I had a really disappointing first appointment with Kimberlee Soares at Rebound on Simpson Avenue in Bend. She showed up 10 minutes late and seemed disinterested and impatient from the start. She gave me a few exercises for my shoulder after surgery, but the entire appointment felt rushed. What really bothered me was that she ended the session in less than 30 minutes because she said she had another client. I thought these appointments were supposed to last an hour, so I don't understand why I received less than half of the time I expected, especially after she arrived late. She also looked like she had just gotten out of bed, which only added to the impression that she wasn't prepared or interested in being there. I won't be going back to this location - NEVER AGAIN! I've had much better experiences at the Rebound on the west side, so I'll continue my care there instead. read more

I started seeing Trevor Nannini at Rebound to rehab after a femoral hip fracture. As an ultra runner and mountain athlete, I was terrified of sitting still and concerned about what was to come. Trevor not only helped me recover, but my return to running was incredibly smooth and quicker than expected. I probably listen to him more than any man in the world, and that is because he had my trust from the beginning. Trevor is patient, demonstrated every move, taught me not just what, but WHY we were doing each exercise, and since I understood it, I followed through on my homework. I have loved going to PT because I understand my body more than ever before and I have a better appreciation for running mechanics. Trevor also handled a few personal low points really well, always compassionate and understanding when I came in frustrated. I can't recommend him and the Rebound family enough. I had an accident in October and Peter was my therapist for the duration leading up to my surgery. He has a very skilled ability to find and assist recovery with exercises that get to the problem quickly. He definitely makes you work for it. So be prepared to put in the time but in doing so yields very positive results. I am going to be returning to Peter now that I'm post surgery for continued rehab. Can't speak highly enough of rebound and their program. I especially appreciate the office people. They're very good about communicating and keeping up to date with my appointments as well as helping me navigate reschedules when life seems to hit. The front desk receptionist and schedulers are, efficient, and also send reminders for the appointments. My Physical Therapist, Ryan Herold, was fantastic. He guided me through physical therapy post total knee replacement. His guidance was calibrated to my previous physical conditioning and expectations for recovery. Ryan was patient, exacting with his description of the exercise exercises which I would need to perform and importantly restrained me from over exercising. I appreciate Ryan's sense of humor, his communication skills, and his knowledge of kinesiology. i'm a disabled veteran and the VA has sent me to them for physical therapy for my neck and my shoulder it's extremely difficult after months to finally get an appointment then, I was informed that my therapist is leaving and that's the second time that's happened to me when I've started physical therapy here. Which means he doesn't really care about working there anymore or the patients under his care there because he's going someplace els. Which means I have to wait for appointments for a different physical therapist and go through their evaluation and I've lost all that time.. furthermore the male physical therapist did something shocking by his actions today by chasing and stalking me out to my car where I felt like I might have to call The police. It was an oh my God moment what the hell is going on with the people working here? Now I really appreciate the acupuncture. I had knee surgery in December and Peter has been helping me in the recovery ever since. This was a terrible, terrible service. I've been to many physical therapists over the years and this Peter was the worst ever. On top of that, the company charged $462 for the service (Eval, Therapeutic Exercises, Manual Therapy). I went up the road to the fabulous FOCUS and they charged only $160! I have put in a call to the supervisor to ask the balance to be waived but I'm not hopeful. read more

I did receive good service from the therapist. The billing department is horrible. They do not do their jobs. They say they'll resolve my issue but nothing has happened. The last guy I talked with just refused to do anything. I just want my secondary coverage billed but they haven't followed up on it. Had surgery 6 weeks ago and the post op visit recommended physical therapy. This company was chosen simply due to location and recognition. I could tell from the momet I called this place is a s**t show. The woman on the other line was annoyed she answered the phone, there was loud noises in the backgorund and was not paying atttention enough to schedule the initial consult. I was placed on "hold" (set the phone down) "can you hold on a minute" I guess. When she came back she had no idea who she was speaking to and said she had to call me back. I wish I had her name. This place is like most healthcare in central Oregon, out of date, excuses on the front end and just plain awful. Recommendation: find and independent provider. read more

