The princess left me for the next table because they had food.

Okay, so me and the princess (see attached pic) and I were out for a Walmart run. We decide to stop to fortify ourselves for the inevitable people of Walmart deluge. I really liked the pee-ounce pour-yourself format. It allowed me to get exactly what I wanted and not be bogged down by flights of stuff I might not like. The beers were respectable. They're kinda new, so the recipes and techniques can use some tweaking, but overall a good product. And the princess loved it so much that she ditched me to go hang at another table that was more fun and generous with treats.

This is a strip mall style brewery, so expect to see lots of duct work in the ceiling, rafters high above, metal and concrete and all the usual dressings of a modular building. TBH it's a style that lends to the cleanliness of the place, which this place was, but in some way, it is a negative because the location detracts from the uniqueness of the brand. Stopped in for a look around. It was just lunch time and we were not able to enjoy a few so I went for the to go option. This is a card style, pay by the pour type place. I worry about those types, because the cost can be hidden by the math involved. But as I said, I went to the Togo area and grabbed a six pack for $16.50. Not what I was expecting but , I had to try it. Not much more I can say on this review, as I did not try anything.

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. Had no flavor. Like at all. 1 out of 5. Only saving grace was that a) it was edible and b) the bun was soft. The side of fries was waaaay too salty. Husband ordered 6 old bay wings. He only got 5 and they were all drums. He didn't bother complaining because he said he wouldn't be able to eat 6 anyway. Only had a little old bay on them, but they were nice and crunchy. All in all, I was excited to try The Grain Table, but can say my first impression is that I'm not a fan. Don't see a need to return for the food, that's for sure. Would think that with an entire menu overhaul and social media rollout to get people to come in, the food would meet expectations. Side note, (and not just because I'm disappointed with the food) as I said this the other day when I read it, "The Grain Table" brings to mind crunchy, granola, some might say "healthy" food. The menu does not meet that name by a long shot. The menu is pizza, burgers, wings, chicken sandos, ribs- as you read it, elevated pub food.

Good beer. Great pizza. Friendly staff. Plenty of room inside and out…read more We like it a lot. It's a stop for us on the way home from Whitetail or anytime we're around 81. It is 5 minutes from the 70/81 interchange. A 12 oz pour of most beers is around $7 (which I think is a tad high when you are buying from the source) but it is cheaper than their Columbia location and much friendlier. Lower ABV beers are in 16 oz, pours for a similar price. They also have cocktails and in the summer a smoothie machine of adult drinks. Pizza is also on the pricey side, but it is excellent. (Check out the Tiki restaurant on your way out for more beer and completely different food options.)

"If you want to go to a brewery that is super loud from obnoxious drunk people singing karaoke and…read moreothers cheering them on, this is your kind of brewery." I hate giving any brewery less than five stars because 99% of them deserve it but this is the 1%. TBH: I'd like to think I'm a brewery connoisseur considering I've been to hundreds of them over the past ten years but this one might be the worst one I've ever been to. I've also drank hundred of different craft beers from a lot breweries I've never been to in a multitude of states where friends have went without me and brought different IPA's, Sours, Stouts, Porters, etc. back to share with me. I'd say this place is more of a super busy bar in an area with not much to do other than go to this place which also happens to sell pizza and brew their own beers than it is a brewery. Breweries are always chill and relaxing and this place is nothing of the sort, at all! The location is also right beside a busy interstate so when you are outside you are literally listening to and watching cars drive by. We walked in on a Saturday evening and it was wall to wall people which is a great thing for the owners but over time that can't be sustained because that kind of crowd will end up costing you true brewery enthusiasts because I've never once been to a brewery and seen a person drunk or anyone causing a commotion. The whole point of drinking craft beers is to enjoy the different flavor complexities and/or to enjoy their seasonal beers while also enjoying others company. You ever see people at wineries slamming glasses of wine to get drunk while screaming at the top of their lungs? Exactly! I love the whole style of this place which is industrial and the artwork is amazing. We had a couple sours that we shared which were amazing tbh and I wish we could have enjoyed them or more over a good conversation that we typically have while going from brewery to brewery but we couldn't even hear ourselves think over the super loud environment and bad karaoke lol The peanut butter and the strawberry shortcake sours were amazing, I must say. I'm sure this place is great for the people who live close by and go daily or on a weekly basis but this isn't my kind of brewery that is in a cool old building or off the beaten path. I'm coming to a brewery to relax, talk, people watch, and possibly play some type of board game or cards they have on the shelves. If there happens to be a night where I am at a brewery and they have live music which not many breweries that I have been to do its usually more open mic and mellow, not concert level speakers. Anyways, this place is great for college kids and bikers but not my kind of vibe so I most likely will never come back no matter how great their beers are. FYI: I wouldn't mind ordering a pizza for pick up from RAD Pies the next time I am in the area and taking it to another brewery and enjoying it there because their pizza did look pretty good. Have fun and be safe ;)

Ordered a flight and a mixed drink.  They have beer offering, wine and spirits.  What caught my eye was their flight of Scotch 4 1/2 oz pours for only $14.  WINNING!!!! The Beer: Bunches honey granola cream Ale 5.5% ABV... smooth and crushable! Belgian Dubbel w/ cherry plum & raisins 7.1% ABV... I wasn't expecting the high amount of acidity for this Belgian dubbel. It was a burst of flavor which punched me right in the taste buds.  In a good way. Coattails Double IPA 7.9% ABV...  well balanced IPA, a little citrus, a little hops, slightly sweet and nothing overwhelming. FIRE! French Toast Nightman barrel aged Imperial Stout 10% ABV... dark chocolate and coconut is all I got.  It was semi sweet and tasted a little of extract. Aged 14 months, respectfully throw that back in the barrel and pull it out in a few years. Or bottle it and forget about it for a long while. Dark Passenger cherry vanilla Porter 7.6%  ABV... this one kicked before I could try it.  Maybe next time. The service was fantastic.  The beer was great.  And, I felt totally comfortable in this atmosphere.  Like that t-shirt that is super comfortable, but you can't throw away because it is so very comfortable.  Or your favorite reclining chair.  Suffice to say, I wish I could pack Homaide Brewing in my carry on and take is with me on my flight back to to Florida.

We also scooped an order of cheesy bread as well and a couple of waters. MARGHERITA: thin on the sauce (which is a heavy tomato paste consistency) so it looks overcooked. Flavor was good but the sauce was nearly dried on - maybe thinning the sauce so it keeps its liquidity more? Don't know. Again - a solid pie (7.2/10) RICKERONI: Cupping pepperoni, ricotta mounds, and some jalapeños . More of a traditional feel here - loved the pepperoni and the sauce. The ricotta looked cool but wasn't my favorite addition. Peppers really had a pop to them. Liked this way more (8.1/10) BIG MAC: Meat, garlic sauce, MAC sauce and pickles - I liked this a lot but I wish I would had ordered more MAC sauce on top - like these style specialty pies (7.8/10) The cheesy bread was good, the pesto very thick on top. Nice large space to sit and eat. Staff was nice and friendly at the pickup window.
