fine. I started with a French onion soup, which I normally do when I'm here, tonight it was a little less oniony than it usually is, but that just could simply be a function of whoever was ladling it up. It's still absolutely delicious. For dinner, I had the chicken piccata with a baked potato and steamed green beans. The steamed green beans are a staple while there are a variety of other sides, such as onion rings or Alfredo, etc. I was a little disappointed in the piccata this time. It was less lemony and more oily than I remember. The lemon wedge helped, but I don't think that piccata would have to need additional lemon to the sauce. The green beans also a little heavy on the butter as was the baked potato. I don't want to say that the meal wasn't flavorful, because it was and my server while really busy was an absolute gem, only that it was a little heavy with the melted butter. After many excellent experiences here, this won't turn me off to coming back again and trying something else. Especially if I can get a table in the back!
