For $10 (I think it was on special, normally $12?) you get a real, home-made sugar cream pie. Great crust. Filling that is a cross between pudding and custard in texture, and subtly sweet. Is it as good as grandma's? Close. I'm biased, of course, and we ate the whole thing in a day, so no real complaints. But differences: a little coconut flavor, which must be a local variation? Crust was not quite the same. But on its own, as a pie, as a sugar cream pie, very good. We heard of her on PBS, and had to come by as soon as we were up this way. We will be back.
