I went up and checked before, during and post work and we are so pleased. We are now properly vented and have airflow, have all areas sealed, vent fans sealed correctly and enough insulation. It took only about an hour for the estimate, including the 1/2 hour the gentleman took to write it up and provide photos, work to be done and costs (in a color pamphlet!). He also reviewed what was found and what work should be done and why. We were really impressed. The actual work was scheduled week later and took 2 days (did not take an entire day each day). They were quick, clean, put up plastic barriers to protect the walls, house and floor. No leakage of any debris or old soiled insulation occurred. 10/10 would hire again. Note: they took care if the PSE rebates and were recommended by PSE.

The proposal itself already included a clause stating the work would be considered partial remediation with no warranty attached, so liability concerns had already been addressed in writing. Instead of adjusting the scope, the company withdrew the proposal and sent an email suggesting my request to remove those additional items were "demands." Based on my experience, be very clear about scope and expectations before requesting a proposal from this company. They will scope creep on you.

Representative was confident and work was done to the tune of $6000+. Periodically checked immediate area and had exterminators down there bi-monthly with reports of minor moisture but overall OK. Orkin sent out a guy to perform an inspection and he reported the exact situation I paid to resolve. It was beyond 1 year but it is obvious they did not perform work I was promised. I asked them to honor the warranty 22 months after work, which I do know is beyond, but it is clear that they did not do work promised and I believe they should back up their work.

His estimate was solid and he explained to me options I had to accomplish the replacement of attic insulation with air sealing of all ceiling penetrations as well as the few items that needed to be fixed in the crawl space. Scope of work. Remove all attic insulation. Add new baffles to bird block locations. Air seal around all ceiling penetrations to minimize house humidity from moving into the attic. Replace crawl space vapor barrier and fix up what duct insulation and crawl insulation that has fallen or needed to be beautified from it's original installation 30 years ago.

When they arrived I spoke to the lead person and he explained everything and exactly how they were going to get it done. When they finished I went into the crawl space to inspect and I could believe how good it looked. I inspected some of the joints and pipes and everything was tight and sealed as said.
