I buy the vast majority of my cigars there and the vast majority of my lighters as I tend to buy cheap lighters and they don't last. This is fine because I like the new stuff. Bottom line is, I am always treated well when I go in there. I can't think of a single time that I have visited Crescent and have walked out feeling disgruntled. Not once. I've never had a problem where a store policy has felt unfair to me there. In fact, I am heading there now to pick up another handful of my favorite Perdomos.

I've been shopping here for several years and I always have positive interactions. The cigar selection is fantastic and more importantly the cigars are humidified perfectly in the walk-in humidor. If you do have the occasion and get a bad cigar just bring it back and they'll replace it instantly, on the spot, no questions asked. They also have a wide array of cigar accessories if you're trying to make out your Christmas wish list or are looking to buy something for that favorite guy or gal. I said thanks and that I would be in. When I got there it was busy. The employee was hanging out on the couch watching TV. I looked right at him and he did not acknowledge me. I looked around for about 5 minutes, trying to find the recommendation but could not find anything. When I came out to ask, the TV was muted and about 15 people were staring right at me, like I just hit someone's dog in dead silence. I have very severe PTSD from the war and this almost made me flip out. I don't appreciate being intimidated when walking into a business. Maybe they hate veterans, I don't know. Regardless, I asked the employee about the recommendation I was given and he laughed in my face implying I never emailed anyone. It was condescending and rude. This was also while in complete silence, tv muted, and every single person staring at me. I walked away from him and his gangs aggression and looked for a few minutes more. After another few LONG minutes he FINALLY walked in and started giving me recommendations, like I was forcing him to do his job. I didn't buy anything he recommended (after that he was probable trying to sell me stale ones), and just bought a couple individuals I already knew (not a box). When I checked out the tv was back on and people were not staring at me in disgust. So much for going to my closest cigar shop. Veterans are not welcome and ownership needs to get involved.

I'm always pleased to see cigar retailers who take the time with novice or very occasional smokers . I popped in for a few things for the drive home but I haven't seen a cigar place that full in a long time.
