I am definitely not one to complain! I didn't even speak up when the lady pulled out the manicotti noodles from the fridge with no gloves on our hand and just took someone's credit card and swiped it before she did that. She had also touched multiple things before touching food with bare hands. There was also sauce and noodles just sitting on counters without lids. But when I take my foot out of a bag, it had a hair coming out of the lid. Once again, I'm sorry I have to write this review because I don't complain, but that is a food safety hazard people can get sick. read more

I thought the prices and the food were pretty good. Actually some of my favorite Italian options in the area, we got the veal parm over lasagna and chicken parm over ravioli. The veal parm was good and seemed hand breaded. The lasagna was a lot of cheese but better than the ravioli. The chicken parm was a little disappointing as it's was like made. With frozen chicken tenders. I was hoping it would of been hand breaded or at least a little more homemade. Overall, for the price I would be back...just don't order the chicken parm - stick with the veal read more

The food is great! We were here for take out a few days ago and were very happy with everything we got. Veal parm, chicken parm, lasagna, ravioli, pepperoni pizza, and a Greek salad. Everyone enjoyed all of the food. Great home made Italian foods at great prices, not that easy to come by in the area. We will be back and hope everyone reading this review tries them out. The reviews are spotty at best but after much searching I settled on this place. I am surprised to find this place in such poor condition from the outside and while most would se this as a turn off I look at it as an adventure. Inside it smells wonderful there is booth style seating and it's practically empty there's a small television playing for a youngster and I'm immediately greeted by a woman from behind a counter. While the menu is quite expansive I kept it simple 10" pizza with everything but the anchovies, chef salad and rice pudding with a can coke. The salad was much more than even I can conquer on a good day. The pizza was so much more than I was expecting I especially enjoyed the crust very simple yet quite tasty too. The toppings were plentiful and everything was baked properly with no sogginess. The rice pudding certainly lived up to my expectations as well as the descriptions from previous reviewers. I give this establishment 4 Stars while the food was excellent and the service was adequate the men's restroom was out of order with no alternative. However should you be in the mood for an exceptional pizza from a no frills eatery this is definitely your place. Great food y'all give em a try! read more

I have been ordering food from Thee Maria's in Edgemere for 20 years. I have never had a complaint. Their food is delicious, the cheese they use on their pizza is amazing and the service and delivery is incredible. I don't understand the negative reviews I see for this place. I moved to Edgemere about 10 years ago, and immediately fell in love with this place. Their pizza, to me, is amazing; they don't skimp on ingredients, and the crust is spectacular. I've had a handful of their subs and salads, as well as their dinner platters, and I liked them all. The only thing that I've ever been disappointed by was the lamb gyro, but it's also very possible that this is a traditional Greek gyro, and the ones I've had at other places are "Americanized" (much like American pizza and Chinese food doesn't taste anything like the real deal), hence the different taste. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, just not as good as some of the others I've had. All in all, I recommend this place to everyone who asks about good food in the area. A little hole in the wall, and those are almost always the best places. I've had people turn their noses up at it and tell me how terrible it is but, as far as I'm concerned, that's their loss. read more

While visiting the area for my husbands 50th Birthday (trip down memory lane) we stopped in for a pizza and Cheese Steak sandwich. What we ended up with was an amazing dinner experience. The pizza and Cheese Steak were great and the customer service was out of this world. We ended up going back on our last evening there, and again it was Amazing.
