They were flexible (and so was their job after us) so they were able to finish everything up for us in the extra hours we didn't expect to need. Thanks again! Jeff and Scott were great. However, their company is not. They guys got the job done in three hours. I had paid for four and was told to call to get a refund for the extra hour. Then I was told to call U-Haul (which I booked through) to get the refund, and now U-Haul is telling me to call the company. The company will not answer the phone. The actually scheduling and day-of experiences were great, which is why I chose Them Movers in the first place. I had never used a moving company, but their polite receptionist and ease with schedule was awesome. The two guys showed up, running a little late, but that's fine, and they were really nice and efficient when it came to filling the time I was paying for. Being that it was only me, I couldn't help point to what was moving and how and watch them fill the items in my U-Haul U-Boxes at the same time. They instructed me that it would be easier if I stayed in the house to point to what was prioritized to fit, so I did. They were able to get 95% of my stuff in there, which wasn't bad. It took a little longer than I hoped, but - like I said - they constantly kept working. Afterwards, as I was cleaning up and seeing what all hadn't fit, I noticed that there was still plenty of space in areas of the U-Boxes, so I threw in some stuff. They also hadn't really organized it the way I'd asked, but that was fine. Everything was ultimately going to the same place. U-Haul had also sent 72 furniture blankets. That was more than I could possibly want or need, and I saw that they had covered my couch properly with them. Unfortunately, when the U-Boxes arrived at my new home, I discovered that furniture blankets had not been used to cover all my better furniture, specifically my coffee table, which now has a huge knick in it and scratched on the top. Likewise, I discovered that they hadn't really utilized the space as well as they could have. I have some of those cube storage units with bins, and they didn't put the bins in the storage units, for whatever reason. I tried giving them a call and left a voicemail, just to state the above experience. That was two weeks ago, and I still haven't got a response. This really disappointed me after I had a great initial experience. The coffee table isn't in production anymore, so I can't just replace it, and I'm sure there's some way to "fix" it, but still... It wasn't the experience I wanted to have when I moved into my new house. So, it's really those final reasons that led me to give a lower score. Maybe it was just the two men they had sent to me. Maybe it was just a bad day. I'm not sure, but I felt like I should at least let others know about my less-than-ideal experience. read more

We used this service for unloading a 26' moving truck at our new residence in Sewickley PA. The workers unexpectedly came an hour early (not a problem for us). The quality of work, overall, was very good except that one of the workers had an injury and was struggling and then unable to move the final two large, heavy pieces. To the Owner's credit, he said that he was unaware of his worker's injury and he returned the next day with another guy and completed the job. The workers had a very positive attitude, even when faced with some heavy items that had to be taken up to the third level. We are very pleased. read more

My husband and I used Them Movers back in June to pack our truck to move about twenty minutes out of town, and it was a good experience, so we thought we would hire them to pack our pod as we were moving cross country. The two movers came and packed our pod (as far as we knew, properly, as when you hire movers you trust them to know what they are doing). Yet, upon arriving to our new destination, we discovered that Them Movers packed our pod completely incorrectly. Heavy boxes were on top of our wardrobe boxes, things were not properly covered (despite giving them 36 moving blankets--they only used 24) and items were thrown on top of the boxes to move and be broken throughout the trip to our new home. I called and spoke to Robert about this and was repeatedly interrupted, told the company who had unpacked the pod must have broken everything and was then hung up on. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone and now am left with two broken nightstands, a broken desk, a broken 6-drawer dresser, three broken shoe racks, broken Pyrex as well as some other glasses, crushed moving boxes, scratched and scuffed blanket ladders, and other damaged items totaling almost $500 and we still have many boxes to unpack. read more

If you need to hire a mover to throw your belongings in a truck and move next door this is the company for you!! However- if you need a mover, a REAL mover that actually knows what they're doing and understand the difference between a heavy object and a lightweight object DO NOT hire Them Movers! They are not capable of loading your items to move across the country. I have never in all my experience seen such an unprofessional company that cannot accept responsibility for their actions. Absolutely the worst service ever. I was scheduled for a 9 am unload job and was notified by the shipper that they could not be a location until 11 am. I called Them Movers and explained the situation and to let them use the time as they saw fit. I contracted 4 hours of service, but Terry in Ohio, rescheduled them and NEVER got back to me with a new time. He kept sending me to Moving Staffers who contracted them and they kept sending me back to that yahoo. Moving Staffers NEVER helped us out either and just left us hanging. DO NOT EVER BOOK THEM MOVERS. You will be extremely disappointed and inconvenienced. I eventually found another local company to unload my parents stuff at 3 pm. read more

