I injured my foot a while back and was getting more and more out of shape with the inability to really exercise, and hoped this might be the thing for me. I arranged a private lesson with Janette and signed up immediately. Janette has been AMAZING! She honed in immediately on the things that were holding me back and works every lesson to move me past them. She is patient and kind but still pushes me to exceed what I believe I can do. Now in my mid fifties, not only am I getting the exercise I need, I'm reshaping my body, my posture, my balance, my whole body is changing in just a month. I feel wonderful when I leave the studio and look forward to every lesson. (not always the case for me with exercise ;-) The studio is warm and inviting. Janette is an incredible teacher with so much experience and such good insights. I highly recommend her and Pilates EDH to anyone looking not just for another exercise, but for teaching and movement that balances, strengthens and restores the body in all the right ways. I can't compare to other studios, but I can say that Janette has me totally hooked! If you're having any doubts, call the studio. You'll be glad you did.

She is helping me retrain my body to no longer depend on my lower back which has been giving me fits and pains over the years and use my core and seat instead. She can tell right away when i'm off and corrects me, or comes up with a new exercise to adjust. She cares deeply about the well being of her students (and the planet!!). I love that i can totally rely on her and trust her to figure out what my body neeeds, whether pilates excercises or bodywork or a combination of the 2. She watches and listens to my body and quickly comes up with the next step. I love her focus and dedication. I cannot recommend her enough for individual or group pilates classes, and for bodywork. You will be well taken care of.

One of my favorite features is the sauna and steam rooms in both the women's and men's locker rooms -- such a nice way to unwind after a workout. The tennis courts are also really well maintained, and there's a great community vibe here with lots of people gathering to play tennis and pickleball regularly. The pools are nice as well, although during the winter the lap pool is the only heated pool, so it can sometimes be difficult to swim unless you're able to secure a lane. Overall, while the facility could definitely benefit from some updates, the amenities and active community keep me coming back.

I called to cancel which they did but as for a refund they sent a check to my Dead Husband that my bank said I cannot cash. This is ridiculous. I asked if they needed a death certificate or my marriage certificate they said no. They said they could only send check in his name because he was the primary on the account even though im on it too. I am disputing charge with my bank. This is horrible business practices. I would choose a different gym. I will be looking into a lawyer if this doesn't get resolved.

My class was cancelled by an instructor and I was told by the staff (as well as via email and text) that I would NOT be charged. However, upon further investigation, I found out something interesting. I WAS in fact charged. Thinking it must've been an honest mistake, I reached out via email just to be told they don't do refunds after all. Instead, they offer "credits" to come back to their studio (that expire BTW). I was still charged after being reassured I would NOT be charged, for a service I never received. As if that isn't enough, the staff was also unfriendly immediately upon walking in.. I was blankly stared at by 2 staff members with no greeting for some time before they said anything to me. Plus, they don't offer modifications for people in class which was surprising to me, considering these are supposed to be "professional" instructors. There's fishy things going on at this studio.. I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere. BodyRok may as well be called BodyNOT.

I saw 3 people go down the rapids on paddle boards standing!! That was impressive! Love this studio!! Always a warm welcome when you come in the door, you can pay as you go, or sign up for various packages. The studio is clean, it includes an immaculately kept bathroom, there is always cold water and all of the tools that you need if you don't want to bring your own mat. I was new to yoga when I signed up earlier this year in 2025, but everything is explained, visually and orally, and there is no competition. I'd say that all of the classes are either beginner to intermediate and everything is explained so that nobody gets injured And that everybody walks out with a smile on their face. The price point is very fair, the owner is phenomenal and kind, and your body will thank you after one of the one hour classes. It's never too crowded, the place always smells fresh and inviting. I even went as far as to take the teacher training here that was a mistake. I gave them my truth, which is kind of deep and they turned on me. The judgment I felt from many individuals in this community was too much for me to bear the last time I went in there I thought well this is it. I can't take this kind of judgment, so I just went in to be playful and I was thrown out by a teacher who looked very angry just because I was saying goodbye to this community. Did it hurt Yes I wouldn't recommend this community to anyone at this point.

There is plenty of parking so no need to worry about that! If you will see a big "Yoga" sign above you are at the right place. When you come in, you will be greeted by your instructor/the receptionist. With that said, sometimes, if you call during the class, the instructor may not be available to answer the phone. If you need a mat, you can rent one along with a towel as well. Otherwise, you are welcome to bring in your own mat and towels. What to bring: Yoga mat Towel to go on top of your yoga mat Water/electrolytes drink ( if you are inclined to shower after the class they have showers available too!) Tip: Don't be late! Once the class is in session, the front doors are locked. Even though the heat is evenly distributed throughout the room, I was told that if you are closer to the window, you will get a little less heat on that side . Yoga etiquette: Find a spot in the room, where you can see yourself in the mirror, but do not block anybody behind you. No talking during the class. Do not leave the class early. If you're a beginner like me, you will enjoy taking Amanda's class ! She goes through the class step by step and is very clear about each yoga move/position. I'm so glad to have taken my first Hot Yoga class with her. I will definitely be back to take more of her classes!
