Blacken catfish and jambalaya. We got an order of cracklings, freshly made spicy and delicious. My wife is allergic to shellfish, she went with the bluegrass chicken it was amazing it has a light flavorful sauce that compliments the chicken. I had the blackened catfish, it was amazing, best I have ever had spiced and cooked perfectly. Both dinners come with their version of red beans and rice, it was different than what I've had but I would say authentic. It too was amazing. My boss had jambalaya it was excellent. All large portions. They are BYOB and literally a liquor store is across the street. Be a little patient it's cooked fresh and it's owner operated so takes a few minutes longer, but So worth it Don't sleep on this place it's amazing food

We ordered dinner takeout this time, and everything from the service to the flavors was truly top-notch. We ordered from The Classic Somali Dish menu. I had the Somali Rice with Goat Meat, which was incredibly flavorful. The rice was perfectly seasoned and aromatic, and the goat was tender, well-cooked, and beautifully spiced. My wife had the Coconut Chicken Stew with Rice, and she couldn't stop talking about how delicious and comforting it was -- the coconut sauce added a rich, creamy touch that paired so well with the perfectly cooked chicken and rice. We also shared two beef samosas, which were crispy, savory, and packed with flavorful filling. They were the perfect appetizer to start our meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and welcoming, just like the first time we visited. Even though we ordered takeout, the staff made us feel valued and took great care to package everything carefully to keep it fresh and warm. The ambiance of Kismayo Kitchen is always warm and inviting. Even though we didn't dine in this time, you can still feel the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere when you walk up to place your order. Kismayo Kitchen continues to impress with its authentic flavors, generous portions, and wonderful service. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite go-to spots for Somali cuisine.

The last time my bf and I went we ordered a special which was Dan Dan noodles with pork, the cheeseburger, and burrata with bruschetta to start. All of the food was full of flavor and fair portion size. Restaurant poco does not take reservations in advance. It's easier to get a seat in spring summer or fall when they open up their outdoor seating and so can host more guests. You have to go to put your name on the wait list regardless of the season and even in summertime with more seating it can be a 20-40min wait. They play good funky music which can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud inside (I.e. a jock jam will be playing at club volume level), that's one of my few complaints. You can be at a two person table and only a few feet away from your dinner date but not always hear them. This happens mostly just during the winter. Outdoor seating is nice with outdoor lights and easy to see and hear whomever you're dining with. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone as they always have great tasting food and good drinks. A little on the pricier side, but worth it.

What a stunning experience after a long bike ride!…read more After spending the day biking, this place was exactly the kind of place I wanted to end up. The moment we walked in, we were greeted immediately and seated, and the service was wonderful from beginning to end. Our waitstaff was pleasant, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming without being overbearing. We started with hummus and some lamb, and then I ordered the chicken kebab entrée. Now, let me be very clear: I am NOT a chicken eater. But this chicken was so phenomenal that I told my friend the only way I would want to eat chicken again is if it's prepared and seasoned exactly the way this was. It was THAT good. The portion size was generous but still thoughtful. I really appreciated that because by the end of the meal, I was completely full--and honestly, I'm glad my plate wasn't overloaded with food just for the sake of having a huge portion. Everything felt intentional. The greens and onions that came with my meal were fresh, nicely prepared, and seasoned well. Nothing on the plate felt like an afterthought. I also ordered a drink that reminded me of a Shirley Temple, and it was really good, refreshing and exactly what I needed after being out biking. One of my favorite details about the restaurant was the open kitchen. Depending on where you're seated, you can see the chefs working, which adds another layer to the experience. I love being able to see the people preparing the food I'm eating. It makes the meal feel more connected and gives you an appreciation for the work happening behind the scenes. Between the food, service, atmosphere, open kitchen, and generous portions, Kismet really delivered. I left full, satisfied, and already thinking about what I would order next time. I'm absolutely looking forward to coming back!

There's no way I was coming home with just one order of food. lol I got two Jerk Chicken Meals with rice & beans plus cabbage, two Beef Patties, and two sides of Plantains.
