The reality at any facility is that staffing is a challenge and there are occasional long wait times. However, my mother found the staff to be very responsive and very caring. The therapy team was fantastic and very motivating. I highly recommend this facility for anyone needing either skilled or long term care.

Everyone was friendly from the ladies at the front office, to my nurse who took me back to the room, and to the doctor I had. I'm terrible with names and know a lot of people work here but I feel pretty confident saying overall it's a friendly place! Which is always helpful in a setting like this, especially since I still get nervous over everything... The nurse was great with giving me lots of information over a range of issues I've been having. I felt very comfortable with her. I felt comfortable with the doctor as well and I appreciated how well she explained everything she was doing/going to do step by step. That also helps with my nervousness! (For anyone curious, the removal was not as bad as I imagined. Even though she had trouble finding the strings and found that my IUD was lodged in a way it wasn't supposed to be, it still only felt as bad as a sudden, bad period cramp. I was wayyyy more worried than I needed to be!) I'll still be going to my primary for the majority of my checkups but this is now on my radar for more specific women's issues and I intend to come back here when I figure out what I want to do next for birth control. If you're a woman in the area, I can't recommend this place enough!

I saw 3 different therapists…read more With the exception of one (the only one that had had an injury similar to mine) simply prescribed 100% to the exact routine of what I found in numerous youtube.com videos. My therapy was "cookie cutter", generic, one-size fits all with zero consideration for my physical condition, age, or surgical history. Their management and administrative staff had zero clue on what the VA procedures for extending service or communicating with the VA were and continually tried to shift the blame to the VA, which resulted in a big gap in my treatment. This is despite the VA providing TAI explicit instructions additionally relayed by myself, and still couldn't do the simplest task of faxing a simple form to the VA on time. Despite numerous conversations with corporate administrative staff, Redmond, OR clinic office personnel, and clinic management, the issue was not resolved leaving me angry and frustrated. Upon me expressing my anger over their incompetence (non-threatening of any person at the clinic), the VA was contacted stating that I was threatening (I threatened to do what I am doing now, and that is write reviews); however, the VA police contacted me, which only ended with the officer determining that there was no need to even file a report on the matter as the claim was, in his words, "unfounded". I highly recommend, particularly if you are a veteran going through the VA system, to ask for any provider other than Therapeutic Associates Inc.

Our family had 6-8 appointments here, and while Katie Mercer is friendly, I can't recommend this…read morepractice. Katie tends to be long-winded, even when brevity is needed. Since appointments are billed by the minute, concise communication matters. Our main issue arose after a SIBO treatment follow-up. We ordered a test to see if the treatment worked and requested only the results--no appointment needed, as we knew our next steps. Twice we called, only to be told Katie insisted on discussing the results with us directly. Assuming this was like many offices where doctors deliver results directly, we expected no charge. Instead, we were billed for two phone calls--$140 in total--for what was essentially a mandatory visit, despite their policy of not charging for test results alone. When I asked for this to be corrected, I was told they were 'making it right by explaining their policy.' This was customer service at its worst. I hope $140 was worth losing a full family of paying clients.
