I've been a customer at this establishment for many many years. The one thing that still continues to happen every now and then are that some of the tenders are just not careful when packing certain products. Certain products need to only be right side up. It's not fun scraping product off the lids. Please the ever so careful packing concentrates. The prices are super pocket friendly. The tax is already included in the price that you see in the menu. Certain days have different deals. Cash only read more

This is my favorite dispensary in SJ, super cheap prices with tax included on their menu, always in and out within 5 minutes even just doing walk in. Never had issues here been going a couple years. If you know what you want and you're just trying to buy weed this is the place to go read more

This place went embarrassingly downhill so I stopped going. Happened to get an email offering me $20 off and thought "ok $20 off is worth another shot." Showed up to pick up my order and was told "oh actually that's only for people who haven't been here in 45 days" and was refused the discount by both the cashier and manager. Nowhere in the email was this mentioned, as you can see in the photo below. Wasted trip but at least I know I'm not missing anything here and don't have to risk being robbed or stabbed anymore. Theraleaf - DISCOUNT BAIT AND SWITCH - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - San Jose, California

Theraleaf San Jose - Still a Budget Gem, But Know the Inventory Game (Updated 9/1/25) I've been a Theraleaf regular for 4+ years, and it's still one of the Bay's best budget dispensaries. Prices are hard to beat, especially if you know when to shop. That said, inventory is very limited and moves fast. Between cherry-picking and people buying wholesale to stock up, it's truly first come, first serve. Online orders are not guaranteed, even if you check out first. I've made the trek from the peninsula more than once just to be told by a budtender that the item was already gone. PSA: if you order online, make sure you actually hit the "Thank you for your purchase" screen. They occasionally have checkout errors, and if you don't confirm, you'll be let down and ass-out on gas. On the plus side, Thursdays are still solid--Raw Garden extracts for $20 out the door is a legit bargain. Their premium live rosin, however, is usually very limited, and there's rarely a clear restock timeline. Even the buyers can't always say when it's coming back. I did recently run into an issue where I was overcharged compared to the online price. Initially, the response was pretty indifferent. But to their credit, management followed up after my review, owned the mistake, and made it right. That goes a long way. Bottom line: Theraleaf is still a go-to if you're budget-minded and flexible. Just manage expectations, double-check your totals, and don't assume an online order means it's waiting for you. Still shopping here--just smarter about it now. No love lost. read more

It's gotten worse at this place. Online order waiting in line with nobody else in the store. Some random walk up customer comes in behind me and the girl with the sleepy eyes calls him ahead of me. Why bother to place an online order to wait for the people who don't get helped first. I guess the trade off is decent price but shitty service. read more

Right by the crib and they're open at 6am!!! What more could we ask for!?! Got that locals vibe! We love giving Theraleaf our business! read more

I just wanted to give recognition to a budtender I believe his name is Fabian, he introduced me to product called CBX and it is a better priced product compared to what's I usually go for. Overall great quality service he even let me know about deals on products I purchase which I never knew about. Great experience, great selection, and great recommendation. Thanks again! read more

Many times I get pre rolls form here, open it out the jar and all the tree falls out . Or I speak the j and it falls out. This time I was lucky to be careful. Luckily I only come here when I travel from San Diego every 2 months. But man, I've never seen a dispensary full of miserable sad people. They are aware they don't have to work there, right? 90% of staff are rude. Security team is nice and like 2-3 workers are great. Some Asian guy employee is super nice and patient . And 2 females are nice. The rest are horrible, give attitude , blame you if they don't hear correctly and give you a different product. read more

I was so let down by this place...I'm from Oregon originally so I only come to SJ when I'm visiting my parents. I heard this was one of the cheapest places for flower so I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake... I got this big nosed girl with glasses who was rude from the jump. After driving 20 mins and waiting in line, mind you, i asked her if she can recommend me any edibles that'll last me until Thursday or Friday.... I ask questions like this all the time at other dispensaries and never had a problem. Now, Idk if she didn't hear me because the music was too loud or something, but she seemed to be very confused by this VERY simple question. In the rudest tone, She replied by saying, "ummm...idk? It depends on what you want?" You didnt answer my question...and whats with the attitude? I wanted to ask for someone else right then and there but it was busy, so i decided not to. Maybe we just got off on the wrong foot or something....But nah, she was rude throughout the whole interaction. She kept interrupting me mid sentence, and proceeded to give me an attitude with every question i asked. I got so fed up that i started to give her one word answers and gave her the same stank attitude back. She clearly saw that i was upset so the rest of the interaction was very quiet and awkward...i only ended up getting one thing bc i didnt want to bother talking to her anymore. I would've spent a lot more money if Ms. Budtender of the year would've been a little nicer. Oh and the cherry on top of the sundae was when i was leaving, she didnt say, "have a good night!" Or "please come again!" This little girl really said, "I hope you have a better day" in the usual nasty tone. So unbelievably rude...That is what prompted me to write this review. Luckily, I ran into a manager on my way out and I gave her a brief rundown. Im writing this review to give the business owner the whole story. Just in case if lil girl tries to spin another tale...The manager seemed nice and said she would talk to her so i guess not all the budtenders are jerks like that...But you're never gonna catch me back here again. Almost an HOUR of my life wasted. I Do not recommend this place to anyone. Prices aren't even THAT cheap. They're cash only too...womp womp. Just go to Exotix, it's so much better... read more

Im a regular here but things changed. Line is long. Also the service isn't the same as before.

