It has a fantastic position on the Tontine hill literally a hundred yards or so from the Ironbridge itself so its a perfect place to nip into for a cone before strolling over the bridge and by the river. It's unbelievable, and more than a little daunting for those just used to chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. So how are they? AMAZING. I had the Aero® mint (like the candy bar) and it was delicious. Inside there's a kind of American Diner feel, which I love. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone who knows me knows that customer service is VERY important to me and again I was not dissapointed here. I also love the fact that this is a family run business. I heard on the grapevine that the manager/owner went to Italy to train to make gelato! Talking to him, it's clear he has a passion for it and was happy to discuss how the gelato was made and new flavours he was exploring. I asked about whether he would be doing diary free ice cream and was told that he was experimenting with this, but would also be offering sorbet at some point too. This made me VERY happy. The milkshakes seem particularly popular, but on my most recent visit, I had a fresh made waffle and gelato. Strawberries and cream come as standard, although I did not partake. The gelato was so creamy and full of flavour and the waffle was huge, so I was a very happy person.

The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, there is a wide range of American treats to buy (oddly enough I do recommend the pizza flavoured Pringles!) and it is all-round a good fun place to hang out. I have had one of their famous "Freakshakes", it was a blueberry cheesecake flavoured one from a specials menu and came with a blueberry muffin on top, it was phenomenal!
