First off, if I was a younger man, I would be courting Adelle, the young lady who runs the operation... Always smiling and kind, she smiles right through the mask! For those of you who don't know, this is HANDS DOWN, best fried chicken in Central Florida, drop the mic sort of good... Don't let the Greek menu fool you, skip it, hit the fried chicken... Not saying the Greek is bad, just sayin, that's some smack your momma goodness!! read more

Soooooooo, I went with moderate expectations and they surpassed ALL my wishes. The supreme gyro was absolutely perfect! I don't even like feta cheese but it tasted phenomenal and I ate it all! The chicken was to die for!! The perfect blend of seasoning and crunch with moist (and yes fully cooked with no pink) insides. The service was down right homey and welcoming and pretty fast....considering they cooked the chicken right when I ordered it!! Not really large inside and seating is at a premium but if you time it right, you can get a seat pretty quickly. All in all a very pleasurable surprise and I will return! read more

Really excellent food, the best Greek in town if you ask me! You can order ahead on a super simple app (Clover) and it is always ready for pickup quickly. Excellent customer service, the kind of place where you can tell everyone is invested and wants you to have a great experience. One of the best places to get takeout during Covid. We eat here weekly and I wish it could be more! read more

Low key have some really good fried chicken. Had a side Greek salad that was equally good too.

We stopped here after grocery shopping at Winn Dixie next door because it was late, we were super hungry, and feeling too lazy to go home and make dinner. You order your food at the counter and there are several tables inside to eat at if you choose. We opted to get ours to go. Both myself and my girlfriend got the Gyro King, which is a gyro with feta added. We both also got small fries. The fry portion was more than adequate. The stuffing inside the gyro felt a little skimpy, though. It was good! I'd say it's a step above fast food. The girl who took our order greeted us with a smile and brought our food out to us when it was ready. In short, it's cheap, quick, and tasty. read more

We love the chicken, French fries, coleslaw and rolls. Been enjoying this place for many years. read more

I got the chicken gyro and feta fries. Customer service was excellent, we ordered at the counter for take out and she walked the order to our table when it was ready. The food was fresh and it was a large serving! Also the gyro came with a lot of delicious tzaziki sauce, so you probably don't need to ask for extra. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quick yummy Greek food. read more

If you like Greek food or Mediterranean food -- or just GOOD HEALTHY FOOD, then Theo's is the place for you. Best hummus. (I won't name the chain where we go sometimes for their salmon kabobs, but their hummus is not nearly as good as Theo's hummus!) It's creamy. It has a good flavor from the tahini paste. (I wish it had a few more olives on top, but that's just wishful thinking...). Their tzatziki sauce is great! We like good food and we try to eat healthy. We come here and avoid french fries or the like, but we do get their Greek salad and their grilled meat sandwiches (gyro or shwarma; personally I like the chicken shwarmas). COVID FEARS? We don't eat here. We place an order online, and if they say 20 minutes, it's so far been ready within 20 minutes every time. You walk in, and there is an area where the PICK UP orders are sitting waiting. Easy in, easy out. The only thing that could make this place better would be if they had grilled salmon, but until they do, we're coming back for the salad, the shwarmas, and the hummus :-) read more

We love Theos. The best Greek food in the land. In business for a long time and that says much. Fresh, garlicky and delish Not fancy but lots of food for a very cheap price. Quick service and everyone in the restaurant is friendly. Come and sit a spell. read more

The best fried chicken, Greek food and Greek salads! Clean, friendly service. Takeout I'd best because seating is limited.

