I had dealt with on-and-off knee pain for several years, along with a few small tears, and over time it significantly reduced my confidence to hike, bike, and work out the way I used to. I have always been a very active person and have completed challenging hikes in Yosemite as well as the Inca Trail. Getting back into the kind of shape where I could do those things again had started to feel almost impossible. Stephen worked with me patiently and diligently, step by step, showing me how to recover, rebuild strength, and regain confidence in my knees. What I especially appreciated was his willingness to answer all of my questions and explain the science behind what we were doing. He started by helping me understand something as fundamental as how pain receptors work in the knees and built from there. His combination of patience, knowledge, and a scientifically grounded approach gave me the confidence to become active again and work toward the things I love doing.

Intake scheduling was easy, though you can't book or cancel future sessions through the portal. You have to call, but they're responsive on the phone. The space is small, with only 2-3 patients there at a time. Appointments are 30 minutes, done in curtained bed areas, and focused on manual therapy. I worked with Jay (aide) and Jannie (PT) and enjoyed working with both of them. One thing worth mentioning, not as a criticism, is that most of my sessions were with a PT aide rather than the PT directly, who mainly handled assessments. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I think it might be common in clinic settings? but it did leave me wondering how comprehensive my treatment was. I also had trouble getting clarity on specialty services. I understand there are some inherent limitations there, but I think the clinic could set clearer expectations upfront for patients considering that route. Overall clinic model wasn't the right fit for me. I completed 15 visits and gave it a real try, but I needed more structured guidance and supervision while doing my PT exercises to make sure I was doing them correctly. That kind of structure has helped me make faster progress in the past. Manual therapy may work well for some people, but it didn't meet my needs.

My range of motion was severely limited, and I couldn't do simple things like thread my belt through the back loops of my pants, or wash my back in the shower. My orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy, so I called Silver Creek Physical Therapy in Sunnyvale and made an initial appointment. At the initial appointment, administrative coordinator Shelia took all of my information and scheduled 11 weekly 1-hour sessions for me, all in less than 5 minutes. Extremely efficient and professional. Over the next several weeks, I worked with Josephine, one of Silver Creek's several knowledgeable, skilled and accredited Doctors of Physical Therapy, going through a prescribed regimen of stretching and strengthening exercises. Using the Silver Creek website, I was assigned a plan of exercises to do at home, as well. Josephine and her staff were gentle, personable and professional, gradually getting me from debilitating pain to manageable pain to nuisance pain to almost a complete recovery. I had my last session today. I estimate I'm 98% recovered, and I plan on continuing to work at home to conquer the remaining 2% range of motion (mainly reaching behind the back and upwards, which they tell me is the last and hardest to recoup). Nobody asks for pain or physical problems in life. But if you have them, and you want to get better in a hurry, I highly recommend Silver Creek Physical Therapy in Sunnyvale!

Dr. Vid gets you back to doing what you love - but you've got to do the work too…read more After a significant fall that left me with limited mobility and daily pain, I knew I needed more than just quick fixes. I wanted a provider who would help me understand the biomechanical root cause of my issues, not just treat symptoms. Dr. Vid Jindal absolutely delivered on that front. What sets Dr. Vid apart is his multi-modal, evidence-based approach. During my initial visit, he performed comprehensive movement assessments that revealed patterns I never knew existed. As someone who works in tech, I appreciated how he explained exactly what each test indicated and how different movement dysfunctions were contributing to my pain. His extensive certifications beyond his DC degree (ART, Graston Technique, SFMA assessments, and more) were immediately apparent in how thoroughly he evaluated my condition. Here's what you need to know going in: Dr. Vid will be completely upfront that lasting results require your active participation. This isn't a "come in twice a week forever" situation - it's a corrective/functional care program where the real work happens between visits. I'll be honest, initially I wasn't thrilled about adding exercises to my daily routine. But Dr. Vid serves as both coach and advocate, helping you understand exactly why each movement matters for your long-term health. The results speak for themselves. Even with me admittedly not completing my "homework" 100% of the time at first, I noticed significant improvements in my upper body mobility and reduced extremity pain within just a few sessions. As I became more consistent with the at-home exercises, our progress accelerated dramatically. What impressed me most is Dr. Vid's commitment to education. Every session includes both hands-on treatment for soft tissue dysfunctions and spine/extremity adjustments, plus time spent helping you understand how to prevent re-injury and maintain your progress independently. Unlike providers who just want to cycle you through, he's genuinely invested in getting you to that "state of ready" where you can live actively and pain-free. If you're someone who wants to take an active role in your recovery and values understanding the "why" behind your treatment, you'll thrive here. Even if that's not your natural inclination, Dr. Vid's realistic approach to setting expectations and his genuine passion for patient education make the investment worthwhile. Bottom line: a few months of focused work with Dr. Vid has given me tools and knowledge about my body that I'll use for life. Highly recommend if you're ready to put in the effort for lasting results.

