If you're shopping for a hot tub and want a very knowledgeable, no-pressure buying experience, ask…read morefor Liam at Spa & Sauna Company. I've honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming--different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he'd be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I've ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models--including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn't stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty--everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We've now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I've literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you're looking for a hot tub and aren't sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection--and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.

Great job purging, draining and cleaning our hot tub. Will use them again next year!read more

My husband said the father seemed to be very knowledgeable and honest when he came to quote. We paid the $1000 deposit and the start date was scheduled. Day one seemed to go well. However, from day two until the completion of the pool, their communication sucked. There were multiple days that they just didn't show up with no notification. We didn't hear anything until we reached out to them wondering why the no show. They claimed they had emergency jobs that pulled them away. We can understand that, but we would have liked a courtesy call. We had a scheduled date to get our house painted thinking that the pool work would be done, but due to all the missed days, it wasn't. So we pushed back the house painting a week. Come to find out, Coral Pool said we SHOULD get the house painted first. If we had better communication from them, we would have known not to push the painting back a week. Most communication was through text, which is fine, but this was not the experience we expected since they were so easy to work with in the beginning. Ultimately, the pool looks beautiful and everything seems to be running fine. I am pleased with the final out come. I am not sure if I would recommend.

Louie Mejia was our project manager, and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of selecting finishes and design details, making sure everything came together beautifully. He also recommended essential repairs and updates that needed to be addressed to ensure the final result was not only stunning but built to last. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, we now have an amazing new pool that exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated that Coral Pool and Spa is a family-owned company and that they do not subcontract their work. Instead, they have a specialized, in-house team for every aspect of the job. Every employee we interacted with was professional, skilled, and respectful. We also enjoyed working with Louie's dad, the owner, who was always available to answer our questions and make us feel confident in the process. We highly recommend Coral Pool and Spa to anyone looking to remodel their pool or build a new one. Their quality, integrity, and customer care truly set them apart.

Don't be…read morediscouraged by a few one star reviews on here...look at the work he did and the FIVE STARS reviews from all of his clients, it speaks volumes. At first, when I called him, he said that his work is expensive. I felt a little uncomfortable and thought that how does he know how much I am willing to pay for this project. But then I realized that if someone who is brave enough to say such a thing, he must be good at what he is doing. Besides, I believe in "you get what you paid for". So I called him right back and explained to him what I wanted to do. He came to my house the next day and spent a good amount of time inspecting the property. He did not give me a quote but said it is not worth doing what I wanted to do. He gave me advise on alternative solutions and provided valuable information that I would not have known otherwise. After this experience, I feel like John is the only one that I would trust to do work for my forever pool. He takes pride on his work and once he takes on your work, you know he will turn your pool into a masterpiece.

I said that was fine and I would still be interested in getting at least a preliminary quote as we were kind of expecting that. He then started the whole well you might be better off calling the other guys because they are cheaper and I only do high end work thing...way to assume our project potential without even knowing our budget. I guess a gunite pool, spa, hardscaping and landscaping at a new homesite is too below him. I will take our money elsewhere.

I recommend exercising caution when considering this company…read more I was retained by the client's insurance carrier to evaluate and repair a residential pool system following recent service performed by this business. Within a short period after their reported service, the system exhibited significant issues, including failed motors and a severe chemical imbalance. According to the client, the company had been servicing the pool for approximately two months. However, the condition in which the system was found required extensive repairs. The estimated cost of equipment damage alone is approximately $12,000, with the potential for additional damage to the solar heating system still under evaluation. I would also like to clarify an inaccuracy in the owner's response to the client's review. The owner stated that payments were made late; however, documentation provided to both myself and the insurance adjuster indicates that payments were made in a timely manner. The only initial delay occurred because the client was hesitant to prepay for services not yet rendered, particularly following prior scheduling changes before the first visit and again around the time payment was requested for what was described as a "green to clean" service. In addition, I reviewed video footage showing the time spent servicing the pool during multiple visits. Based on those observations, the level and duration of service performed did not appear consistent with the services billed. Additionally, there appeared to be a pattern of scheduling changes, same-day payment demands, and repeated service-related issues. During a subsequent visit following installation of replacement equipment, the client shared communications they received from an individual identified as the owner. Based on the nature of those communications, I advised the client to consider contacting appropriate authorities. The client also indicated they felt uncomfortable enough to remove a prior review and has since expressed concerns about their personal security, including considering additional measures such as installing security fencing. Of particular concern, the owner's public response to the client's review included posting the client's address and making remarks about animals on the property. This raised additional concerns for the client and contributed to a heightened sense of alarm. The client maintained detailed records, including text communications, video documentation, and payment history, all of which were reviewed and retained by the insurance carrier as part of its evaluation. I understand that this matter is being pursued through subrogation. From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. And everything else listed. This hot tub is relatively new.
