We walked up to the counter and, even though there were 2 girls, one was serving and one just stood there when there was 3 people waiting in the queue. The frozen yogurt choices aren't posted on their menu board so you have to ask what flavours are - this is no problem for an empty shop but when there are people waiting it does waste time, especially as many people like to decide when they are waiting rather than being put on the spot. The fro-yo itself seemed lumpy and not the same texture as the one we had at the Yog Bar. The chocolate buttons we had tasted off, the sauces that were advertised on the board 'weren't available as they didn't know how to work the machine' - nor were there any other sort of sauce as a replacement - and the toppings were so small it didn't seem worth the money. I was also rather disappointed that the initial cost didn't include at least one topping, instead I paid £3.45 for a medium tub and 40p for 2 toppings (it's 50p for every topping after that). The serving spoon for toppings was white plastic picnic desert spoons which don't hold much, meaning you would be lucky if you got more than half a cookie as a topping. We understand it is a new business to the area so please take this as constructive criticism (and we will re-visit in a few months) but Froyo&Joe didn't appear to be ready to be opened based on the service, shop front and product we received.

Well, it's awesome, get yourself a big fat banana split, a sundae, cones, tube, to eat in, or you can purchase little cinema style single serving tubs, or treat yourself to varying litres, yes, litres. I'm personally always a fan of a banana split, as I can pretend I'm not being completely awful to my waistline, and you get to pick three flavours. My current absolute favourite is the Jaffa cake icecream, I described it to my other half, and he said its description was more unnecessarily arousing than the old marks and Spencer's ads. This isn't just any icecream, this is: tiramisu, Turkish delight, vanilla, blackcurrant, tutti fruity, bubblegum, chocolate, blackcurrant and licorice, ginger and lime, cappuccino, strawberry, dulce de leche, banana, banoffee, mint n choc, cherry, honeycomb, and so so much more thick, creamy, jersey cow deliciousness. You can buy it by the cone or in various sized tubs. Obviously the bigger tub you buy, the cheaper it works out per litre ( by the biggest!! He he ). There is a lovely field outside with picnic benches, perfect to drive, cycle or walk to. If coming from Stafford it is possible to get there on a cycle path, google it.

Dairy free (organic soya milk and soya ice cream) is also available - they have thought of everything, which I am really pleased about. Alternatives are available if you don't want a shake, smoothies, solo juices and fusion juices are popular. Not bad prices, but if they were dirt cheap I would question the quality and also would be at least a stone heavier. So it keeps me from having too many of them.

The produce is actually very nice indeed and their smoothies in particular are very impressive. The place feels relaxed and a lot of fun which is exactly as it should be. The staff are very friendly and they are great at helping you choose if you are unsure and unlike some places they do not try to direct you towards the most expensive product. I really enjoyed my trip to this establishment and came away with a big smile on my face and in my eye that means that they've got the job done. If you have children then take them for the shakes, but if you are a big kid like me then you should check it out as well.

It's adorable- all big trees and cobbles, and the most enormous goat I've ever seen in my life. Everything was planted up pretty, and little old guys scooting up on their mopeds for a scoop. I'm 99% sure this is the best ice cream in the land. You can choose from so many flavours, I had fanuttytastic and carrot cake, the latter was particularly exceptional, but I was also tempted by the white mountain, the banana, the Turkish delight, the sloe and damson gin, the elderflower and rhubarb and the maple and walnut- so I'll just have to come back, won't I?

A small little farm-style set up with an onsite creamery and a shop selling no less than fourty, YES - FOUR-ZERO - flavours of ice cream and frozen yogurt. Once you've made your decision you can plonk yourself on the numerous benches or prostrate on the garden lawn (if you overdo it on the cream) and there is also a short country walk if you'd prefer to burn off some of your sugar intake. Every flavour is churned on site and given a suitably cheeky name (think B&J pre-Unilever). They also have seasonal limited editions like Summer Pimms and have previously partnered with a local Cheshire bakery for an apple pie ensemble (with whole apple pie churned into it!). In the interest of research (and gluttony) I opted for the double scoop, one of 'Driving me Cherries', a rich chocolatey flavour packed full of juicy fresh black cherries, topped off with the creamiest coconut ice cream I have ever tasted. Most importantly they give good cone - if you're a selling me an ice cream in a wafer cone, then frankly you can shove your wafer where the sun don't shine! I want a cone of equal calorific value to its contents and Snugberry's deliver with their crisp and sugary waffle cones. A right proper handful. Tactical ice cream tip: the servers are real pro's with their scoopage, filling the cone completely. However, you'll find a generous variety of flavours to make your mouth water. My favourite has to be Pistachio, which I found to be just as good as the one I had in Venice. Certainly worth the money if you enjoy it! As well as ice cream and hot drinks, they strangely combine their sweet business by offering a selection of savoury snacks, such as breakfast butties and soups with rolls. These dishes are are a bit pricey but when you consider it's prime location and fine dining experience, it is second to none. Rich's is primarily a nice little café at the quieter end of Lord Street which offers its customers a pleasant atmosphere in a reasonably-sized area that gives shoppers the chance to take the weight of their feet and have a hot drink and a sandwich or light snack. However, where Rich's really excels is in its range of desserts. As their sign says, Rich's sells ice cream in a variety of flavours and colours, meaning even the fussiest person could find a flavour to suit their tastes (I usually play safe and stick to chocolate myself, but each to their own). Their dessert menu also features a selection of homemade delicacies such as sundaes and huge chocolate éclairs which at three quid are pretty expensive but are definitely worth it, as my éclair-loving friend will testify.

However, the ice cream itself is fairly thin, and as you drink most of it through the straw, what's remaining is 60% crushed peanuts. It is a little pricey as all of these places tend to be - I had a regular-sized 'galaxy caramel with flake topping' (one of the recommended flavours) and it cost almost £3 - but they are darn tasty. They also do a selection of wheat grass, goji berry 'body boosters' but if you're having a milkshake why would you taint it with something approaching a health food?