I typically don't post reviews however the Greek chicken salad is something to write home about! It's so simple and fresh but leaves you wanting more! This is actually day two of ordering the same thing because I woke up craving it! I love how fresh the chicken is, and not questionable . I love how small and family run it feels as well! read more

I have been craving fried chicken and have heard great things about Theo's kitchen and their fried chicken offerings. My mom and I came around 2pm on a Monday for lunch. The restaurant was not too busy and we were helped right away. I went with the 3 piece fried chicken snack mix and my mom went with the lamb gyro. Our food came out quick and my chicken was piping hot! I was really excited to try the chicken but in my honest opinion it wasn't that great. My moms gyro was also mainly lamb and feta/tzatziki sauce with barely any vegetables to balance out the meal. Overall the food was okay but probably not something I would revisit. read more

I have heard about theo's for years about there fried chicken and wow.... I just ate two thighs and what I have heard about this place is true the best fried chicken in orlando.... and there greek fries were absolutely amazing I cannot wait to try there gyro read more

Ordered the Gyro King. Pretty standard, I've never had a gyro I hated. Until this one. The meat was just OK and there was so much tzatziki on it, it basically exploded. Tzatziki spurting out with every underwhelming bite. Such a (messy) bummer. read more

I absolutely LOVE Theo's! I live close enough to walk here and I probably enjoy their food at least once a week! I have gotten a number of items from the menu and I always love everything. They're a family business, always tentative and kind. Their gyros and tiziki sauce are super good and the fried chicken is the BEST I've had. 12/10 would recommend!! read more

The best Gyro I had in Orlando. Highly recommend the Gyro Supreme. It's worth it. Service was good and friendly. Only downside I have is having clean tables. We end up cleaning our tables to eat. However, it will not deter me from coming back. read more

Always enjoy coming to this family owned business never have gotten any food that was not tasty. The family greets you a smile all the time.

I love Greek foods so when this restaurant opened in my neighborhood I had to try it out. The place is clean, nice tables and chairs, although I don't see people sitting in them when I walk in. First thing I tried was the supreme Gyro and it was absolutely delicious. The lady that took my order was nice and I didn't have to wait long for my Gyro. I haven't tried any of the chicken yet but I'm going to soon. read more

Everything is so good here! The chicken is the best fried chicken hands down in this area! And all thru Florida in my opinion and I'm a hard to please southern girl, with fried chicken I am anyways and I just can't say enough about it. My 14 year old nephew who never eats chicken on the bone are 6 pieces he loves it and asks if we can have it for dinner each time he visits! But that's not all, the gyros and chicken gyro are so tender, juicy and delicious! And the feta fries are to die for!! Always get them, no matter what else we eat! Give this place a try, family owned and operated, support small business here you won't be sorry!! read more

I stopped in today for a quick gyro ($6.49) to go. We all know that every gyro joint in the US. if not the world, gets their gyro meat from the same three factories. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/15/dining/15gyro.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 Who cares? Theo's sammie is still yummy with lots of teziki, and it's served quickly without any drama. I recommend it. read more

Our go-to fried chicken place now that Old Dixie is closed. Always fresh and hot.

It's pretty ok. The fried chicken has no flavor and the meat for the gyros is not as good as other places in town but this place is pretty ok. If you're in the neighborhood and love tzaziki the way I do, it's a better alternative to greasy garbage fast food. The greek salad, hummus and other tasty side items they have are really pretty standard healthy greek fare. Not as good as Mediterranean Blue or Mediterranean Deli, but it's still pretty good. I'd go back for sure. read more

Theo's Kitchen is back! I stopped in for dinner last night, not sure exactly when they reopened, but it's pretty recent. They are now in the Winn Dixie shopping center at Curry Ford and Crystal Lake. Right next to the Catfish joint! Dinner was great, I had the chicken swarma sandwich and my friend had the falafel. Both were loaded with tahini, and done very well. We also sampled the stuffed grape leaves, and while they were small they were also delish. Love the cucumber yogurt sauce! So happy this has reopened in my backyard! Note - Closed on Sunday. read more