Thanks to him, I went from debilitating foot pain to dancing freely for hours in four-inch heels. To me, it's nothing short of miraculous. I came to Dr. Vid after running out of options. After a decade of dancing, I developed foot pain that no podiatrist, shoe, cream, or orthotic could fix. When I first contacted him, my expectations were admittedly low. The pain had been intense, and here I was, entrusting myself to someone who was neither a dancer nor a specialist in life on very high heels. How much I underestimated him! From the very first session, I realized I was in expert hands -- with someone who wouldn't just look at my foot, but assess my entire body, identifying root causes I'd never considered. What followed were focused, hands-on sessions to address the problem areas, followed by active physical therapy. He taught me exactly where and how to build strength to protect my body from future injury. I began to understand that if I want to stay pain-free -- especially under high-stress demands -- I need to take an active role in caring for and strengthening my body. And Dr. Vid showed me precisely how to do that. Dr. Vid won't give you a magic pill, an invasive surgery, or an overnight fix -- because he knows those only mask the issue and can even make it worse over time. He won't have you come in for quick sessions only to keep returning with the same problem. What he will do is zoom in on your body, identify the root cause, treat you holistically, and equip you with an arsenal of tools that will leave you feeling stronger and healthier than you have in years. His expertise is astonishing, his knowledge vast, his encouragement unwavering, and his positivity contagious. Finding Dr. Vid changed everything. What he gave me wasn't just relief - it was the strength and knowledge to keep doing what I love for years to come.

Her interview process was more lengthy than any other doctor, which makes her work so precise and customized. I don't want to give away her magic (which, to be honest, felt a little metaphysical/holistic though she well-educated in Western medicine), but instead of a battery of weird exercises, she was able to pinpoint my pain, and determine that my pain in my chest was actually referred from my back (she was right). Then as I lay or lie or lain or lied on my back (*smh because I'm a Language Arts teacher), she did some sort of gentle acupressure-like stuff on my neck and back, accompanied with electricity... I'm not sure what she was doing, but I felt so relaxed, and even with my eyes closed, fighting off sleep, the endorphin release caused me to see the color purple. (Not Whoopi Goldberg, but like a purple glow). Since just that first visit, the sharp pain I felt every 2 minutes I have only felt twice an hour. I feel I am in good hands, literally. Update: Second visit. 1/3/17. My chest pains had got much worse one cold night on a day I took no Advil. She treated them again and I haven't felt the chest pains at all since. In two visits, it went from every 2 minutes to every 30 minutes to nothing. I am afraid if the townspeople find out how magical she is, they might have to drown her to find out if she's a witch. (I mean that in a good way).

I went to with a situation where I couldn't sit for half an hour, getting a good night's sleep was so difficult. But after 9 months of intense training, I can say I am feeling better now. I started feeling the difference in few weeks of training itself. I have tried various physical therapists for months to resolve my lower back pain but none resolved the issue and forget the amount of money wasted. Here at Diaz Olson PT, I have been seeing Michael for about 9 months, we started with basic physical therapy exercises and gradually increased the exercises towards weights. It's not a typical physical therapy routine that Michael follows. He gives all kinds of exercises, some followed by the celeb trainers also. He is very considerate, fun and takes time to listen to your problems. I still get back pain but I have to keep doing regular exercises. With a sedentary life, it is hard to not get back pain but with all the exercises I have learned, I am able to follow my routine and I keep doing the exercises. Michael has taught exercises which are part of life style and I can follow them for as long as I want. He explains in detail about why the exercise works and what muscles it affects. Thanks for fixing my back! I am very grateful that I found Michael and would keep going to him in future. Also, I know Enrique a bit and he often corrects my exercises if I am doing wrong when I can escape from Michael's sight . He is also an amazing physical therapist. I would recommend both of them.

Having worked with multiple physiotherapist at different clinics all over the world thanks to different injuries, it is very clear that Heather really knows her stuff and is very good at what she does. She spends a considerable amount of time hands on, working directly with the injury and scar tissue, which I find the most helpful. The place is well, equipped, clean, and has a friendly welcoming environment. I haven't worked with any of the other therapist, so I can't speak to their skills but I would definitely recommend this place and Heather for those in need of physiotherapy.