Terrible billing and customer service. I recieved a bill in late 2023, and paid it in full to the exact amount on the final 2023 bill. When I went to a different Rebound PT for a different injury, all of a sudden in May of 2024, an extra $110 was added to my bill, supposedly for something they made a mistake on in 2023. I sent a copy of the final bill from 2023 with proof of payment. I explained and sent copies of my bills and payments. Two different woman in their billing department told me it was their mistake and a "glitch in the system", yet I kept getting a bill every month. I spoke to many women who said they'd look into it but never got back to me. I wrote many letters with proof of payment. They sent it to Collections with a note from Rebound saying that I did not respond to their attempts to reach me- WHAT?? Such a scam that I was being charge $275- $525 per visit when every visit was exactly the same where I would do the EXACT same excerices that were on paper on my plan that I would do at home. It is a scam. Gave them my insurance and they never said anything about it nor told me that it was out of network. After every appointment I asked how much I needed to pay and they said nothing, don't worry about it. Happened three times after thirty minutes of a dude massaging my neck. Next, I get a bill for $750. I try to bring it up because my insurance said they paid for it and said I only owe $350. Rebound says they didn't and I still owe $750. If I knew my appointments were $200 each I wouldn't have gone. This is now an issue between my insurance and Rebound yet Rebound is kinda just like "tough luck man! you owe us almost a grand". Best part is, after communicating with people about it this isnt the first time!! Be careful. read more

Perhaps there are too many cannabis shops in Bend, hence the stingy 3-star rating for this wonderful business? I can only speak to my experience, which has been outstanding. If you need physical therapy, something bad happened to you. If you select Aurora (physical therapist) + Annette (massage therapist) to help you, something good will happen to you. You'll get two hard working women who will do everything in their power to help you get better. I won't go into many details of my health problems but I have had more than 100 physical therapy appointments at this and another location of Rebound, so I know a lot about this place. My more recent problem is quite serious and, although I have traveled to see many doctors around the country, I can honestly say that none have helped me as much as Aurora and Annette. This dynamic duo are hard-working, caring, and, most importantly, very good at their jobs. I wish I could take them with me wherever I go, but sadly, I don't think physical/massage therapist trafficking/hostage taking is legal. Thank you! read more

After a total knee replacement, I was unable to scheduled with the Rebound Clinic that was only a mile from my home, so I scheduled instead for two weeks at the Rebound in southwest Bend. My plan was to transfer to the closer clinic after the first two weeks. However, I quickly realized I had won the lottery as I started working with John Chapter, PT, DRPT, CSCS. John was amazing. Even though I had to travel further in winter weather, I decided to continue with John. He was always incredibly organized, he really listened and responded to my questions and concerns, and he carefully explained and modeled, when necessary, each exercise. Because of John's commitment to my recovery, I worked really hard at both my PT appointments and doing my "homework" exercises. With John's encouragement and expertises, I continued to increase my mobility and experience less pain. If I ever need PT again, I will schedule in a heartbeat with John Chapter. He is truly the very best! read more

My teenage son is being treated here to recover from a dislocated patella and torn MCL. The goal is to get him well, my son's goal is to be fully recovered for snowboard season. His physical therapist has met the challenge and (in my opinion) gone above and beyond the call of duty to make this happen. She has really taken the time to get to know my son and work with him to help him reach his goals. Including having him bring in his skateboard and watched him ride in the parking lot (helmet required) to assess his skills and ability. She's worked him hard, but has tried to accommodate things like school field trips with special instructions. Bottom-line is she's working his program to maximize his recovery time while allowing him to still be a kid. Joy had done a great job communicating with both parents. Take home instructions are clear. Great care, great therapist, convenient location and nice facility. Joy and Rebound are awesome. read more