This is a great moving company! My husband and I recently made the move to Columbus from Cleveland, and I booked movers (through the Uhaul site) to help load and unload the truck in both cities. The movers in Columbus turned out to be a nightmare, but 'Them Movers' in Cleveland were fantastic. The movers called the morning of the move to let us know that they could arrive 30 mins earlier if we were ready, which we weren't due to our scheduled time to pick up the truck. They said "no problem" and found something else to do until we got back. When the 2 gentlemen arrived (we initially booked 3) they let us know that the 3rd employee had called off, but in case they went over the 3 hours we booked, we would not be charged extra. After inspecting the moving load they let us know that they'd be able to handle it all in sooner than the 3 hours, so I was able to call the owner and he agreed that I should go ahead and change the job on the moving website to a 2 man job since they wouldn't be going over the 3 hours. I appreciated that they cared about saving me money, and everyone was very apologetic about the inconvenience. The 2 movers did a great job and they were done in just over 2 hours. The guys were really friendly in chatting with us as they worked, and they were very careful with getting everything packed up safely and efficiently. I was extremely satisfied with the job that they did, ancompany!d would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone in the Northeast Ohio area. I only wish I'd heard of them before so I could have used them in previous moves. Don't recommend. Scratched up entrance door trying to squeeze a dryer through it. Their solution was to push it harder, even though it clearly wasn't getting past it. Had to make them stop, get it unstuck and take the door off the hinges get through. Scratched my dining room table. Scratched flooring at the new house with Sliding an appliance across it. If you are in the service area for Them Movers and need to hire help, I strongly encourage you to look no further. I was in a bit of a difficult situation in which I needed to move out of my apartment with very short notice. It also did not help that the move-out day was on a Sunday. Not only did Them Movers respond very quickly to my difficult request, but they also offered the most reasonable rate for their services (out of about a dozen places I called). What made them really stand out was how professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and proficient their crew was. I had the pleasure of working with Bob and Alex on my move-out day, and I could not be possibly happier with how things went. On top of that, they agreed to help us unload the truck at our new location even though that was not the agreed-upon task upon hiring. These guys will get things done for you and will do it quickly, safely, and at an unbelievable price. Had a 16' PODS container to unload -- full of heavy furniture -- and get into our hillside house in Pittsburgh. The guys from Them Movers moved it all quickly and without any issue. Had to get a queen bed frame up a hill, into the house, and up a flight of stairs and required disassembling -- did it quickly and put all back together again upstairs for us as well, which was a great perk we were not expecting. Hired for a load only of a 15 foot truck, Bryan and Rain were fantastic! They worked incredibly fast and were delicate with my furniture! Packed the truck securely and I have never been more pleased with movers. They were polite and professional, and pack in about an hour and a half! Even helped disassemble furniture pieces that were not a part of my move. Helpful and great movers! They worked great as a team, were friendly, and their main concern was the safety and security of all of my belongings. I would give zero stars if I could. Called August 8th and was told they had all day availability for August 15th booked 4 men for a 10am start for 2 hours. Spoke to a gentleman who by my mistake I forgot the name of who told me i was booked and would be taken care of. Day of move comes no call, voicemail is full at 10am, and no one is answering the phone. Finally get a hold of someone (Kayla) and she tells me she doesn't see me on the list or paperwork for me. Calls her boss "Bob" and proceeds to tell me that they can't do anything as it's not their fault that I'm not on their schedule. I ask if there is anything they can do for me? She says well you can talk to my boss. Not let me take a look at the schedule to see if we can get you in later today or another day. Tells me nope nothing we can do but again you can speak to my boss. Smh don't come here, don't call them. Not sure how this company is still around. Glad they never got a penny from me. Seems like not only the workers are smoking and doing drugs but also the owner and management. TERRIBLE COMPANY. read more