If you have read Peter T. Review of Theraleaf it basically spot on for what this place is in my experience. If you are only concern with prices then Theraleaf has amazing prices on the very limited selection they have. They have the prices listed online as what you will be paying in store. Usually no price issues here. However that is where the positives end. During peak hours the parking lot is a nightmare. Good luck finding parking if you go during a busy time. Make sure you don't bring a lowered car here. The parking lot is full of potholes and disrepair. The security people are generally very nice but the other customers can be rude and disrespectful. If it's a sporting event day or weekend it can get nasty. The budtenders are more miss than hit. When I ask questions about products they sometimes don't know or say I dont use that stuff. Then when asked why they say something that doesn't apply to the product. For example if I ask about STIIIZY and what are the pros and cons. They will say I don't know I don't like them so I can't tell you. Then I will follow up oh so what don't you like about them. The best answer I got was "I dunno I don't buy STIIIZY". Not very helpful. On the flip side I can get some nicer people but it's only a handful of times. Generally you better know what you want because they haven't been the most knowledgeable out there. When you come here understand that it is CASH ONLY and there is no Cell Phones when inside. I don't know why that is such a hard thing to follow. Lines can get jammed up when customers aren't following the rules. Lastly I have dealt with there return policy and in my opinion if you get something bad or defective. You're going to be out of luck. I tried returning something that was broken only to be told they were not going to do a thing for me and I was S.O.L. I only had a positive experience when I came back in like 30 minutes when they Shorted me on my stuff and I had to drive back. CHECK YOUR STUFF BEFORE GOING HOME BUT OPEN THE BAG NOT ON PROPERTY. You get 5/5 prices but you are going to get 2/5 service and selection from them. So keep that in mind. I thought I wouldn't have a bad experience here which is true 3/5 times but I rarely have a positive experience here. read more

1 of my top dispos in SJ, not only that theres been this new girl named Crystal and her customer service game top tier! Always recommending the best raw garden carts and flavors. I have been coming here for many years the budtenders are very respectful and they give you the best bang for your buck.

I've had a few hiccups with this place in the past with them getting my order wrong, but it's a solid dispensary with really fair prices. Sometimes the employees were too lit and took a while to find some items for me/ told me they didn't have it but it was on display. But I get that people make honest mistakes and see that they made an effort to change their work ethic. They have fair prices for the brands they carry in store. read more

Usually, one of my go to spots they always got good deals but lately some of the people they've been having it feels like they don't even wanna help you with what you're asking for. I've been coming here for the last 10 years and I'm getting tired of these kind of interactions I show up I ask do you guys have any good sativa you recommend do you want an eighth a quarter or a half it doesn't matter I'm just looking for a good sativa and they repeat the same thing on what size do I want like girl it doesn't matter I'm trying to ask you about the sativa's and then you start asking them about a certain one and it seems like a chore just to even ask a question. Super monotone as responses like she don't even wanna be there. I ask her about one of the pre-rolls. Oh I don't know I ask about another one. I don't know I ask about the third one. I don't know like bro do you not work there? read more

Thank to the budtender Crystal for budtending me. I haven't been in the store in years. I was looking for a specific 'sleep' edible. Crystal took her time to lookup the product requested and found it! Thanks to the staff, I was in N out! The price was good, I'll definitely return! read more

this place has been my go to since turning 21 and it's always a nice spot to pick up products from, i'm very THC friendly so I recommend this place to anyone and everyone around my area since all the things they have are very desirable. one of the best in the South Bay and probably the entire Bay Area! read more

Top notch service with patient and knowledgeable staff. Safe surrounding area with plenty of parking. Wide selection to meet your needs with the best value in town. Pro tip: order online if you know what you want. They have a dedicated line for online orders. When it's necessary, they have the window in the lobby to handle online orders as well. In my experience, you get in and out in less than 15mins. read more

This is the first dispensary I've been to with no military veteran discount. I heard great things but won't be returning back.

