I had had Therapy previously and had no desire to return to them. After searching I decided to go to Alpine Physical Therapy. Rob, my therapist immediately wanted to know what my goals were. My goal was to paddle board this summer. I was progressing great. My balance and strength were well on the way to a full recovery. Unfortunately I broke my foot in March. I returned to Alpine Physical Therapy once again and continued my recovery. Rob always explained each exercise and made sure I had proper form, evaluate my progress, and adjust things based on my capacities. During every session I had his full attention during the entire time. My time there was always pleasant. The facility is very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. AND best of all I met my goals and had a fun filled summer. Do yourself a favor and see him if you are in need of Physical therapy.

He made an analysis of me and then gave me 3 exercises to do. 1. The Cat and Cow ( a basic exercise or the Cat and Camel taught to most in Yoga or fitness stretching ) 2. The Cobra Stretch- again basic 3. rocking my bent legs side to side I am an Athlete. He needs to give exercises up to the level of the client. I should have gone to someone who specialized in athletes if this was the way he conducts business. ___ The next time I came in, he did the same 3 exercises and massaged my back for 5 minutes. Nothing new and again, probably another $150. ____ The exercises helped some but certainly, to do the same 3 exercises in 2 sessions that were basic 101 .

So happy finally get to finish my ROLFING sessions after all these years of thinking about it. I…read morewas born with naturally bad knees--structurally different from normal people's knees. It wasn't until about 10 years ago that I started noticing and got worse over the years. A year ago, I somehow twisted my knee in a way that they would hurt more than half the time--alternating between right or left. Adding to that I have scoliosis, so my back is not that great either, and would get back pains. I have gone to chiro many years and my back got much better, but they weren't able to fix my knees. After many months, finally decided to give ROLFING a try. By the first session, when Manny was working on my hips/knees area, there was a large pop sound--Manny popped my hips/knees back in place--yay! I felt a difference from the first session and was so happy. After session, my body will feel more relieved. Throughout the sessions, Manny was always very experienced talented in treating me. He can see where your stance/problem areas are and tries to fix them. He is also great at teaching me different after class exercises that I can do at the gym to strengthen/work on my problem area, which I am extremely thankful of. Whenever I raise questions or sharing certain problems I have, Manny always take the time to examine and make them better, and provide appropriate exercises for them. Every session, Manny will take before and after pictures, so you can see the progress. From my before and after pictures, the biggest change are from my side profile. I used to lean more and now I am much more balanced, which is great, because that will take less pressure of my knees. My knees got 65% better than before ROLFING, but it's still not 100% but that just because my knees are born structurally different/crooked on the inside whereas normal people are straight. Whenever my knees hurt now, I will just do a few exercises that Manny taught me and my chiro taught me, then my knees usually won't hurt anymore. Before ROLFING, if I do the exercise that chiro taught me, it only works half the time. After ROLFING, the combo of ROLFING and chiro exercises work almost 90% of time. Quite amazing! The weirdest part of ROLFING is when of the session helps relax the tissues around your face. LOL. I was really quite surprised! But I guess the good thing is if you have a problem area on your face, i guess this will help relax/fix it.

I was recommended to The Rolf Workshop by my acupuncturist who I have been seeing for some years. I…read morehonestly didn't have a clue what modality this was, but I must say that it was an eye opener. I'm probably more in tuned with my body than an average person. I workout regularly and enjoy outdoor activities. I've also done many different workout formats from yoga to hardcore weight lifting. Manny has given me a new sense and level of body awareness and functionality. After every session, I felt like I was 6 feet tall (and I'm only 5'). He has given me activities to help activate muscles that have been dormant for some time. It's amazing what the body is capable of. I definitely plan to keep Rolf on my regular health maintenance plan. Thank you, Manny!

He is very astute at staying in tune with your status and progress, adapting as needed to carefully bring you back to full range of motion and strength. Much like the director of an action hero movie in which you get to be the star, Peter will bring out your best and help you shine and recover. Shout out to Samara and the front desk crew for making the whole experience as seamless and pleasant as possible. Thank you Peter and Rebound Team for the wonderful care!

I had a really disappointing first appointment with Kimberlee Soares at Rebound on Simpson Avenue…read morein Bend. She showed up 10 minutes late and seemed disinterested and impatient from the start. She gave me a few exercises for my shoulder after surgery, but the entire appointment felt rushed. What really bothered me was that she ended the session in less than 30 minutes because she said she had another client. I thought these appointments were supposed to last an hour, so I don't understand why I received less than half of the time I expected, especially after she arrived late. She also looked like she had just gotten out of bed, which only added to the impression that she wasn't prepared or interested in being there. I won't be going back to this location - NEVER AGAIN! I've had much better experiences at the Rebound on the west side, so I'll continue my care there instead.

This review has been a long time coming and honestly, I've had a lot of mixed emotion about writing…read moreit because I don't like bashing small businesses, but I feel completely taken advantage of and am saddened at the shady billing practices and integrity of this business. I was in a bad motorcycle accident last summer and started going to Living Well (I'm honestly not even sure how I found them as my memory of last summer is pretty nonexistent) for physical therapy for my knee and a severe head injury that I obtained after being hit. With the severity of the TBI (traumatic brain injury) I was dealing with - I should have been referred elsewhere - to someone who was better equipped and had the resources to help with my head injury. Being that I was pretty out of it most of the summer - I didn't see anything necesarily "wrong" with the treatment I was receiving but I was noticing over time that the "treatment" I was receiving did absolutely nothing for the cognitive issues I was having (and still am). Looking back it was complete negligence on their part. They had me coming in 3x a week for months and I saw little to no progress being made in my cognitive function - yes I was more coherant and I was able to move my neck better than when I first came in (thank you for that) but nothing was done for my severe head injury that would actually warrant me coming in as often as I was - except for of course, to rack up a massive bill that they would later come after me for. I'm going to assume most people aren't informed in all of the technicalities of accidents/insurance and how you are billed in light of these events (I wasn't and they knew this). On your vehicle - you have what's called a PIP policy (personal injury protection), when you are receiving medical treatment post accidents - all of your medical is billed through this policy and everything is 100% covered until your policy runs out, then it is billed through your regular medical insurance. After about the first month or so, the receptionist started to let me know that my insurance wasn't paying them out - which I found odd because they were paying out all of my other visits no problem (chiro and neurology visits). I asked my lawyer to speak with insurance in regard to this, as I was not legally allowed to communicate with them during an open investigation. We finally learned that Living Well only attempted to bill my insurance a few times (I would like to add - based on what we are able to see from my PIP ledger) over the 3.5 months I was receiving treatment and I racked up a $7200 bill - that should have ALL BEEN COVERED through my PIP policy. So when my PIP policy ran out from all the appointments I was going to (about 5-6 a week for all my care providers for months) they started trying to get me to sign paperwork to get a chunk of my settlement money (which the fine print, my lawyer deemed as unreasonable and advised me not to sign). What does this mean for Living Well? They get more money if they wait to bill me directly instead of insurance - about 2x more according to my lawyer. On top of all of this - they sent me a card THANKING me for sending them part of my settlement money - that I deserved to keep after almost having my life taken and months of PTSD that I had to work through. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone, I am saddened - I really liked Dr. Z, he seemed like a nice guy but I feel sick, I feel completely taken advantage of. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
