Mom & Pop fast Greek food. I had the Gyro Supreme w/ small Greek salad for $14 and change. Felt they are above the market on price, although the Supreme upgrade gave me dbl meat and added feta to the tradition gyro you would normally get. The Gyro was great. I loved it. In my own opinion, if they wanted to set themselves apart, the would charge less for the supreme and make it the standard, then to me, it would be a wow. Don't judge me for saying that, I just wasn't that impressed for the price. Now in that price I got a lg beverage and the small Greek salad. Yeh, again, it was good, no complaints, but not overly impressed either. Iceberg lettuce, oil, vinegar, feta, a few pcs of tomato, 4 kalamata olives, and a banana pepper. It was a decent size but nothing I would go out if may for. Hey, don't get me wrong, the meal was good. Again, no complaints. I just look for something that sets a place above a competitive advantage. Theos advantage is that they are close to my house and their food is good. I'll eat here again but it's not the place I'll tell visiting friends from out of town that they have to check this place out. It's a good fast food Greek joint. read more

Ordered for delivery...and this has to be some of the very best southern fried chicken I've ever had. Perfectly fried, so the skin was extra crispy, but the inside was succulent and tender. I want to try more of the sides, since the cole slaw was REALLY good, a bit tangy and sweet at the same time, and the hush puppies!! WOW, moist but not gummy, and really crispy, the ideal size to get the outside and inside balanced (with bits of nice chewy corn kernels. HELLO!) Fresh-Fresh-Fresh and consistently delicious! This is a family run restaurant that has heart and soul. The Mediterranean dishes are outstanding, try the falafel sandwich and tabbouleh salad. The fried chicken is not over breaded and not greasy. Perfectly fried and seasoned, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. There are a variety of sauces, hummus, tzatziki, tahini and hot sauce, they are all delicious. The hot sauce and tzatziki are great on the fried chicken. The tahini and hummus are great on the falafels. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. It's obvious the owners take pride in the food they serve and from my experience they are lovely people and take very good care of their customers. Thank you John, Irena and Family, well done! I remember when theo's was on michigan ave, I always saw a multitude of people flood into this small diner around 12 noon. While being indecisive on what I wanted to eat a co worker insisted I give Theos kitchen a try, and boy am I glad that I did. Since then I have been an avid supporter of the "cluck club" ( a fan of the chicken dinners), fried to perfection and well seasoned . The gyros and Greek salads happen to be another one of my favs. I will always continue to support Theos as long as they continue to make great food. read more

Surprisingly some of the best chicken wings in town. Not greasy and great sauce to compliment. Also amazing Gyros. All in all a great place.

Came here for the first time today, for lunch. Had the chicken shawarma and it was pretty good. The chicken was well seasoned and the tahini sauce was yummy! The pita was lightly toasted and soft. My friend had the gyro king and said it was good- the meat wasn't the tenderest, and the tzaziki sauce was more like a spread, very thick. My son and I got takeout. I got Codfish with hush puppies and a roll. I've been searching all over town for good codfish and I have yet to find it. Theo's childish was skinny little pieces that tasted nothing like codfish..the hush puppies were ok,much like the frozen ones at the grocery store. I also had baked beans that were fairly good My son ordered the chicken wings and they were nice plump wings and he said they were "pretty good". I have tried Theo's in the past and I will say they have good fried chicken but they really need to work on the fish. read more

Great tasty food, large and varied menu. Everything I have ever tried there has always been good, I haven't come across a single dud. I was also surprise to see fried chicken available at a Greek restaurant, and while I'm not a fan of friend chicken, my friend who's had it a few times claims it is some of the best fried chicken you can get in Orlando. The service could be a bit friendlier and the menu has no descriptions of what each item is, so you have to ask if you have questions, but I've never had any issues with them. I do hear that they are closing after Thanksgiving and they are reopening near SoDo after the new year. This should give them a chance to make the restaurant look nicer. And I hope they do good business at the new location because I'd hate to lose a local restaurant with delicious food. read more

