Subs are usually good but every time I ask for my pizza well done it comes out floppy or genuinely undercooked.

We've tried Themis twice now for weekend gatherings where we needed multiple pizzas and sides, and have been happy both times. Pizza prices aren't terrible (especially considering the prices of other similar restaurants), restaurant feels clean and modern, the menu is expansive, and the service has been prompt and polite each time we've visited. Also, LOVE the buy four pizzas, get the fifth one free deal! Never had a pizza that wasn't tasty, got some garlic parm wings recently that didn't change my life (but weren't awful either), and had a Greek salad that was wonderful. Halloween eve I ordered pizza knowing it would be a wait. No one told me how long. An hour after ordering, called to check in and was told it should be here in a few minutes. An hour and forty minutes later the driver shows up, without our order. The food here is good and the price is good, but one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing... New management does not know how to run the place and when they make something wrong the manager/owner is awful about it. Just own up to the mistakes and fix it. Themis is the neighborhood sandwich and pizza joint that is at least consistent. We've been ordering from Themis for awhile and we've never had any issues with wrong orders. I stick with a tuna sub (boring, I know) and the bread is fresh and the tuna salad is definitely homemade. Hubs loves their cheesesteaks! I have been a customer of Themis Pizza in Rockalnd, MA for many years, close to 4 years. The place is family run and the store is very conveniently located with good amount of parking spots. As far as the delivery goes they are always on time and never late. Staff are friendly. The subs are ok, nothing too impressive. Subs taste like any other sub shop. Their speciality pizzas however have great flavor with more spin and taste that is much better compare to other pizza shops. I should admit that their ingredients are always fresh and you can taste the freshness on the food. What I most like about their pizzas is that it is not salty and it is not greasy. This is a good news specially for folks with high blood pressure like myself. The only complaint that I have is about their pizza dough. They use premade pizza doughs that is NOT the fresh store made thin crust. I see more and more pizza shop using this kind of spongy premade dough and that is sad. Themis pizza would be the best in my opinion and I would give them a full 5 Star rating if the dough was real store made and not premade frozen. read more

Gotta get the small pies, for whatever reason they are superior to the large. I grew up in rockland and have lived all over the state. No place is as good as Themis. Spencer's in Abington is a close second but there's just something about the small Themis pies that has me. Crust is perfect, sauce is nice, love the cheese. I work right up the street from Themis so I order lunch here frequently and I haven't had a bad experience. I love their pizza skins pizza which is mashed potatoes, cheese, bacon and some sour cream on the side. It's a must try and one of my favorites! Food is good but the delays are starting to wear on me. Usually stop there on thursday nights. So last night I order ahead and they say "30 to 35 minutes". I get there in 30 and wait a couple extra minutes and then go in.
