He's amazing, full stop: attentive, knowledgeable about many aspects of PT, and a high-level athlete himself.

Type of care was the worst !! Care quality was horrible !!…read moreI'm 61yrs old, with no issues other then a sudden spinal cord injury, which left me partially paralyzed from the waist down. I was there for what they claim to be, physical therapy and care, for just 12 days before my family filed complaints and threatened a lawsuit, and got me out of there...Thank God !! It was a nightmare ! Please never believe this place is what they claim ! I saw elderly people, treated horribly...it broke my heart to see. They, need to be shut down !! Them, and any other place like it !!

Don't expect a private room or bath even tho promised one…read more Night one, roommate needed assistance, my daughter and then later my granddaughter had to help her because our nurse light was not responded to in over 22 minutes. The shared bathroom was deplorable! The food was not edible. My roomie told them she's diabetic they served her mac and cheese, roll, yellow cake and Lasagna. The best part was medicine. I asked for my meds and stated that just being transferred from hospital i didn't recall when i last took my pain medicine ( opioids) she said oh im sure it was eons ago ill go get ya some. I said, well dont you know? she replied, no, guess i could call someone. it took her 33 min to bring in a portion of meds and said, i ll need to go try and track down the rest. roommate claims nurse said she couldn't give hers until 4 more hours, they skipped a whole dose. she claims the nurse kept hers. The nurses stood outside my door at 10:15 pm howling, carrying on about boys. i barely made it up and asked if they could carry on elsewhere. 3 am nurses came into room turned on lights and talked very loudly to roommate. Again, please night time voices. This should be by passed in your search, even if physical therapy is good or not. You will not rest or be nourished therefore, you will not heal.

My family and my brother's friends hired Matt in the hopes of setting my brother on a better path…read morewith his addiction and mental health. I personally chose to move forward with a professional interventionist because I was told by his healthcare team, "If you want to feel like you did everything possible, hire a professional." And It is honestly the best decision I have made when it comes to dealing with addiction and mental health. I interviewed several interventionists, but Matt stood out. He doesn't just understand addiction because of his own lived experiences-- he understands the entire family system around it. His approach is thoughtful, observant, and tailored to the people involved. He prepares you thoroughly for the intervention and stays by your side until your loved one completes treatment and is officially discharged. What happens to your loved one is truly ultimately in your loved one's hands -- but thanks to Matt, we knew that regardless of the outcomes we were able to raise my brother's "rock bottom" and created an opportunity for change and the first step to a longer road for both of us. One of the most important lessons I learned through this process is truly understanding when they say addiction is a family disease. That means being open to exploring your own role in the dynamic -- including enabling, codependency, and how we unintentionally reinforce certain behaviors. Matt gave me the tools to reflect on my part in this. It was a hard pill to swallow, but a necessary one. The only real way we can help our loved ones -- and ourselves -- is by being willing to change the dance and dynamics we create, even when it's the hardest thing to do. Matt prepares you for all outcomes, even the ones that don't go as hoped. From day one, he was professional, empathetic, and direct. He's upfront about the process, contracts, payments, and refund policies -- no fine print, just clarity. For anyone considering hiring an interventionist, know this: you're investing in a process with no guaranteed outcome. It's a 50/50. That's the reality -- and it's why some of the negative reviews I've seen about Matt, they feel unfair and out of context. This was not our experience. Addiction and mental illness are messy. And no one person can fix it. But Matt gave us structure, stability, and support when we needed it most. I would hire and recommend Matt and his team again without hesitation, time and time again. If you follow his guidance, stay open to the deeper family work, and manage your expectations, you'll find peace knowing you did everything you could -- no matter what happens next.

I'd echo the other one-star reviews here. Paid his fees, bought him plane tickets because,…read morealthough he appeared to live in the Austin area he actually did not. Showed up at the intervention and talked to my son. Son refused to go so he left. Later when son changed his mind Freedom Interventions was unavailable to escort him. I ended up doing his work. Family counseling was also promised and never happened. Do not use. $7k for next to nothing.