I'm having some conflict about this place. Theo's is a family operated Mediterranean restaurant located in a strip mall which is clearly on the up-and-up. You walk in and you immediately know that the owners have really built this place from the ground up, making do with what they've got. The decor is not fancy and their menu is on one of those old Coke boards that might be found at your local high school's football concession stand. Despite this, the restaurant is on the whole very clean and welcoming. I ordered the shwarma - one of my favorite dishes - and a side of their hummus, and what I got was right on the money in terms of authenticity. The gyro had fresh veggies and truly succulent chicken but was pretty greasy and was doused in tahini. I had a good time eating it, but definitely got over the liquid dripping out of the wrapper. The hummus was equally authentic and served with the traditional chunks of tomato and, interestingly, a pepper. It was very, very creamer and not at all salty. Could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion, but I get the feeling that this is a family recipe that hasn't been changed in a while. So, I'm at a crossroads about how I feel about this place. I mean, it wasn't amazing, but I think that for the money, the food you get is spot on. I think my $15 or so was very well spent here, and am glad that my money is going to supporting a local business and a local family. I would go again. read more

Gah! I hate to do this but our trip here was less than good. I would call this place "Greek Fast Food". Oddly enough you can get fried chicken here too besides Greek fare. We opted for the gyro with fries. They put a lot of tzaziki on the gryro with a sprinkling of shredded lettuce and tomato. I thought the taste of the tzaziki was fine but the quality of the lamb strip patties they use were the type I've seen at fast food greek joints. They come frozen in a box and are cooked to order. They put a decent amount on there but it's just not that great. My husband who has been to Greece many times was not impressed at all. We really wanted to love this little place but it came up real short for us. Come here for a quick cheap bite but don't expect much quality. read more

Best gyro I've ever had. That's all I ever order from this place. I have ordered the fried chicken dinner once but it's definitely not as good as their Greek food. The prices are very reasonable. The food is great and the owners are very nice. They usually chat with me. Definitely must try the gyros here. read more

I absolutely love this restaurant! The gyros are always good, hot, and made to order. It's a family owned restaurant, and most of the family works there and helps out! The ladies of the family are especially nice and helpful, and it's always clean when I go in. I live pretty close, so this is one of our favorite places for quick, delicious food. I like to get the gyro platter - a pita cut into quarters and served with a plate of meat, greek-salad mix (yes, mostly iceberg lettuce), and a heaping portion of tzatziki sauce and a side of fries. The gyros are great, too, but if you don't like so much tzatziki sauce, I'd ask for it on the side. Oh, and I love their baklava! SO good and flaky! The restaurant itself you can miss if you're not paying attention; it's in a Winn-Dixie plaza on Curry Ford Rd, and it's to the right of the WD as you look at it. Highly recommended! read more

Looking at this chicken joint on Michigan, you'd expect some home-cooked southern soul food. In actually, it's a Greek restaurant that must have been tipped off to it's collard-green-sounding name and exterior, and offers fried chicken and a few southern fixings on the menu. The chicken is great. The greek is even better, offering all your traditional gyros, souvlkaki, and feta fare. The lunch crowd is populated by the nurses and doctors from the surrounding neighborhood practices, and offers great lunch specials. read more

We got the 6 piece fried chicken and gyro. The fried chicken was absolutely delicious! Tender & juicy on the inside and super crispy on the outside. The gyro was also super yummy, the tziki sauce is the best I've had. Service was very friendly and food came out very fast. Will definitely be back! read more

This was my first visit and it was delicious. We ordered 3 Gyro Supremes and the meat had fantastic flavor, was a good size portion, and the tzatziki sauce was delicious. We also tried the onion rings, special ordered to be crunchy and the baklava is homemade and just perfect. We will be back!! read more

Theo's Kitchen is located in a strip mall on Curry Ford and Crystal Lake. It is Greek restaurant where you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. The menu is is a little difficult to read. It reminded me of a menu you would find posted up on the wall at a bowling alley. However, the menu had many great Greek and some non Greek items. I ordered a small Greek salad and hummus and pita. The portion sizes here are very generous. I had extra salad and hummus left at the end of my meal. The salad was very good and very fresh. I loved the hummus also! The hummus comes with tomatoes and olives on top. The pita bread was warm and crunchy. My husband ordered the chicken dinner. He wasn't so impressed with the meal. The fries were typical fries, but they appeared to be a little over cooked. He also said the chicken tasted as if it sat out for too long. I think I will just stick to the Greek menu items next time I come back. read more