They are no longer tax-free. They used to have good prices until today. Went today for their deals. My order should have been $26 off, I should have paid around $66 but they now charge tax which was $26. I ended up paying $92, they used to have the best prices around. read more

Another one... Looks like I have to drive to SC and waste time and gas just to be able to get reliable service. Put in my order at 8 AM today for an ounce of Purple Runtz testing at 32%, specifically put in the comments to pull my order right away because I was going to be coming after work. Got there at 5:20 PM to find out that they didn't have what I ordered AGAIN Now I have an ounce that tests about 10% less than what I ordered. If someone would have bothered to give me a call, I could have saved myself the trip there. FIRE YOUR INVENTORY EMPLOYEES, you shouldn't be having such a constant discrepancy between your physical inventory and your website; your inventory employees should be making sure that everything is correct on a daily basis. read more

Great selection and sales daily. Best prices that I've seen in San Jose and the Bay Area since I've been here. The budtenders are cool and they answer whatever questions I had without pressuring me to get stuff I don't want. Love coming to this spot read more

I went in and this fat lady sold me a cartridge when I specifically asked for a disposable. Didn't warn me like the other workers that what she was selling me was a cartridge. I had to drive back, confirmed with a supposed manager over the phone that it was cool to exchange since it wasn't my fault and didn't open then cartridge. Just for them to tell me it's final sale. Why would I ask for a cartridge when I don't have a battery. Get it together. read more

The registration is complete ignorant they do not know how to read simple documents and give attitude when you try to explain anything. I was until today a loyal customer to this establishment. I am a handsome, and intelligent individual, not to mention funny. And so, I have noticed barely contain hostility from the male staff. So I thought, since I am Bi, maybe, the one male staff member who is gorgeous, I could pay him a compliment, and as a result the females - who are intelligent, friendly and frankly too good for such a homophobic cut rate shop - would stop paying as much attention to me, and try to get him. This was was my intent, and so, for my effort in trying to pay this gentleman a compliment, and simultaneously give him a competitive edge against me, I was of course gay bashed by harsh and cruel words, then subsequently banned from this shop. If you are Bi or Gay this is not the shop for you. read more

honestly if i could give 0 stars i would. prices dope, but if it's ur first time-- u almost gotta like treat the workers like they're clueless and stay on top of all ur products before dipping. they owed me a first-time deal, and shawty rung me up when the first thing i said was first time customer. she was frazzled so okay happens human error, but the fact that the store policy was no discount after the mistake was made on the store's side is highly disappointing. i came with one goal, and idk about yall but dispo runs can make me feel better when low and this was not a good experience. SMH, if human error happens the customer should fix it and it's sad that they ain't playing with the big dawgs like that. highkey the worker lame for that, but the store policy is what i'm advising everyone to be weary about!!! 0 returns for either. i was tryna help shawty out like okay it's defective lemme return this then give me my first time, shawty looking like i called her a slur; so disappointed and only wanna express this to others so u don't suffer the same. ima get lit and ye this place is womp womp with how on top u gotta be on ur on stuff; you'd think the workers and shop would have ur back but ur fighting for good deals by using ur brains to make sure u don't get jipped. hopefully this doesn't happen ever again as i will always be on top of every product double, triple checking so this never happens again. smhhhhhh read more

Damn!! Theraleaf has fell off. They used to sell very good strains for great prices. No longer the case. And now, they have their own in-house grow by the name of Union. (Not to be confused with Union Electric, a way better growing op) I picked up the Super Silver Haze 1/4 for $35 and it was DRY! Called from the parking lot to let them know about the flower and I was told to come back in. Once I returned, the manager seen the bag was opened and I could not return it. It is not a great batch and I wouldn't expect them to resell it so it surprised me a bit. Sent the corporate office an email and will see if they can rectify the situation. Doubt it as I'm just a speck on their balance sheet. Try Lakeside Remedy, Kushagram and California Patients Club for better pricing and understanding of a batch is not what is supposed to be. read more

Love coming to this spot for many reason's always a chill mellow vibe entering the building it might not be the most appealing from the outside however the staff inside from the security at the Check in the to the budd tenders at the counters are always positive and helpful:) If your in San Jose or local this should be one of your Top 3 if not top spot they offer many deals weekly on numerous brands my favorite being 710 Sundays ! Plus no hidden tax or fee's what price you see is what price you pay some days even with a deal on top of that ! However cash only so come prepared , if not they do have ATM. overall the selection here is great, the staff is on point, & the value overall is as good as it gets in the Bay Area ! I would rate this dispensary 5 Stars for the reasons I listed above. I have shopped locally at the majority if not all dispensaries please do your research some items at other dispensaries could be 30$ or more per item with taxes and other card fee's so be careful and Keep Killing it out here for the people Theraleaf Relief !!! read more

They used to have the best prices on cartridges of San Jose that included the taxes with the sticker price. The sticker price now still includes taxes but there have been price hikes, making the prices higher than some delivery services charge for products. The selection is either pretty great or they're out of stock on everything. The folks with Theraleaf are still courteous, but it seems they reduced staffing, at least when I'm there, making the wait and price a bit extra. I prefer to make it a day: go to SF or SC, getting better prices, bigger selection, and less wait-in-line time, and then go for a hike than to wait extra time for product I could pay less to get delivered. read more

Theraleaf is the best dispensary in San Jose, hands down with no competition! I've been coming here for years and they treat me like family. It's pretty rare to receive such great customer service in this industry but Theraleaf goes above and beyond! They have a huge selection of every product category. And they have the best pricing! I really like how the price advertised is the price that you pay. & they have a very convenient preorder system that makes shopping here a breeze!
