You order from one of the tablets outside nest to the shack (directions on how to order could be a lot clearer as there is no one in the dining room or the outdoor patio to direct you to the tablets). There's a little sandwich board on the ground with some instructions scrawled on dry-erase marker. After you order and pay on the tablet (cash not accepted). You wait until you get a text on your phone to let you know to pick up your order from the sliding window at the shack. The inside is a basic bar with a full drink menu and several beers on draft and in bottles. You can pay for your drinks with cash or card. The food is actually pretty good, but quite pricey for the level of service and the amount of food you get.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We were never greeted or checked on during our visit and had to go up to the bar anytime we needed something. The bartenders seemed more focused on socializing with friends than serving customers, and it often took quite a while to get their attention. We understand it's a bar and people are there to have fun, but even a simple greeting and a little more attentiveness would have made for a much better experience.

It was fresh, clean, cozy, and had excellent service. Don't tell anyone else how good the Alley Cat Lounge is, though, so I can still have a seat. ;)

You can also cater in your own food, so it's not like you have to use their contacts, but it does have to be catered, you can't bring in homemade food. You can also bring in a DJ. This particular party had a cash bar but you can make arrangements for it to be an open bar if you would like. The most exciting thing is you only have to have I think a $400 liquor minimum. Well if you have a decent crowd, I'm sure that's pretty easy. I also wasn't aware that they actually have a parking lot for your guests as well.

I had the 12oz ribeye which was on the thin side but overall was a good steak. I expected a grizzly steak with a good amount of fat but it was on the leaner side for a ribeye and the whole steak was edible. My sides were fries(crinkle cut) and salad (a blen of iceberg and green leaf along with other veggies and cheese). Served with Texas toast. Overall a good value meal! Worth stopping for. The atmosphere was ok. A little stale and preppie. I believe they have another bar area which is divided by a wall, I cannot comment on that if so. Where I sat was more of a diner atmosphere with alcohol. Service was good
