Keeping up with going to classes consistently has made such a positive difference in my life. I've mostly gone to Restore classes, but have branched out to Hot Mat Pilates/Fusion and even the Signature Hot! The Pilates/fusion is a really good challenge without feeling defeating. Just do what you can, and Mary makes it fun! The hot sequence is so good and juicy and really lays the foundation for improved wellness and fitness. Letting go of tension, building strength, and sweating out the toxins has benefits that keep on giving. Studio owner Michelle is a true gem, she is so kind and very involved in the community. It's nice to see her in class too! The yoga six EDH community is really something special. Highly recommend trying a class, catching a workshop, or joining! It is hard to pick one favorite teacher, I love them all! There is a new studio location opening in the Palladio in Folsom this year too! Don't miss out!

Evolution Flow Yoga has been a genuine find . The community…read morehere is real -- in just a few months I've made actual connections, and you can feel that this is a place people come back to, even though the studio itself is only a year old. There's something for everyone: standard Flow (one breath, one movement), Slow Flow for newer practitioners or, like me recently, coming back from injury, Yoga Nidra guided meditation, Yin (long holds for deep stretching), and breathwork. Had a rough week? The Weekly Exhale on Thursday evenings combines breathwork and Yin into exactly what you need. Owner Steph has built a schedule with enough range that you can find classes that match your schedule (before work, evenings, etc.) And if you've been curious, now's the time -- they're running specials: free yoga for new students all through July. The heat is infrared -- a higher-end setup that leaves you warm and open without that overwhelming, gasping-for-air feeling some heated studios have. Mats, blocks, and props are all available, and there's a space to change, so you can come straight from work. I used to think yoga was just stretching and mobility at the gym. Practicing at a dedicated studio with encouraging, experienced teachers has shown me it's a whole different -- and better -- experience. I usually want to keep places like this to myself, but gatekeeping goes against the spirit of yoga so: go experience it. It's changing my life for the better.
