They always have simple, good material, and a little bit skinny clothes which I wanna wear everyday. This store has many new arrival ones and doesn't have many clearance ones. Not crowded at all. Not many staffs following you impatiently. read more

My experience was much better this past Sunday than it was almost two years ago. While I didn't catch (and don't think I was told) the names of those working, everyone was friendly and helpful and made recommendations. The store had their doors open to let in the 60 degrees and sunshine on the last Sunday of February. The layout was clean, and the clothes were presented in the typical minimalist fashion that is Theory. I loved the updated collection, which was presented in coordinating sections. Items similar in material and color were presented together. In terms of purchasing, I usually go for dresses from Theory because it's easy and pairs well with items I already own. I tried on a couple but none stood out. On my way out, I decided I wanted to look for straight leg pants and asked for help in identifying them. After trying on the Rosel, I fell in love. It also helped that I agreed with the associates' assessments that I looked good in them. They made my 5'9 frame look leaner and longer, and it helped that an associate, maybe she was the manager, brought me heels to jack me up and make my silhouette stand out even more. I ended up getting a suit jacket to match, and again the associate who helped me and rung me up, helped here. She identified that the two button jacket looked better on me and helped with drawing attention to my small waist. The crowds started to build at Theory while I was there to the point that there was a line for the dressing room, but the associates kept things moving and tried to help when they could. During the checkout, I noticed an issue with the pants and got another 10% knocked off of them. They also had a section that I believe was 70% off but at that point, it was slim pickings in sizes, colors, and offerings. Everything else was 40% off the tag, which seems to include new arrival items. They also had leather bags for sale, which I didn't know they sold. Anyway, I walked out ever more confident that I finally own a real power suit. read more

It's an outdoor shopping mall which makes it perfect for strolling with lots of space. Lots of outdoor seating and they have plenty of options for food. I wasn't pleased with the bathrooms but that's to be expected in public spaces like this. I was surprised that almost every store we went in had some sort of sale but happy to see some real sales! Overall I enjoyed a day of shopping and finished with a pretzel and refreshing lemonade from Aunty Annie's.

Don't miss this neat little shop. Shop downtown first. They do seen to cater more to us smaller sizes (0-6) as my friend (a size 12) didn't find much in clothing but still picked up some jewelry. In addition to the holiday things, you can also find everything else a typical Marshall's carries. There's toys, some furniture, shoes, clothes for the whole family and everything else in between. While this Marshall's was packed with shoppers, the line to check out moved very quickly, since they had a cashier working at every register.

A local chain jeweler offered to reset the stones in a new ring, doing what they could to preserve its character. Their estimate seemed a little pricey, though, but what did I know? Although my daughter preferred retaining as much of the ring as possible for sentimental reasons, she was open to doing this. Guided by positive reviews about jewelry restoration, we then visited family-owned White & Ivory Diamonds and Fine Jewelry in the Village at Leesburg. A daughter, Alina, greeted us. She was delightful to work with, asking questions about what would be important to us and coming up with some creative strategies. Alina suggested keeping the setting and the ring itself while strengthening it. It seemed ideal, so we put half down and let them do it. They did the work within the estimated time, communicating regularly via phone text, and I felt optimistic the whole time. They preserved and modified the setting to display eight of the diamond chips and kept the original clamps that had held fast all these years. The "odd" diamond went into a recessed hole on the inside of the ring - a hidden jewel! They reinforced the lower part of the ring so it would last and could be resized and plated the whole thing with white gold. The best part was it cost half what the chain estimated. I'm sure the chain would have done a fine job, but my daughter couldn't be happier with White and Ivory's creative craft work. We're so glad we gave them a shot!