Having heard how great Theo's was, I swung by and tried a gyro with a side of fries. The gyro was good, if unremarkable, and the fries were pretty standard. The location is in a fairly gloomy strip mall, but they make do with what they have. Feel free to check it out if you're in the area, but I wouldn't say it's worth any effort to make a special trip here. read more

I have tried this place a few times recently since I live nearby. My family has been raving about this place for years since they live across the street. After reading the reviews it sounded like I needed to try the fried chicken but I'm just not that into fried chicken so I've been ordering the chicken combo which is grilled chicken, hummus, and taboule. I really love Mediterranean food and have tried a number of different restaurants locally and abroad. The hummus they have here is one of my favorite. The chicken is also very good and is never dry or over cooked. I wish this was closer to work so I could have it more often. Kudos to the owner and employees for providing great food and service to the Conway area! read more

My Husband and I have drove pass this place waiting for it to be opened. We love Greek food. And to have one so close to home! They have moved to Curry Ford, close to Bumby, in the Winn-Dixie shopping center. There are no descriptions on the menu, you have to ask. We ordered the $7.99 Gyro platter (thinly sliced lamb and beef, one pita grilled, fries and a small Greek salad with a ton of that amazing tzatziki sauce). Awesome!! Loads of food for the price. Better then another place we frequent. One odd thing is they serve fried chicken! This is suppose to be Greek right? But I did read someone else review and they said one of the best places for fried chicken. I guess we'll have to try. I give this place 4 stars because the service could be much more friendlier! The place is clean and nice updated decor. read more

Great food. Baklava is on point and the gyro is authentic and good. I even like the chicken livers and gizzards!

So far out of my way,but this place has my favorite fried chicken, awesome gyros, super friendly family owned and operated, and did I mention their fried chicken is amazing, very good baklava too, pretty sure it's made in house, really good hummus as well, if they were any closer I would be a regular for sure. read more

Theo's is great. Like Michael, I too, thought it was a soul food place. Theo's is Greek soul food. I love it! The Gyros are the best in town. read more

We finally made it out to here for lunch. There really isn't much to the restaurant. In terms of atmosphere there really isn't much to it. Nothing fancy and no frills. That goes for the service too. They are nice enough to ask questions but think of greasy spoon diners loaded down with southern style waitresses, then add an accent and voila! That is ok, but rare these days. They have the option to go for platters or al a carte. The food was good but the lamb was a little dry and the pita was small compared to the platter. Everything else seemed fresh. The prices were very reasonable though, which for that I can overlook aesthetics. Overall, good food at a great price, but do not come expecting fabulous service. read more

Orlando is not a mecca for fried chicken. It shows in the many fried chicken dishes I have tried. This restaurant is one of the best places to go when you are craving it. Very suprised that a greek restaurant would be the place to go. There is no thick batter added. It's like they fry ot with no flour. Very Tasty. read more

Great Greek dishes, great value, and a great family-owned restaurant. Theo's serves authentic Greek with a little bit of soul (fried chicken is an odd standout on an otherwise Mediterranean menu...it's good, but I recommend sticking with the classics). The Tzatziki here is top-notch (better than I've had in more upscale Greek restaurants), which greatly elevates the gyros. The spinach pie is fantastic and the baklava is killer (fresh, flaky, delicious...splurge and get two pieces). Yes, the atmosphere is austere (it's in an older Winn Dixie shopping center at the corner of Curry Ford and Crystal Lake). But I'll gladly take delicious homemade food over designer digs any day. Here's a tip: Theo's provides take out service. Call in your order ahead of time and grab it on the way home. read more
