3.5 Counting my blessings at the beach this week includes lots of good food. "The kids" brought a box of these home today and we anxiously gathered around the table (after a delightful dinner) and shared a family tasting of six of today's offerings from The Thick Cookie Co. Our consensus on these thick blobs of delectable sweets was mixed. (So, no true consensus except on aroma. That was out of the box amazing!) No one cookie came out on top for all 6 of our crew. We all had our own faves with Toffee garnering most top votes. Making/baking a cookie this thick with thin edges is a true skill and Thick Cookie Co did this well for most of the assortment. However, two fell a little "gooey" short when the centers simply were very akin to raw dough. Flavors of all cookies were much like the aromas - big, bold, and enticing. (My personal favorite was the wedding cake with an abundance of almond ... very reminiscent of marzipan.) Snickerdoodle was a big hit (our baking family goes back generations with this style treat.) Toffee also came in strong at or near the top as mentioned above. Chocolate chip was a bit of a mess....but a generous abundance of chocolate in the center will do that. Least favorite was the cherry cheese cake....it just bitterly missed the mark. So....head in for your sugar overload...these will help you get there in a most "spoonful of sugar" delicious, delightful way.

We were on vacation in the area and saw this storefront on the first day so had to stop by before heading out. I went in with the three teenagers and we were disappointed in the variety. There were 3 classic cookie flavors and 2 giant cookie flavors. I ordered the classic chocolate chip cookie. The flavor was just okay. It was too heavy on dark chocolate chips for me. Finally, the bottom of it was very hard. I do not recommend this cookie. The girls liked their cookies (they chose the 4-star rating on this review) and I was underwhelmed with mine (likely would've given this a 2 or 3). The design of the restaurant is lovely, but the cookies are pricey. If I lived near a Thick Cookie, I would not patronize it regularly.

Service was on point. Owner is super nice and friendly. Can tell they have the passion for what they do. The location is super simple layout but nice, I always believe you don't need to be fancy just let your product speak for itself. The cookies I tried are a lot different than my typical go to and had skepticism. They're delicious..baked to perfection and that's awesome considering how thick they are. They're a little bit sweeter in my opinion but that's my personal opinion. I'm a Cookie Monster and these guys are definitely in the gourmet category.. get here and try for yourself.

These cookies are sooooo good! We had the snickerdoodle one and it was perfectly warm, moist, and sugary! We also had the ice cream and it was great! They had about 6-8 flavors of ice cream to choose from! The cutest couple own it and so happy to buy from a small business!! We will be back Great location too! Close to the park for the kids after cookies!

The cookies were so good and oh so thick in the middle, just like their namesake. We had the chocolate chip, tuxedo, and a white chocolate raspberry. I also had a scoop of the brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream which was heavenly. The owner/manager came out both times we visited and she was very friendly and made small talk with us asking where we were from and wished us well back home. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Had a couple people tell me I needed to check this place out since I leave a lot of food reviews. Everyone said get there early as they sell out of cookies daily. Took a chance and went around 5pm local time and sure as heck, they were out of some of their cookies, but was glad they had some left. They have a bright and wide open store, very welcoming and inviting, great colors and decor and the staff was super friendly and helpful and easy to listen to while explained their stocks. Their cookies are slightly different than normal cookies and way better than crumbl. I really liked the s'mores and animal cookies. The chocolate chip was still warm and delicious, everyone was right, these things are 100% worth the try and getting a few different ones!

My family and I were just walking around the area, and we saw this cookie place, so we went in to give it a try. The place was really clean and nice. The staff was patient with us, while we were looking at the different cookies. In the picture from top to bottom are the S'mores, Galaxy Brownie, The Randy, and Chocolate Chip. I only have The Randy. It was so good. Using the yellow cake batter for the cookie was so interesting. Of course, adding the white frosting and caramel drizzle helps bring the flavor out.

My husband and I stopped in to try one of their cookies, and we came back the NEXT day for more! The first one we tried was the tuxedo cookie, which had the perfect amount sweetness. We loved the other flavors too (pictured). We honestly thought the consistency would be too doughy, but it was perfect! While we only ordered the classic cookies, they also had larger ones with more speciality flavors. It is a cute store with some seating and merchandise, and the owners were SO kind and helpful. Next time we are back in the area... we will definitely make another stop!

Absolutely incredible. There's nothing bad to say about their business or the cookies. They have exquisite cookies, are very kind, and they're a Christian business! The staff/owners are very polite and service was great. We also enjoyed the minimalistic ambiance of the store front. 10/10.

Very cute and clean cookie shop. I went around noon on a Wednesday and there was no line. Cookies were big and prices were good. I enjoyed the store cookie and the fruity pebbles one. Looking forward to going back in a few weeks.

Super cute place! Way better cookies than "you know who" and the guys working were so nice and friendly!!

Peanut butter cookie (with a bit missing), 2 chocolate chips on the left & Oreo cookie pieces cookie to the right

WAY better than Crumbl! Such a cute place - so clean, super friendly staff, DELICIOUS, warm cookies! There was a long line & I could tell they were figuring out their groove, but it went pretty fast and we were thrilled with our flavor choices. I loved the peanut butter, hubs got chocolate chip, and we tried an Oreo cookie flavor for later. Perfect crunch on the outside with an amazing gooey center. I hope this business thrives!

4 classic cookies and two giant cookies. All 6 were amazing

I have been dreaming about their caramel bar ever since. This trip I of course got the caramel bar, which I'd like to say the portion is huge. It lasted me too evenings lol they also still had their seasonal "oh xmas tree" left. This particular ice cream tastes like a little Debbie Christmas tree cake. It was exceptional! They have so many pints of different ice creams already available but if you want to try something they don't have made in a pint they will make it in a comparable size cup for you to go. They also make coffee here which I have not tried yet, but plan to in the future. Both times I have gone the staff has been so friendly and kind and very helpful by helping me decide what to get because they have so many delicious options. Pink Coyote Dessert is a required staple visit when I am in town!

I got an extra scoop of salmon that came with it or I could've gotten a third protein. You can get it with rice, brown rice greens and I think there was a couple other options. Their menu is very easy and very clear to understand and read which made a very helpful and not overwhelming. Everything was labeled perfectly and very quick and fast efficient service I got my Poké bowl on a bed of greens. As you can see, I added a few extra toppings and that was extra like the avocado, seaweed salad and mango, but the mango was actually not ready and crunchy and hard. It did not taste very good at all! I also got a passionfruit Boba tea with lychee. This cost me $25 for both . Everything was packaged very perfectly and my drink looks phenomenal and tasted great.. The staff, they were very kind very quick. The environment was very clean and very kept. It's a very tiny shop. They were out of napkins, so you just had to use a paper towel roll. That was kind of inconvenient since everyone else is grabbing to rip a piece off . I happily enjoyed my visit overall ! Will be back thank You for making it a good experience!