Prior to my husbands first appointment, he called to find out if there would be a copay and what his insurance would cover. They clearly state on their website that they will look up your insurance coverage if you contact them directly. His insurance has an in-network relationship with them.He was told that they could not verify his insurance until a few days before his first visit, so he was asked to call back later. He called the day before his first visit, gave them his insurance information, and they told him that there would be no copay and everything would be covered by his insurance. At his first visit, prior to leaving, he verified again that insurance would be covering his visits and that he didn't owe a copay. The receptionist AGAIN told him that he had NO copay and that his visits would be covered in full by his provider. Much to our surprise we have just received a bill from Rebound and according to them we will be receiving another shortly. I started researching further into this matter after receiving the bill. Rebound PT in Bend has multiple complaints filed against them with the BBB, some unanswered. There are also numerous complaints on Yelp and various other sites stating that the same exact situation has happened to other consumers. It is my firm belief that what they are doing and how they are conducting business is extremely unethical. Jacob, the billing manager, has not responded, and Tina, the other manager, is not available to take my call. read more

Jay Dichary is my physical therapist who was recommended by my chiropractor. He wrote books and is well known, so even though he is at rebound, he has his own scheduler. She is amazing. I did have an issue with actually setting up an appointment. I had called and left a message and nobody ever called me back. After two weeks I called again and got a person, and then they connected me with Jay's scheduler who is super responsive and texts me the day of to remind me of my appointment. I haven't had issues with billing but I definitely always have to wait. Usually 20 min after my scheduled appointment. The first girl who checked me in my first appt was unfriendly and rather snippy. She didn't even look at me and then said, "your name" while still staring at the computer. The second girl was much nicer. She made eye contact and smiled. I like Jay so far, but they definitely make you wait. read more

The receptionists were nice enough but I had to approach them. I have responsibilities, a job, and family that I took time away from to come to this appointment. I will not pay good money to a company that is this unprofessional. So very disrespectful and unprofessional. Went once to the Simpson Rebound and had to switch. I liked my therapist well enough, and the staff seems nice, but this place needs new management. The first appt only came after I left 3 messages before getting a call back, then 5 messages (to make a second appt) and still never received a return call. The bed I was on had tears and holes in it. Unless you got a lot of free time, stay away. I placed one call to the Rebound South on 97. Night and day! From the beginning, the receptionist was not up to date on insurance requirements, and it required my insurance company calling them telling them NO DOCTOR REFERRAL REQUIRED. When I arrived, they were so programmed the same receptionist was rattling off the same old story. It was as if she'd not been paying attention to the insurance company telling her personally that no doctor referral is required. Not too bright. If a company isn't training, and perhaps in this case, hiring intelligent staff, it doesn't say much about the company being top tier. The therapy rooms are FREEZING! When the PT ask me to take off my shirt, I told her it was too cold. This is a building modified to their specs. What an oversight. The PT seemed pleasant, but either having a bad day, stressed about something, or simply distracted, but I didn't feel much more cared for than a widget on an assembly line. read more

Pablo Gomez is my PT and he has done an excellent job getting me from unable to walk long distances to getting back to my physical activity. it is a long slow process. The admin side of the house could be stronger, but that is not what I am there for. Their billing department took a long time to give me an actual price. They told me my insurance "covered" the visits and then a month after going to therapy regularly I got the bill and none of it was covered. Every time I went in, I asked them to tell me how much a session was and they could not tell me and said the billing department was going to call me which they never did and that it was all covered so I didn't think I had to worry. So buyer beware! Do not trust the billing department and make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. That being said the therapist was insightful and helpful but the sessions were about 30 minutes max for an astronomical fee. The therapy entailed getting a list of exercises for homework while talking to other patients at the same time, and then shown out the door, no icing heating or much massage (2 out of 7 times I went), seemed like not much bang for the big bucks. read more

Joy Torbett was my physical therapist for several weeks while I was repairing a frozen shoulder. Not only is Joy professional and "knows her stuff", but she was extremely personable and understanding throughout the pain. The staff was very friendly and the massage therapists were exceptional. I always felt better when I left my appointments and am grateful to have found a great physical therapy group in Bend. Very highly recommend! read more