Absolutely phenomenal. The fried chicken is so juicy beyond belief. Usually my wife pulls off the skin because she is health conscious about eating fried food.. and when she does there is nothing left but a lot of bone and very little meat. This time she pulled off the skin to expose a HUGE breast of chicken on her plate and the meat just fell off the bone. I like the dark meat and the thigh, drumstick, and wing were excellent. This place has got KFC beat hands down. The mashed potatoes were perfect and the coleslaw was heavenly. I wish I can have a whole gallon jug of it! All of the food was FRESH! the chicken, the slaw, the mashed potatoes, everything was FRESH, fresh, fresh.... even the rolls... did I say fresh? lol I also ordered 5 hot wings, a gyro sandwich for later, and I got my wife a huge greek salad. The price I paid for all of this food was reasonable, and definitely competitive. THe service was excellent. I did not have to wait that long for the food. DESPITE the fact that I did not call ahead like they asked, I am very pleased with the customer service. THey treated me very well. I will definitely be back... it is a matter of WHEN, not IF. I came here on a whim, remembering all the good reviews I had read. I was an overcast/sprinkly day & I walked in & busted my a$$ on the extremely wet floor. the lady at the counter looked VERY mad that I (intentionally?) decided to injure myself, lol. I wasn't hurt or anything, a carpet by the door or "wet floor" sign would've been helpful. (with no apologies) The menu was very simple & non descriptive. I was hoping for some sort of sample platter that had a small variety of all their items but I couldn't find anything like that. I was craving tabouleh today & explained I was hoping for some tabouleh & hummus & a side of pita. She said she could make something like that for me. (spent $6!) She brought out a pita sandwhich stuffed with the tabouleh & hummus. It was super good! This really was the best tabouleh I have ever had, & the pita bread was SO perfect. The texture + toastiness was perfect. On my way out, they brought out a wet floor sign (G, thanks) Very impressed with the food, not the service. But will be back! read more

I am from Chicago so I know a good gyro I went here after all the great reviews here I walk up they have pictures of gyro's all over the front of the store. I do not like onions of tomato on mine so it was just the meat and sauce. I unwrapped it to see a pita folded to what looked like a suit of sauce, i further dissected it to see there was 4/5 pieces of meat stacked in the middle under a sea of sauce. I was horribly disappointed it was a waste of money and I had to go home and make something else for lunch to fill me up. read more

Well, I went here because my husband tells me that they have the best fried chicken ever. So, on Christmas Eve I went there to get a quick dinner. I got 9 pieces of fried chicken (3 were wings :( ), two sides and 3 rolls (which they forgot to put in my bag) for $18. The atmosphere is not very friendly and if a known customer walks in the unknown customer (me) gets ignored for a few minutes. The waitress even stopped filling my order to run and get the "known" customer's order (that's probably when she forgot my rolls!). That being said, the chicken was OK at best. I did like the fact that is was very lightly coated and was more chicken than coating. So - I tried the dinner. The chicken was OK, the mashed potatoes were instant and not very good, the coleslaw was watery, the rolls were - well missing. This will be my first and last visit. read more

A small family run "Mediterranean Restaurant" located in an eclectic strip shopping center on Curry Ford. For a small place, they have a huge menu that includes Greek items, Fried Chicken, seafood, even gizzards! Unfortunately, most everything is frozen and thrown into the fryer. Considering they specialize in Greek food, it's disappointing their Gyro meat is frozen, pre-sliced and warmed on the grill instead of carved off one of those vertical rotisserie's you see in many Greek Restaurants. With Mediterranean Blue just a six minute drive away, Theo's needs to step up their act. It appears they also have a steady take-out business. read more

Theo's has an eclectric mix on their menu, fried chicken, chicken wings and greek food. We tried 3 of their greek dishes and they were very nice. The salad was not the best greek salad I've tried, but I've been spoiled by dining in Tarpon Springs for many years. The facility is new, spotless and very upscale for a neighborhood place. The Greek salad with grilled chicken is fantastic. The dressing is homemade and it's one of the best Greek dressings I've ever had. Chicken was tender and flavorful. This has been a neighbourhood staple for years now. Get the chicken platter, not sure what they do to the meat but it's delicious. Hummus is thick and creamy and I like that they add cucumber to their tabouli. Greek salad and spanakopita is the best in town. Not only that but the owners are so sweet and work really hard.
